Great service! Took my truck down for a muffler delete, was finished in about a hour. Great sound, only 100 bucks for the job. Was greatly satisfied with the finished job. Would recommend for any kind of muffler work. Best shop in Independence Area. Great staff! Great Prices.

These guys do incredible work in a very timely matter. I 10/10 recommend. I dropped my truck off at 10:30 and Mike called me at 5:00 on the dot. Full 3 exhaust with x pipe and dug out broken manifold bolts. Good customer service, owner treats you like you re one of his and gets you taken care off in a fast professional timely matter. If you need exhaust work take your vehicle here mike will get you taken care of.

Update: I recently went back to this place again today and trust me when i tell you that they do amazing muffler work. I had my exhaust re-done for better performance, and i can tell you how excitedand happy i was after i test drove my car. Dont go anywhere else but here. They will treat you right and give you amazing prices for the phenomenal job they do. .....Can't say enough about how happy I am with the job done at this shop. Everyone here is friendly and communicative. The owner is great dealing with you and talksto you about what you would like to be done. I couldn't be happier with how the end product looks. Really great workmanship as you can see in the photos. I'm definitely going back again to get more work done at their shop. If your looking to get any exhaust work done, don't look any further, trust me you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for the service and finished product.

I was literally about to have a panic attack but I called and Mike said I could come on in. He even gave me directions since I couldn't see the sign in the window (it's in the KC Champ Auto Store building). When I got there he came out immediately and crawled under the car. He even showed me where my catalytic converter had been cut off and stolen. He said he could do it right now. I got the cash from an ATM and him and his mechanic had it on within 40 minutes. My car was running perfectly on my way to work! I'm beyond happy. There are good people in this world and Mike is one of them. Wonderful service, great price, and honest!

These guys are great. Took on a custom job for me on a large truck. Welds look amazing. Pretty sure Mike stayed late to finish mine up. I've had them help me with 2 vehicles now. Great service and work each time. Thanks Mike

10/10 My truck sounds AMAZING. Brought in my 2007 Toyota Tundra with the mufflers and tips I wanted on hand. He crawled under the truck, I explained what I wanted and he gave me a price then and there. Process was easy, job was high quality and it was even done the same day. Owner is a very friendly and down to earth guy. He did my truck himself and it came out just the way I wanted with some GREAT welds. He also welded up the mistake of a previous owner/service for no extra cost to me! I really can t say enough about how happy I am with his work, if you need ANY exhaust work done this is the place to go! I will definitely be returning if I have any further needs as well as recommending him for anybody else who might.

real busy. nice place. affordable prices for hard working people of this area. good inventory. Everyone says they lose thousands and a lot of business due to no instant or couple hours service but they will take good care of you and they been around for a long time. I like the warranty and the quality.

Went to him for a clogged cat. It's been three trips back and still wont admit nor fix the cat he put on that is half of the size as what it's supposed to be. He refuses to make it right. I'm in town with my 4 month old daughter at the children's hospital. We are from ava, MO which is 4 hrs from here. While staying at a hotel near the hospital that the Ronald McDonald house put us up in I got my catilac converter. I was quoted it would cost $1000.00 and no one could get me in right away to fix it. Someone mentioned to take it to JJ Mufflers and that they do excellent work! I called and he got me in right away. He looked at it and said that it would be no where near that amount. He gave a me a very reasonable price and was done in an hour! My car now is so quiet I forget that it was loud when I took it in! Definitely give him a chance to teart you right and get your vehicle fixed! He's very personable and a great person to talk to as well! Thanks again for the help! When I got my truck back from after being stolen Mike helped me with getting everything I needed replace exhaust, mufflers everything for extremely cheap. We had a very stressful experience this past weekend in Kansas City. The catalytic converter was stolen from my wife s vehicle parked in a hotel parking lot across from the Royals and Chiefs stadiums. Was given the contact information to JJ s Mufflers and Mike was very professional and prompt with the service. He and his staff made a very frustrating and stressful experience a little more bearable by going the extra mile to get the part ordered that we needed and get my wife s vehicle fixed. Thank you Mike & staff! Highly recommended!!

I've used JJ's for years when he was on Truman this was my first visit to him on 40 Highway. At his new location. He's always been very fair on his prices and very good work!
