There is not enough stars to give this business ! They go above and beyond to help you and make shure you are satisfied with the work they perform on your vehicle. Honest and very very respectful! Fantastic experience here!! As a single woman, I have had plenty of experiences with mechanic shops lying to me, or price gouging.My Jeep is everything to me, so it means a lot when I am happy with service. Danny & his team treated both my Jeep, and me, very well. My brakes were done in under 2.5 hours and he was kind enough to pick me up too! 10 outta 10 recommend.

Had my car for two paid half in full for engine replacement, hard to get a hold of. Finally they told me they didn't have time and would refund my money but I needed to move before hand. This cost me extra money on a rental and time to figure out. Still he was respectful and nice, just drawn out and should said something sooner.

For a small shop, they're kickin' it! My younger son has had some misfortunes with his vehicles, and they've done a great job working on one that will be finished soon, and one for a water pump replacement. My car needed a windshield washer pump, and inspection. I dropped it off when we picked up my son's vehicle, and they quickly got it squared away in time for me to get my vehicle's registration done, and still make my appointment.My older son took his Town and Country in this morning. The only issue was a broken hose clamp, which they quickly fixed and he will be back on the road.My youngest son's van, a Honda Odyssey, had the water pump fail, which burned out the timing belt, and ruined the valvetrain. The put in an engine I ordered, which turned out to be a little different, requiring extra work to install. Honestly, I should've just had them rebuild the original engine. We also found that Honda's faulty VCM clogged the catalytic convertors, meaning the new engine can't run well. We're going to have that fixed, too, because it's a known issue. When it's finished, it will almost be a new van, mechanically. Some folks don't understand all of this, they were actually grateful to have a customer that understands they were honest and upfront about the situation.They have not tried to upsell anything at all. They have performed the necessary services, and gone above and beyond while doing so. Good shop, and I heartily recommend them.

I can't express how greatful I am to this business. Yesterday was the day after Christmas and me and my mother both had car problems. My car had oil pouring out of it and my mom had my grandfather follow her in his car so I could have a vehicle to get to work today. Well, my mom's vehicle broke down in my driveway when she got to my house and was overheating. We then had to figure out how to get both our cars in somehow. My mom lives 2 hours away and had to be back at work today. We called everywhere and only two places were open. The first place told us they couldn't help us till the next day but we needed something done as soon as possible. Brock answered and listened to my story of many unfortunate events and said he was at maximum capacity but if we brought my mom's car over he would look at it right away. He called us 2 hours later with answers. After diagnosing my mother's car I told him about my car and he said to bring it in. He had a Christmas party to go to last night and he still had my car fixed and ready to go this morning for me and my mom's car needed parts ordered so it's taking longer but will be done tomorrow! Never have I seen such fast turn around. He was so genuine and felt so bad for all the trouble we had yesterday and all while dealing with my infant daughter and it being the day after Christmas. This business was honest, kind, trustworthy, and so much more. I appreciate Brock and his crew very much and will never take my car anywhere else.Service: Auto maintenance

The price was what they quoted. My truck had been running bad for a while and another Auto repair charged me $700 when they broke my gas line to put on a fuel filter that I bought thinking it would help it run better. It did nothing. Tellmans put on a fuel pump for a third of the price and so far it runs great. Will recommend to friends and family

I was quoted $1288 by a shop to replace an axel seal and wheel hub..I called tellmens they quoted me $450 and they got my car in a day early! Highly recommend coming here for any service. Thanks guys

I've taken two different cars to Tellman Auto and they have been wonderful to work with! They are very professional over the phone and in person. My favorite part about them is they are fair in pricing and extremely honest and detailed when answering any questions or explaining the issues. I feel very comfortable with their work and they have been extremely quick to repair.The first vehicle I took needed new front rotors and after calling around to 8 different places, I landed on Telllman for a couple of reasons. He wasn't rude on the phone, explained everything he would do, and his pricing beat all the rest by about $100. Had it done by the time I got off work. His estimate was right on and there were no surprises.The second vehicle I took needed a throttle body repair as well as new lower ball joints, sway bars, end links, and bushings. I threw in an oil change as well since they already had it and it saved me time. Again, they explained everything to me before they did anything and gave me an estimate which ended up being dead on. From my research, I spent about $200 under average and was very happy with their service. They also didn't charge me extra for labor on the sway bars, end links, and bushings since they were already in there for the ball joints.Both cars work great and I am very pleased. Took my car here for an A/C hose replacement, transmission fluid flush & filter change, and radiator replacement initially. After they replaced those as soon as I picked it up it was still leaking coolant. Brought it back in and was then told my water pump is also leaking. They then replaced that. After picking it up following that the check engine light came on. I brought it back in and was told it s fine we ll reset it, that s all it needs. Needless to say a week later this car which is diesel went into limp mode. I opted at this point to just have it towed to Volkswagen as nothing had worked out well at this shop. Volkswagen then showed me where the DPF filter wires had gotten melted as when they reset the light without checking it properly it allowed the DPF filter to overheat. They also showed me that the Freon levels were overfilled causing the A/C to still not work. I also had to have the transmission flushed once again as they failed to seal it properly allowing it to leak. Poor workmanship here, your better off just paying the dealer a little more to do it right the first time.Services: Transmission, A/C installation & repair

Starter went out on car that my 19 year old son drives to school and work. Me not living in Jefferson City and trying to get a car towed and fixed over the phone requires great patience and trust. Ryan was extremely helpful and nice and made the entire process easy. I recommend Tellman Auto Repair for all of your car repairs.

I had a very bad experience with this shop and would never recommend to anyone they had a vehicle I was purchasing for 1 full week never fixed it and supposedly did an inspection but somehow forgot to full the paper out for it so noway would I ever recommend or go there again. S&S auto 100%they are great and fast they have never kept our other vehicles for more than 1 to 2 days. Even after tellmans was told it was seriously important because my other vehicle was old and on her last leg and that I had already paid for it they still did nothing . What a joke. I have mechanics all through my family but they are 3 hrs away and they could have fixed it in 1 hr.

I'm lucky to have found Danny and Ryan through a friend's referral. I've been bringing my car to them for as long as I've lived in Jefferson City. I'm always given prompt and friendly service, and I'm pleased to recommend these men to anyone who needs trusted and honest work on their vehicles.

I have been taking our vehicles here for the last few years. The guys are fantastic - very helpful and they try and keep repair costs down. I have found that they have been able to diagnose and fix auto problems that other mechanics could not figure out which is why I switched to them in the first place. They are also typically lower priced than other mechanic shops in the area.

There is a reason why they have a legacy of old customers, some of them in their 90s. Not a fancy store but very talented staffs and a caring owner. Just got my Mercedes ML 350 repaired. It needed rack and pinion replacement. One of the big name service in this area quoted $3200 for the job. TellMan Auto Repair finished the job under$1k that included wheel balancing and oil refill. This was my fifth visit to them in last 5 years, always returned as a happy customer.

Extremely nice employees. The owner is almost always there. They provide many services at competitive prices. Given me honest estimates and fast service. I do highly recommend this establishment for your car care needs.

Had to have my car towed, and this was the closest place with decent ratings. AAA only tows 1.5 miles for free so didn t have a world of options. They got the car in the afternoon and had it fixed by the next morning. Friendly owner, cost was less than expected.

Best in the town with the most reliable information on the issue. Had my oil changed at Wal-Mart and they left oily shoe prints one the floor mat. Few days later took the car to Tellman's to look at another issue, which they didn't charge me for and they cleaned up the mess on the floor mat that walmart left.

Car has been there several times for the same problem they cannot figure it out takes forever to get the car back. Can I type but with two fingers again it took forever to get out of there to pay. Then on the way home car overheated they promised come out the next day on their day off which they should because the car has been there for longer than it should have been or longer that we have been told. I don't know what happened I've always used this mechanic
