Only reason they got one star was so I could leave a review. Take your car here at your own risk they do not fix your car they take your money and rig it to appear to be fixed so they can get paid. The owner Greg is a liar and he is very unprofessional and rude. Money hungry is the best way to describe him to say the very least. When he doesn t get his way or you question the service that was done to your car he argues with you then hangs up in your face. Then proceeds to ignore your calls. He also finds other things to fix on your car that doesn t need to be fix and then fixes it without your consent and charges your after the fact. 10/10 definitely wouldn t recommend. It s sad that you would do a pregnant woman this way but this is the world we live in. Full of scam artists.

I needed to get my engine thermostat fixed to drive home for the Holidays, and had no luck finding a repair shop with enough time. The guys at 40 Hwy Autocare Center LLC were the only ones willing to even take a look at my car on such short notice. They were so helpful, answered any and all of my questions, and they even stayed after hours to complete the repairs. I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone who s car needs some TLC!

My car had been broken into. Passenger window smashed in. Called for a replacement and a tint job.They say they can do tinting. They cannot.They have it sent out to Gregs cousin who is extremely unprofessional, and causes extreme delays on repairs. Dropped it off on a Saturday first was told Friday, then Saturday, then Monday... and Tuesday we had to threaten to get the cops involved because the service was still not done and we needed the car back. The car wasn't returned to us until almost the very end of the business day. 5:20 ish pm as late as possibleAs an extra petty thing, I was told my car would be vacuumed out of all the broken glass ON THE FIRST DELAYED DAY (Friday)... yet when I picked my vehicle up days later broken glass was still littering the seats and floorboards.So. After a week and a few days of being in Gregs "care"... I've gotta take my vehicle to the dealership like I should have done in the first place to fix the work I payed Greg to do*Update and Edit*Greg left his credit card in my vehicle that he worked on. I was very kind and returned it to him the day after I picked up my vehicle. Upon my arrival, he asks if I had also found a set of keys. No sir. I have not found anyone else's car keys in my vehicle. Then Greg has the audacity to try and haggle with me on a once star review. No sir. This was not a 3 star experience. It might have been if I had not been lied to and strung along for days on end.

I worked there for 2 weeks all 14 days and from 9 to 9 at night sometimes 10 and Greg the owner only paid me 300 dollars. His equipment don't work half the time and his "lead mechanic" Loyd never comes to work and when he does he brings a 12 pack and drinks on the job. Place is unsafe and he's never getting jobs done when he says. Simply because HE DONT HAVE A DECENT MECHANIC IN THE SHOP. And he can't afford to pay one

I want to say Greg has been spectacular when it comes to the needs of service. He understands when I've explained the needs of what I needed on the two times he has fixed my vehicle. Reasonable with prices and getting the job done is what I like. I had an emergency matter and his shop fixed my wheel baring, and also my valve Gasket cover.! But I'll be going back for more work to be done on my 07 Dodge Caliber . The pictures is of the old wheel baring...

Greg and Lloyd are amazing they are some fast paced hard working men. I m so grateful for them, my car needed repairs and they fixed in shorts notice time as well as came to my house to do additional repairs. They are fair on pricing and very friendly. I ve had a few vehicles serviced by Greg and his team. Most reason was the cooling system on my BMW e46. Radiator, water pump, thermostat. First, I have to say that Greg is awesome! Very professional over phone and in person.Second, not only were they flexible with my schedule but they were quick and thorough.Upon pickup they followed my partner home so that we did not have to leave a vehicle there for pick up later when I got off work.I highly recommend 40 HWY Autocare Center LLC! We took our son's car in and paid them, in advance, last Tuesday (8/23/2022) as of today, Friday (9/2/2022) they have not finished the car, assured us it would be done in 2 days and then regularly promising on days to follow it would be completed. They have lied to us telling us they had already replaced the water pump but I actually watched the mechanic do it last night before he promised he would stay and finish the work on to get the same results, smoke blown up our butts and no completed vehicle. DO NOT use this company as they are not reliable.Since I can't respond to your rebuttal, I will state it here. We didn't give you a deadline, you said that it would be done by last Thursday and this is the first I have heard about the water pump leaking after you installed the new one. Don't act like we pushed you into something, as a business owner, you shouldn't be pushing one customer ahead of another, meaning you shouldn't have told us you could get in done in two days when you couldn't. You got taken to the cleaners! That is what a mechanic friend of mine told when I described my recent experience at 40 Hwy Autocare Center in Independence, MO.Here is what happened. While staying at a nearby hotel, the Catalytic Converter on my car was stolen during the night while it was in the parking lot. It was not drivable and wouldn t even start. I had it towed to 40 Hwy Autocare. The person in charge, Greg Evans, said they did not have the parts available to fix it, but they could install a straight pipe to get me on the road. The pipe they installed was an old and used pipe full of oxidation. My mechanic here at home said the welding job was very poor, which is why the car made so much noise even after it was fixed.40 Hwy Autocare Center does not accept credit or debit cards. We were not informed of this until after the work was performed. I would not take my car to this place again. I think I was charged twice what I should have been charged in this situation.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

Very helpful on a Saturday afternoon. Closing time was 2pm, I called 12:30. They got parts and fixed by evening, the alternator, battery, ac clutch bearing noise at a reasonable price.

Greg was very helpful. I came in confused on why my car was shaking and jerking and both of the mechanics figured out the issue and were able to get it under control until it could be fully solved. I used this establishment a few days ago for a oil change,brakes, and rotors replacement and they we're very professional and affordable. At first stop I thought they were top shelf. But time after time, I start having catespofic problems and parts started adding up and my truck still didn't run. Their labor charges were unrealistic and $60.00 to change a $7.00 thermostat was the straw the broke the camel's back.Avoid if you can and find a real professional that will appreciate your business.
