There was problem at the DMV after I got my safety inspection and emissions done. They told me it wasn't in the GVIP system and I needed to go back where I got my services done. I told Ryan and he was on it everything got resolved very quickly and was able to go back up there with out waiting and get my plates and title transfer taken care of. I highly recommend this shop and I will be back. Thanks for the help Ryan!

These guys have been working on our vehicles for years excellent mechanics excellent service reasonable price and most importantly really good people. They have even done a couple of emergency house calls We ve used many mechanics over the years and Ryan and Jeff never try to over sell us on stuff we don t need. First time I met Ryan I had an old Ford expedition needed some work to it and not a lot of money. I asked him if he could make a shortcut . And he says can t do that but you can pay me for the parts and we ll work out the rest later. He probably doesn t even remember this. That right then and there integrity and kindness to help a brother out. Fortunately I was able to pay them in full when the job is done. Needed to get my AC charged for a trip to see my sister. He was able to get me in quickly and get the AC charged for me. He was polite and answered any questions I had. The price was fair and not upcharged like your bigger chain locations. He also did not try to sell me on other services that I did not need. I had an oil leak and a gas lin rupture. I took my car in and they had it fixed in exactly a week. The prices were fair and they even took the time to find the lowest prices for the parts. The only problem that I had was having to call them for updates instead of them calling me, however they were very easy to talk to on the phone and in person and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand and answered all of my questions directly. Thank you L&S.

Our experience at L & S unfortunately was not a good one. We took our Cr-v in last Wednesday to have a front cv axle replaced for $250. Ryan(the owner) had trouble getting it off and took over 24 hrs to do so. After not hearing anything for a day we called a couple times for him to answer the phone with "is it an emergency?". He told us that he thought the other cv axle was bad and was waiting on someone to drive it and see. That they would be there at 6:30pm and to call back then. We did the other person was still not there he said to call back in 30 mins. By that time it still hadn't been test driven. By 8:00pm it was being driven but he needed another 30 mins. We called again at about 8:50pm. He said the other (left) cv axle was bad and it was gonna cost $600 for everything and he needed a couple hours to finish it. We informed him we usually go to bed around this time bc my husband gets up at 3am for work. He asked if we really wanted the car tonight. We said if he could get it done yes as it's our only running vehicle. He said he could, he just needed a couple hours. At 11:00pm he still wasn't done but asked my husband to send him a picture of his debit card as payment. My husband didn't feel comfortable with this but would have given him the numbers to manually enter it. So he could leave the keys in the car and my husband could pick it up since it was late. After a short and odd exchange they got off the phone and we assumed he was still working on it. At 1am we called and he had stopped working on it in the middle of fixing the cv axle. After another conversation he finished working on it at 2:20am to call us back and let us know that he was done. My husband went to get it to realize he had been drunk while working on the vehicle. On Saturday we took the car to get an alignment at dobbs to be told the front camberbolts were too tight. They needed to be torched off and replaced. In total this has cost us over $800 to get 2 front cv axles replaced.

We were traveling through Missouri when our brakes began to fail. Called L&S and they took us right in, got the parts, made the repairs, and had us back on the road in less than 4 hours. These guys know thier craft and thankfully don't charge an arm and a leg for services. I tell literally everyone about this shop because any time I've taken my car in they have gone above and beyond for me be it replacing a windshield wiper to helping me fix my tricky ac problem they have always been honest, kind, and all around good folks. Take your car here if you need a fair honest shop. You won't regret it.

It seems to be a good, honest shop. Very fair on pricing and Jeff will only recommend the services you actually need.Update:They are a good diagnostic and repair shop but not so great with tires. I dropped my truck off to have 1 tire put on and it took 3 days to get done. When I got it back I realized they didn't balance the tire and they overinflated it to 50psi instead of the recommended 35psi and didn't bother to check the pressure of the other tires.

The AC on my truck had been out for a bit, and driving back home from Missouri into the smoky west without it would have made for some very suck family members. They were fast, friendly, and suggested some ways I could save some money, too. Great shop, absolutely happy. Anytime I visit my in-laws and need a shop, they will be my go-to.

Rarely post reviews but I can t recommend L&S enough. Needed a clutch replacement and was quoted $1100 from a few other places including a car dealership I work for. Was told I d pay $594 for the clutch replacement and payed not a penny more. Had my car finished in 2 days and we re very professional and helpful. Definitely my go to mechanic from now on!

Ryan has worked on 2 of our vehicles and has always been right on what the problem is. He doesn t just guess. His prices are definitely fair and he always communicates with you on what is going on. I highly recommend L&S Automotive! You will not be disappointed if you go there.

Very pleased with this company! My car broke down about a mile away early in the morning on my way to work. The owner came out to help me half an hour before his shop opened. Very upfront and honest. Quoted me and also is working with me so I can still be able to get to work. They fixed my car, kept me up to date on the repairs, and made this stressful time less stressful. They even dropped me off and picked me back up when car was completed. Any issues in the future, I know who will be getting my business.

It will never be my desire to take any vehicle I own anywhere but to L & S Automotive. They are the nicest, most honest bunch ever. There have been instances in the past where I get in my car and something is amiss. I just drive over to L & S and they help me even without an appointment. It feels so good to have a place to take my vehicle and feel confident. L & S have great customer service and they always give options for needed or suggested services. I always leave satisfied with the service and maintenance that I receive.
