I trust these guys completely! Nathan, Bryan, and Sarah are awesome and always take great care of my vehicles quickly, and knowledgeably and patiently answer all of my many questions! As a female who knows nothing at all about cars, i always have to be a little concerned a mechanic may try to take advantage of my automotive ignorance. Gary's makes sure you are only getting what needs to be done,done, doesn't try to upsell you, and even goes out of their way to save you money wherever they can. Your car is in the best of hands at Gary's, If I could givethem 10 stars I would!!

I paid almost 10k for a transmission job. Even though I had other shops that would do it for 4k. (I still let work on my vehicle) When I picked my car up. I had an engine light on with 2 new codes. Took the car back to the shop and picked the car back up a second time after I was told that they corrected the problem with my fuel tank. Drove the car for 50 miles to get my emissions ready and the engine light came back on. Had to spend another 1k at a muffler shop for a catalytic converter. My car is registered. I feel like the job couldn't been cheaper but I'm a very thankful person and God see everything. Thanks for your service.

Best auto service in St. Louis. Technicians are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Front desk individuals are personable and have outstanding knowledge of everything auto related. We live an hour away but wouldn't even consider taking our vehicles anywhere else. Gary, Nate, Bryan, Sarah, and the rest of the team are the absolute best in the business. Gary's Auto Service was very good, we were getting a vehicle inspection done for a car I was considering buying and they helped us realize that it was not a very good car. They were very professional and detailed which was appreciated.

Wonderful staff who know what they are doing. They take great care of my car and while they make recommendations, they never try to upsell or overcharge for random repairs. I'm so glad we found Gary's Auto Service!

Small but very professional and accommodating. I love small Mom and Pop businesses. I didn't have a ride and the owner picked me. Free of charge. Now that service!! Rates are affordable

If you're looking for an honest auto repair shop, Gary's is the one. I've had two instances with my vehicles, and with each one, they were honest and made sure I fully understood what my issues were. They took very good care of me by providing an Uber to and from my home. I highly recommend this local business.

I take my car here for everything! They re honest and fair every time and actually care about their customers. After the dealership gave me some questionable recommendations, I took my car straight to Gary s and Nate helped me understand what was actually wrong with my car and what was incorrect information from the dealership. I really appreciate how friendly everyone is any time I call with a question or come in. They re the best!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Horrible service. I called a week ahead of time to get my head lights replaced. They told me they will have them in stock. I get here in my appointment day. Gary I assume had me standing there for 20 plus minutes looking in his system for lights for my car. Told me he has to order them, told me I won t be done by the time I needed to me gone when I made the appointment. Then refused services when I got upset asking why the lights wasn t ordered when I made the appointment, like I was told it would be. This hole in the wall shop is a joke and doesn t conduct business professionally. On top of their prices being the same as a big chain brand. Ha not worth it

The dealership maintenance program ended on my car so I came to Gary's to get an oil change and a fuel injector cleaning. Was happy with the service but noticed a vibration coming from what I thought was the gas pedal. Brought it back up there after a couple of days and Nate went for a ride with me. We both heard the noise again and he was on it. He had a tech ride with him, and within 15 minutes had the problem resolved. I am super pleased with the level of service I received at Gary's Auto Service.Thanks again!

They went above and beyond to assist me with my vehicle. The communication was excellent, quotes were given in a timely manner, and they shuttled me to and from my house. Gary's did a great job on sealing all of the leaks on my 1977 350 small block engine. It was an engine-out effort. I have driven the car on 2 long trips of over an hour each since the repairs were completed. Not a leak! The job took a few extra parts to fix it right - water pump, oil pressure sending unit and a distributor cap and rotor. Then the windshield wiper motor jumped into the list of replacement parts. The engine was done (removed, sealed, and reinstalled) in 2 days. It was a way over the top effort. And very successful. Thanks to Mike, Kenny and Nathan and all the crew at Gary's.

For years I've trusted Gary's auto they have been entrusted with 3 of my vehicles and all 3 of my daughters vehicles. I highly recommend this auto shop. For they have never let me or my family down

I've had both of my cars service recently at this place they are very professional courteous and they do a great job of explaining and going over the work that you may neednormal maintenance and prioritize things to make it affordable for you !! Nate it's an excellent service advisor!!! I highly recommend them !!

Always top-notch service, clear and consistent communication, friendly and inviting atmosphere. They've solved every issue car has had from major to routine repairs, both in a timely and affordable manner. For big repairs, they have quoted me some large numbers, but my final bill is always lower than what they quote - no experience in price-gouging. Simple, straightforward, and honest repairmen. You can't ask for better service - take your car here, it will be in good hands.
