Rebuilt my classic Ford transmission, that no one else wanted to do.Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to visit with.They kept it a few days extra to make sure everything was working right before I drove it home.No issues so far and I will use them for any other rebuilds I need.Thanks guys

If there was no stars that would be my choice! Took my 2016 Traverse in. He put in a used transmission from low mileage vehicle due to strike and no parts available. Did not fix the problem. And I was out $2500 Suggested I get computer analysis which I did and it showed no issues. Took to a different transmission shop and they asked me a couple questions about what had been done. Called Perkins and he was very rude and said he didn't talk to the competition, who are in another town. I broke down crying due to my husband being in the hospital and I have three grandchildren living with me whose dad was just deployed four days ago for a year. He was totally rude Said they could figure it out and he hung up on me.

Their business out there was very helpful in getting my sons transmission replaced while he was in school in Nevada mo.at the Missouri welding Institute. Having to work thru this lil bump on road with me at home on tennessee, Charles was very helpful. Very quick in getting him back on road.thanks very much for your help.

Best transmission shop around had no issues with my son's gmc sonoma pickup that was rebuilt I would recommend anyone that needs a transmission rebuild to use Perkins transmission besides Barbara Underwood because there's no way she was treated that away I just don't believe that knowing Perkins for over 30 years that her story even real she must of took her junk to another shop! Charles and harold don't treat customers like that. Very pleased with everything they done for me

We took my trail blazer to Perkins Transmission to have the transmission rebuilt. There sign says, "satisfaction guarantee." Well I will never take another vehicle to this place of business. We went and picked up the trail blazer and on the way home my husband notice the cruise was not working. So he called them when we got back to Nevada which is where we live, they said it was nothing they had done. So the next morning my husband got up and drove the trail blazer and noticed the little light under the D when in drive was not working. So he checked the other gears. It only Worked on park, reverse and neutral..not on drive, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear. So he called them back because it all was working when we took it to them. again Mr. Perkins said it was nothing they had done. So my husband done research on the internet and seen it was a sensor on the transmission. So my son who is a mechanic graduate from Pitt State, who lives in Overland Park KS came home and my husband told him about it and so they went out and crawled under the trail blazer and was looking at it. They then noticed that the brake lines were left dangling down and that Perkins Transmission had busted the oil pan. So my husband came in and called him and told him what they had found. He said it was nothing they had done....AGAIN......this was not like this when we took it over their to them...so Perkins told us to bring it back and they would get it fixed...we took it back and they did not fix the busted oil pan....after they said they would get it fixed and they said it was a new shiny clean break. So we are gonna take further action...And unless you want more expenses to pay..stay away from Perkins Transmission...I am just grateful God was watching out for us and we found the brake lines before they broke...we have our grand baby with us allot. The only reason I gave them a 1 star is because it would not let me post it until I did. This mess cost us $1800...BEWARE

I went automotive inivations in neveda, and it just didn't work it kept on not going in reverse, perkins transmission fixed it cheap and at very high quality workmanship, I never had a problem with it sence

This guy is a very smart young man he works on a few cars and truck for Don's auto sales he is quick and does a great job and has a great sense of humor .and he listen that is a plus in my book .
