I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a 37000 mile maintenance that I received a reminder about via mail. The mailer did not include an approximate price, just a list of what needed to be done.I arrived and had to wait almost 10 minutes to actually drop my car off. I get in and am quoted over $500 for what I thought was going to be an oil change. After I called my husband to have the advisor explain to him why it was so much, one of the service items was dropped.I assumed they'd know I'd be waiting in their waiting area since I had to call my husband to settle on the price. I was not offered a loaner or anything else. They didn't say how long it would take so I assumed an oil change and flushing the engine would take 2 hours?After 3.5 hours I let them know I had another appointment to be at, and my car was still not done and needed another 30 min. They said they fell behind that morning. Meanwhile I watched one guy get his car inspected and failed 3 different times and over a dozen other customers get their cars serviced in a timely manner. What is the point in making an appointment? And to think: they wanted to do additional things to my car and charge me over $500 to wait for how long?

Taylor was awful. No communication. Ignored calls. I d leave messages and he d return them 3 days later and didn t address my messages. Was told my engine needed to be replaced by Dahmer and two other shops. They ended up only replacing a couple parts, and then said those parts were only warrantied. Do not go here. Molle in Blue Springs is much better.

They were unable to fix my car and nearly had it long enough that I would have to pay for the loaner, when I probably could have gotten my car back the day before. Also, if I'd have known ahead of time that they also couldn't fix the tailgate problem and I needed to take it to a different dealer that can, I would have just made my appointment with them to begin with. The uncertainty related to how long it's going to take to get the part to fix the issue is also very disheartening.

Absolute worst service. I made an appointment for an oil change and when I showed up they said it would be 2.5 hours so I rescheduled. Came to the next appointment they took my keys and didn t touch my car for over an hour. I wouldn t usually get my oil changes done here but the finance person hassled me for over thirty minutes to buy a warranty that requires I have the maintenance done at the dealership. This is the first car I ve purchased here. Terrible experience so far.

I called on a Monday afternoon hoping to get my oil changed. I asked if they were really busy, Cody assured me they could fit me in before closing at 6pm. I arrived at 3:10 pm and they took my vehicle right in. I was treated with courtesy and respect every time I have taken my vehicle in. Their waiting room is comfortable and they took care of me very quickly. The one thing that really stands out is their service mechanics are Union and I appreciate that very much. Thank you Machinists for doing such a quality service for your customers. Thank you Cable Dahmer.

Last fall, my fiance was a single mother of 3 little girls who had her car through cable Dahmer. She was told by the mechanic/tech there that due to what she was describing - it sounded like the knuckles were going out of her rear end but she should wait till it got really bad and loud so that when the car was driven by an employee they would definitely hear it and not dismiss it. She was then informed that she should make sure to do it while it was under warranty because it was an expensive repair. She waited. Made an appointment because it now sounds as if the rear end is coming apart at times. We take the car in on Thursday. Tell Oscar what is going on and verify the car is under warranty. Oscar verified yes it is under warranty. Call on Friday it still had not been test drove. Oscar says the car won't be test drove until Monday because they are a week behind???? WHY DID THEY SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO BRINGVTHE CAR IN IF THEY ARE A WEEK BEHIND. Oscar offered a loaner until Monday. We needed some items out of the car, the car was brought to us. GUESS WHAT THE CAR WAS JUST TEST DROVE. THE POPPING AND BANGING HAPPENS OFTEN ENOUGH THAT WOULD HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE TEST DRIVE. Again, we verified the warranty while we were there on Friday. We drive away with the loaner. Get a text on Monday informing that the knuckles are indeed bad, and yes, it is an expensive fix, but unfortunately, it isn't covered by the warranty. WHY IN THE WORLD DID WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH WITH ALL THAT????? WAS A SINGLE MOTHER OF 3 TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF? IS SHE BEING LIED TO BECAUSE THEYBARE SO FAR BEHIND? SHE COULD HAVE BEEN SAVING THE MONEYBTO HAVE THE REPAIRS DONE BY NOW, BUT SHE HAS HAD A CARROT (WARRANTY) DANGLED IN HER FACE MULTIPLE TIMES. IS THIS A COMMON CABLE DAHMER TAC TIC, IS THIS TRAINED OR ARE HEADS TURNED WHEN CUSTOMERS ARE LEAD ASTRAY? A lot of wasted time having to leave work multiple times. Waiting to hear back from someone etc. Terrible customer experience! Very disappointing!

I have a 2020 Impala with Stabil-track installed. Even though many other people online have complained about the same issues my car is experiencing because of that technology, Chevrolet won't acknowledge there is a problem with that system.At unexplained moments, the digital and analog gauges on the driver's panel will suddenly go haywire. The RPMs and speedometer will flip-flop from zero to 120, even though I'm driving on the highway. Less often it has occurred on a residential road.We took it in 3 times for this problem. The last time it was there for a month! Cable Dahmer even called in an "expert." They drove the car; it wouldn't act up for them. Therefore, we had to pay over $400 for the service (I say that lightly) of them trying to find the problem. The warranty wouldn't cover the charge, because THEY couldn't find anything wrong with it. Just because, they can't find it doesn't mean there's not a problem! We get in our beautiful car every day with the check engine light coming on and staying on. Because of this, we will never be able to tell if another issue develops with the car before it's too late!There is a fix for the issue we discovered online: bring the car to a stop; turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, as far as it will go; then, do the same to the right; adjust the steering wheel back to center position. This seems to fix the issue temporarily until it happens again.

From the purchase to service it has not been a good experience on numerous occasions. If you make an appointment for oil change when you show up you may be turned away or hours behind d. Breaks are going at 14,000 miles. They just had vehicle in at 10,000 miles. Not only do they want me to pay part when there are notices everywhere about pads wearing early they won't call me back since 8:30 am morning and it'sThursday!!

Would give negative stars if I could- the service department takes forever, gives you zero feedback- I have to call them after days of having my vehicle. This is the second time this month- I had my vehicle towed on a Wednesday for my 'appointment time' , they didn't even pull the vehicle for 1 week to look at it. Then took another 3 days to figure out the issue. I pick it up, take it home and the check engine comes on again before getting home- I'm then told to bring it in Monday night or Tuesday morning and they'd be looking at my vehicle on Tuesday- its now Friday afternoon. I of course had to call again because I've been given zero information- And I'm told that it hasn't even been looked at! When I was told it would be Tuesday. The only information I am given is 'well there is just one guy who can look at diesel's'. Worst customer service by far. I would never recommend anyone to go here ever

Took my 2019 Suburban in because the front a/c quit working. After it sat there for a week they finally got around to it. Was told the rear a/c lines were leaking and it had misfire on cylinder 5. They said the plug was fouled and the wire was burnt. A/C was covered by warranty but they wanted to replace the plugs and wires to see if that fixes the misfire. $1400 was what they wanted to charge me. Told them to fix the a/c and I will deal with the misfire. A week and a half later finally get my vehicle back and take it to my mechanic. He saw no codes for a misfire and all plugs and wires were in good condition. He replaced them for $470. Never going back to them again.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

Great customer service. They make sure to check if your warranty is still valid. I recently had a bad tire, and the warranty was still applicable. Great place, and a customer for over 20yrs. Datz Loyalty!

Do not purchase a vehicle from Cable Dahmer on Noland Rd.We purchased two 2022- Chevy 2500 in April of 2022 and August 2022. Spent over $120k in 6 months.... only to have the worst customer service beyond SO many other issues.. I have had more problems out of mine than the truck is worth! I should have known not to mess woth this dealer after the incident a few years back! Nothing has changed, Marty Dahmer just keeps lining his pockets without a care in the world. Don't shop here, don't go here for service, just leave this crummy dealership alone!!!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Only reason i use them is to keep the warranty current. Now they are charging you an additional 3% when you pay for your service. Went in to pick up my truck after the service and waited over 25 minutes for them to bring my truck to me. When I went to get it it was not there because they parked it in a different location then what they told me.

My dad and I dropped off his Malibu for service on a faulty shifter and while the vehicle was at the dealership something impacted the windshield. The service manager said the cameras don't show anything hitting my dad's car and it's not their fault. My dad's car definitely didn't have a huge crack in the windshield before service. I am disappointed with the service manager here and definitely do not like the employee that damaged my dad's car and told no one.Service: Transmission

Took my car in for service due to service engine light. Expressed that there may also be a possible oil leak. Was assured that an oil leak would have been caught during the inspection or during the repair of a vacuum leak associated with the service engine light.Get the car home, notice drips of oil on my driveway again... look underneath the car to see the bottom of the car coated in oil. After I noticed a 100% certain oil leak, I called to ask what is checked during the "inspection", and was told fluid levels, suspension etc is checked. If the fluid levels HAD been checked, they would have noticed low oil... Definitely disappointed...Taking it in once more to get the oil leak fixed, and if I am not VERY impressed with how they handle the situation, I will most certainly be taking my business elsewhere.I'm unsure if all of this has to do with the fact I am a woman, and auto service is notoriously prejudice of women.

Way overpriced on repairs. Dishonest and rude service department. Had my vehicle for two days just to look at the brakes. We had to call them several times to find out what they had found out just to be told they hadn t looked at it yet. I have bought several vehicles from them and had them serviced over the years. Service department has always been this way. I had hoped it would get better but it never has. I will not ever buy nor take a vehicle for service with them again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Terrible wait times. Came in a few days ago for an oil change but with no appointment and they said that it would take 2 hours. So I made an appointment for today and it s been an hour and a half. Still haven t gotten my car. If they re not prioritizing appointments what s the point of them? The wait is just the same and they urge you to come in with an appointment. The KC Chevrolet service center is faster and more organized. They re running around here like they don t know what they re doing and too many guys just standing around and talking in the back.Service: Oil change

Typical dealership, go in for oil change which by the way I had a 8am appt and they say I need to service this and that. And they forget money is tight for everyone; so okay I got to call my husband so I don't know if I got pushed to the back or if some are new and can't quite get the hang of it. All done at NOON because they had so much work to do on it (oil change, change fuel filter and air filters). Didn't even reset computer on fuel filter. Got charged for oil change when I have maintenance plan. Unhappy.

Went in for an oil change that I scheduled at the last minute this morning and they were able to get me in the same day. It was relatively fast for as many cars as they had in the service bay, it took about an hour altogether.(I opted to wait until the next oil change for tire rotation) Before returning my keys they aired my tires back up to optimal PSI, and placed a new sticker in the corner of the windshield to notify us of when to bring it back for the next oil change. I love the service we receive each time we go to Cable Dahmer.

Made an appointment for a certain time and was told it would be 2 hours when I showed up for the scheduled appointment time. I understand they were busy, but schedule the appointments accordingly. Our time is just as important as yours. I would expect to wait 2 hours as a walk in, but not an appoint that was scheduled a week before.It s sad that after over 9 years of taking my car there, I now have to go somewhere else.
