Fairfield motorsports is a huge factor in the kart world, steve and family are great peaple and very knowledgeable, they deserve respect for all they do. Came in to buy some parts for my Honda clone. Barely knew what I needed and the guy helping me knew exactly what it was. Ended up being $40 cheaper than ordering it on Amazon. Very straight forward, very easy

I had some questions about a clutch and the man gave me what would be multiple YouTube videos of tips and tricks in a 10 minute phone call very helpful and cool guy.

Was very straight forward. But not helpful or willing to be helpful. Have a Chinese brand go kart, they have a mini bike of same brand in lobby, and acted like it wasn't worth their time. Told me too go find my own parts and just put it on. I wanted to pay them the $ they wanted to fix it. If you don't have a $2k+ cart don't bother coming here.

I personally love fms karting. Steven and his family are all amazing people and have been here for me and my karts since i got the manco 285running in March of 2016, always willing to answer a BRIEF question. He will not complete your build for you but if you have a genuine problem he will always give you an honest answer and that s exactly this is the only place i go for my karting needs. I ve probably spent $2500 at this store and not a penny was wasted. Never an RMA product to be very honest, great service, great quality and id call it a great business (photos for fun not attention)

Had wife take go kart up there which was 40 min drive for an oil change. They did not want to do an oil change because they said they doubt it starts. Also needed a wheel they didn t have . He was more worried about getting rim they did not have. So wife brought it back home same day. First thing I did was try and start it and fired right up . So then I found wheel online. And still needed an oil change. Wish he would of did it anyways and not worried if it started or not. So now that I have wheels I have to figure out oil change because I m not driving back up there . Wish they would of just did oil change how I asked in first place...

Go kart parts can be hard to find locally.Specially if it's an older kart that needs parts . These guys are ok , could be a little friendlier. But if you worked in this field and had every kid in KC calling you with stupid questions...I could see how it would wear you down. It's best to just take the kart to them and show them what you need. Update: I recently made a purchase from this place . They are pretty good guys !Must have walked in on a bad day last visit.
