I had the brakes worked on my mom s car had the master cylinder replaced. They drained the brake lines and my wife drove the car afterwards. She did not know any better, but the brakes went all the way to the floor. I did not find out until the next day, my mom took her car back and they gave her a hard time told her that if it was anything that was not there doing she was going to pay. They were rude to her, but they did bleed the brakes and bring them back in order, the work order cost at $100 more than what was quoted, do not go to this place

Too bad there aren t zero stars. Paid a ton of money to have my brakes done. Only to hear some noises. I crawled under there to see what was happening and they forgot to put the caliper pins back in. Thankfully nothing bad happened. Also had them replace an engine gasket as well and there are several bolts missing from my valve cover as well. Hope they plan on replacing all of that.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

DO NOT.. I repeat DO NOT do go this place if your are an elderly woman alone. They have taken advantage of my mom EVERY SINGLE TIME and why she keeps going back I don't know but now it's to much and I'm involved in paying for extra things they were specifically told not to do. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and good luck trying to get an answer with Corporate. When told "This business has had a bad reputation and I'm trying to repair it" is a flat out lie. I will be leaving a bad review on EVERY site I can find about this place warning everyone who does not know much about vehicles to STAY AWAY !!! They will empty your pockets if they could.

I was told one price over the phone, then I come to get my car and it s 100$ more with a supposed coupon added. I should have just called other mechanics to get a cheaper price. And they still couldn't explain why my 4WD light came on and I don't believe they checked everything out. I mentioned the brakes so that's what they say was wrong with my car. Plus the girl employee was rude and made me feel stupid as I tried to save money by using the app which mentioned nothing about applying for a credit card.

Went in to have wheels aligned. I just had a lot of front end parts replaced and needed the alignment. The technician took about 20 minutes to complete the job which was awesome. The customer service representative in the front was very informative and efficient.Would recommend this place for services.

I called to book service for my car and the person I spoke to was extremely rude on the phone, needless to say I didn't even bother to take my vehicle to them. They can definitely do better. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very thorough with initial inspection after repair estimate. Staff was friendly. Repair was done by the time it was promised. Let me pay the bill with 2 different payment cards.

This review has NOTHING to do with work on my car**Aug 23 I came in to get an IDOD for my car. The AC inside the business wasn t working and it was 95 degrees inside the waiting area. I was there 10 minutes and sweat was dripping down my face. The poor cashier was trying to stay professional (and did) but you could see the heat was taking it s toll.I left while my car got inspected. I returned with a bag of ice and some hydration water for the employees. The temp was still rising. It s my understanding they were able to close at 4:00 p.m. Too little to late, the workers were getting sick. It s a miracle no one passed out.SHAME on Firestones management for not immediately closing down until the AC gets fixed.

3/25 Appointment was at 4 , they didn t take the truck till 5. Got done at 6 when they close. We got into the truck and the wheel alignment was completely jacked, worse than before we even took it in. To go straight the wheel was turned to the right. So we turned around and took it right back and the guy had said the person who does it left for the night and it was less than 5 mins of leaving. We had to bring it back the next morning for them to tell us it s gonna take a couple of hours, we then left it to have it fixed. Got a call back saying something else was wrong and that the alignment won t last long before we need another alignment. It s still not completely fixed and still isn t straight. 10/10 don t recommend! UPDATE - TRUCK JUST BROKE DOWNService: Wheel alignment

If I could give this store zero stars I would! The store manager who claims to be the owner of Firestone, (Wyalt Farley) told my dad that it would cost $100 to rotate my tires. Mind you, I have had a Firestone account for more than 10 years. My Jeep is on file with them and to ask for $100 for a tire rotation is all but slapping someone in the face and telling them to smile at you after the fact. My tires have the same five lug nuts as any other car on the road. Never before this have I ever, or would I ever spend $100 on a tire rotation. $20 I can understand, $30 yeah maybe, any more than that is just trying to take advantage of a customer. After talking to the main branch, they informed me that they have a set price on their website that states $19.99. This is for all tires and no "store manager" (Wyalt Farley) can just up and decide prices on a whim. He does not own that store! He is a SIMPLE store manager. It was just by happen sakes that I was busy and had to have my dad take my Jeep up to have this done along with an oil change. Just for this Wyalt dude to send out his clerk to tell my dad that it would cost $100. I will never, and have never spent more than $20 on a rotation. I have told my family and friends not to take their cars to any Firestone for any business. Surprisingly enough, many of them had their own problems conducting business with them.If nothing else, I hope whoever reads this takes the time and at least does not go to the 23rd Independence Missouri location. The store manager is a joke! And if Firestone had any thought on preserving business they would get rid of a unprofessional character such as him.

Independence Firestone is great! Blue Springs, not so much. At Blue Springs I specifically asked for passenger side tie rod be replaced. They did drivers side. Then said they'd do correct one for 10% discount. In their computer it even showed "customer states passenger side....."I then took it to Independence location & they squeezed me in on a busy Saturday due to my family vacation the next day. Love that crew.

Took my car to the Firestone on 291 & 23rd for Missouri State inspection. They found several needed repairs and performed good.

Firestone's teams, "any facility," meets the brands listing on their buildings - *complete autocare!* and from my perspective, that's always been the case! Your people are all *top flight* - honestly ..

100% DUPED! Took car in to have a diagnostic for some vibration issues when the car was driving over 35 mph and were told it was the tires. We paid top dollar for the tires based on the understanding by both parties this was the truth and source of the problem. When we picked the car up the following day after being told it was fully operational and it had been driven to ensure the issue was fixed, we paid an astonishing amount of money and left. Upon leaving and taking a few turns we realized it had in fact NOT been repaired. We returned the vehicle and questioned the front office. At which time were were told the mechanic had left for the day and it would be a few days before it could be readdressed. Monday morning we were told it was not the tires after all but something else entirely. So we were now going to be out an additional $1000 for the true problem. They basically just wanted to sell us tires and now want to charge us for the actual issue. We said we didn t want the tires, we only bought them because we wanted the problem fixed and we were told by their experts that s what it was. We told Firestone they could have the tires back we just wanted our old ones. They laughed. We were serious. So now we are on the hook for $2000 when it should have cost 1/2 of that. Unbelievable. No apology, no refund, no owning up to their mistakes and false statements. Absolutely disgusted with their greed and dishonesty, and unwillingness to make it right financially. How would they feel if they had to spend an extra $1000 on something that wasn t even really wrong and then be told too bad so sad? It s wrong. They did us so wrong. Save your money and find someone who will do the right work for the right price. Firestone is not the place.

This place is crooked. They try to add on things and charge you extra without approval. We took our car in for some minor fixes and no more than 30 minutes after leaving the shop, the head gasket blew. Tried to claim it wasn't their fault and charge us another $500 to fix it. Got on a call with customer service and corporate and they had to fix it due to it being determined it was 100% their fault. After I had to argue with the rude and worthless store manager of this location "Sarah", for weeks, that we weren't paying any more and tell her extra charges and work were not authorized. Took them forever to get us into a rental car. One week turned to two weeks and two weeks turned to almost two months before we finally got out car back. I would avoid this horrible shop and company at all costs.Update: owner commented to reach out. I have multiple times and no response. It's all for show. They don't care about their customers. Save yourself time and hassle and money and don't waste a second here.

My family and I were in Missouri on vacation. The morning we were supposed to leave, my husband noticed a nail in his tire. It was a Sunday so most places were closed, and the places that were open had no time for us.When my husband called Firestone, they told us to come in right away and they would take care of us so we could get home. They were extremely nice to us and our 3 kids. We were seen right away and they had our tire patched in under an hour so we could start our drive home. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Tried to charge me $1200 for a radiator replacement for a "leaking radiator" that you guessed it... Wasn't leaking! Told me I need an oil change when I have 1700 miles to go before I need another one. I mean Firestone has a reputation for being greedy but isn't this a bit excessive?!? Is it possible to leave 0/5 stars???

Brought the car in with obvious sparking issues that I mentioned and showed them upon arrival. I was told on the phone it would cost $270 something to replace the wiring. Later, they found a crack in the coil case which was another $175. Agreed to that as well. Together, with the amounts agreed to should come out to around $445. Go to pick up the car and they re charging me a total of $607 for diagnostics and taxes. How in the world does a diagnostics and tax bring the total up $162, especially when I already showed you exactly what was wrong with the car when I dropped it off to you? You guys need to be up front with your customers and give them the total cost instead of throwing in $162 in hidden fees after the fact. Been a loyal customer for years. I ll make sure I never come back.

Same day service for a tire that blew out on my drive from Colorado to Maryland. Expeditiously fulfilled my request, the worker in the front was super friendly and has the voice of a broadcaster. I was back on the road without so much as a tire light popping up on my dash. 10/10 would recommend it to the neighborhood squirrel.

After getting my car alignment fixed my car car seem to have other issues. Not sure if firestone had anything to do with it but it was for sure not driving the same as when i dropped it off.

I get all my vehicle work done here. The mechanics don't try to rip you off and get you to do unnecessary things as so many other places do. I was just here again for a simple tire rotation and oil change and they took good care of me, as always. I highly recommend them. I've always had pleasant dealings with their staff, and I'd especially single out James as a great representative. I didn't get the names of a couple of other guys but they were all very professional.

Gabe and Allen in Independence Mo are the best. I have a Infiniti QX60. I normally take it to the dealership only for service. But after being treated rudely by the dealership I decided to go to Firestone. They were kind, explained everything so that i could understand. The also gave me a great deal on tires. Thanks Gabe and Allen.

Open until 6 does not mean they will accept oil change service requests until 6 pm. (Just so you know, it wasn t my intention to show up 10 minutes beforehand but it was a terrible day, got a ticket on the way home, and was running late.) But if you are open until 6 pm, you should accept customers until then. Otherwise change your hours to the time you will last accept customers.
