I have taken all my vehicles to the dealership forever until now. Christmas 2023 a problem with my Ford Taurus needed to be fixed. The dealership under new management failed to accommodate me at the time. The Auto shop took my vehicle in addressed and fixed the problem. I needed a repair in a time of year where everybody is busy, and they came through. Auto Shop was honest, fast, and thorough. The shop is clean, and all the employees are helpful and professional. They are not cheap but fair. They are reliable, honest, and a true value when you need help. Dave Crawferd (owner) and staff will give you the expertise, advise, and plan to address your vehicle issues. I have lived in Jefferson City since 1963 and the Auto shop is #1 for auto repair.! Workmanship, Honesty, value, Customer service 100%.!!!

Chris and Danny (owner) were EXCEPTIONAL to work with. I had a fairly recent experience with a local dealership that was, to put it politely, less than stellar. The Auto Shop was able to get me in the day after I called which, as it turns out, likely saved me from a catastrophic event. After diagnosing my issues, they sent photos and a detailed report of needed repairs and followed up with a phone call to discuss. Due to the nature of my repairs, they encountered some hiccups along the way, but were always quick to reach out to communicate what was going on and expected timelines for completion.Communication. Promptness. Politeness. Customer Service.Seems like they should all be standard practice, but I assure you it's not that way everywhere you go. At The Auto Shop, that's exactly what I got, and I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a great place to take their vehicle!!

Took my truck in for a diagnostics check. Was told needed to change my starter and battery. Wanted to charge me over $1000 for a simple job. I declined, and changed the starter myself in an hour and half. And my battery checked fine, so didn't even have to replace. Obviously they thought I didn't know what I was doing , so to all...be careful of these people. They will definitely overcharge you. BTW, my starter I paid only $79 for off of RockAuto. Much cheaper then they would have charged me

FANTASTIC F'N PEOPLE. I COULD GO ON AND ON. I was stuck in Schunks parking lot with a dead battery and they didn't hesitate to come give a jump start in the parking lot and fit me in with a new battery in under an hr! They fit me into there busy schedule and treated me like family! I will be going back for anything I need

I got an oil change here, and Cody was absolutely amazing. He was very personable and talked me through everything that was going to be done to my car. I was provided with a full report with photos of my car as well as a list of everything coming up my car needs. I didn't feel pressured at all, which I really appreciate, and my car is running great!I was able to drop it off, get a ride home, and a ride back to my car also! Which was very convenient. Cody also explained how they offer after hours pick up as well, so they really work around every schedule.As an extra bonus there was a nice little thank you package in my car when I got in, it really added that extra touch for me! I will be returning!

I was needing a state inspection for my car and hoping to find a shop same day. When I called, (Joel?) answered the phone and was the most pleasant and helpful person. I was told I could drop off in an hour and they would work on my vehicle as soon as they could, should only be a couple hours tops . I had to call just before drop off because I was running late, fully prepared to reschedule since it was on my end that I was behind. They said so problem just swing on by when I can. When I arrived at the shop I was greeted with friendly smiles and and an easy key hand off. Auto Shop offers a shuttle service both ways which helped me immensely. Even the shuttle driver was a cheery interaction.My car was ready within about an hour; I was given a link to their 30-pt inspection with pictures and details of what all is going on with my car, and even called me before coming back to the shop to explain things.I have scheduled some future work on my car since they provided a detailed explanation and transparent cost breakdown.5/5 would recommend this shop. I originally tried to go to Nissan in Jeff and the guys in service were rude and dismissive. So I found the auto shop and I'm glad I did!! They're amazing ! I predominantly worked with Daniel on the phone. He was very informative and very kind. The service and treatment I recieved from the Auto shop was wonderful! We use The Auto Shop for EVERYTHING! Their staff is incredible--Brooke and Joel are always so friendly and knowledgeable when we come in--and their shuttle service is so convenient. I trust their techs with ANY repair and drive all the way from Columbia just to utilize their services. We even received a handwritten thank you note after our last service...these details are so important and show how much they care about their customers!! I very much appreciated the service I received at The Auto Shop. I needed a safety inspection and a few items came up that red flagged. They were straightforward with their prices, gave me photos of all the issues, and I didn't feel like they were trying to inflate the work needed. During the work they found an unexpected issue, and they helped me find the most cost effective way to fix the issue and saved me a ton of money on having to replace the part completely.The whole time while working with them, they were very professional, and worked with me to meet any concerns I had. Vehicle problems can always be frustrating, but Daniel and The Auto Shop provided great customer service, and I am not sure I've ever had a better interaction with another shop anywhere. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

After specifically asking that my coolant and wiper fluid be filled while it was in the shop 2 weeks ago for an oil change, I was assured they would top them off.I know my brakes need changed. So today I called for pricing. Their prices are $200 more than two of their competitors here in town.When I found that out - I lost faith. Went to check my fluids. They are empty! Should have checked before I left 2 weeks agoThey lie. And they price gouge.

I needed a second opinion on car repairs. They found some simple stuff that was missed and saved me from some major repairs and some things that I was told by another that I needed that wasnt accurate. They fixed it up for less than expected and gave me a very detailed and thorough analysis of the condition of my car. It was above and beyound what I expected and have not experienced at other shops.I will be going back when I need repairs.

Comprehensive report with pics and video was wonderful and they were able to get me all squared away in a very fast turnaround so I could continue in my travels. Very friendly and professional staff as well. The team at the Auto Shop did an incredible job getting my old Mercedes back on the road so that I could get home to St. Louis. I will be using this auto repair business for the foreseeable future. I had a breakdown on Tuesday and needed to make an important trip on Friday (this weekend). Every other repair shop had wait times for 1-2 weeks. I explained my situation and Daniel immediately got to working and found a time that they could squeeze me in. Within a day, they had diagnosed the problem and got it fixed well before Friday. In fact, it only took about ~2 days to get it resolved. The work was great and they documented every step and provided me a report that detailed what was wrong along with documentation and photos to show clearly the problem. I will 100% be using this business and HIGHLY recommend that others do as well. Thank you for all of your help and quick turnaround time. I was traveling through Jefferson City late in a day when a catastrophic engine warning happened. My luck turned to reward when I called Ross at the Auto Shop. They rearranged schedules and techs to help diagnose my issue. Both the Service Advisor, Ross and the Lead Mechanic, Danielle quickly made me feel like family and that I was in good hands. I can t say enough how wonderful and helpful everyone was at the Auto Shop. The Auto Shop is wonderful! They have done everything from maintenance work to engine repairs on my vehicles. Always get us in very quick, great with giving updates on where they're at with repairs, honest, good people! They also offer a shuttle service, which is very handy!
