We ALWAYS choose to go to the Dexter License Bureau instead of driving to our local 1. The 1 at Dexter is so fast & so friendly! You can also trust them to get the job done right the 1st time! Anytime we have questions we call them. We go to them quite a bit. Thank you Dexter License Bureau for being someone we can depend upon each and every time!

Everyone I know tells me to avoid this DMV. They will ask for documents that other DMVs don't need in order to help you. I recommend Sikeston DMV instead. Dexter DMV will turn you away and demand documents that aren't necessary.

I would have left a zero star review if possible. The one lady that got my vehicle licensed did a fantastic job. There was another lady that did a professional job but had to wait almost an hour just for me to get my license. One of the girls there was also not wearing any shoes and clearly seemed to not know what she was doing. I hope the dmv will take this review not as a negative but as a way to improve there business.

I actually like the people here for the most part. But this time I came in and one woman complained in front of everyone that "she just wanted to go home" stomped around and asked her customer "why did he make her job difficult". The number taker wasn't working either and they told us to figure out what order to go in ..how are you going to do it in such a tense environment like the DMV. People were just cutting in front of each other and nothing was going to be done.."snooze you lose" environment. It was kinda scary.

They were absolutely rude. We came in 10 mins before closing because of work.. and they were talking about how we had all day to come in. If you don t want to do the job you signed up for then quit. The rude comments were unnecessary never coming back here again

Went in for a driver's license. The lady who was helping me got a phone call in the middle of my application and said her son got sick at school and had to leave. But it probably wasn't true. She had been texting someone a lot while working and had them call her so she could leave work. She was not friendly at all. No one else there can do licenses. And she refused to finish my license before leaving. Why is she on her phone at work? Why is she texting so much at work. She didn't even call me up to the window for a few minutes because she was texting on her phone. She was really upset about something. But not her son. Horrible customer service.

I took my son to get his car legal. We went in and got our number. There were 2 or 3 people doing nothing. They never called a number or asked if they could help anyone. After sitting there for about thirty minutes and no body being helped except the people needing license someone walks right in with their stuff and gets help. So after she left I went up and asked if she could help us. She acted like we were a bother to her and she didn't want to help us. Hopefully tomorrow will be better because we have to go back because I forgot to get his waver and she never even asked to call them to get it like they normally do. They used to be really nice I don't know what happened.

Was anyone else deprived of the right to vote? I must have been right behind the other 1 star poster. The girl working the counter was sitting there texting back and forth while she was supposed to be helping people with licenses. Then all of the sudden she gets a magic phone call requiring her to leave for "her son". She answered the phone and said hello, and then without saying anything else she pretends to freak out and have to leave right away.My kids school always calls and asks if I'm so and so. Then they tell me what's going on. I don't just say "hello" and they immediately start telling me about my kid's. The girl was a better actress than she was a dmv clerk I guess.Typical government efficiency. No one else at the LICENSE BUREAU can do licenses apparently, so when she left we were all screwed and told to go wait at another DMV 40 miles away instead.Seriously this Office should be shut down just based on the incompetent staff alone. I bet they planned this so it would deprive us off the ability to vote. More crooked government workers crapping on citizen tax payers.

Took my son to get his license renewed bc it had expired and we were able to walk right in and get waited on immediately. The lady who helped him was so friendly and joked around with him. We didn t have to stay long but she made the visit great! Thanks

If you show up prepared and patient they are more than willing to help. If you walk in unprepared with an attitude not so much

Extremely rude despite all of the people trying to be friendly with them. I get that you're a "monopoly" in the area but that doesn't mean you have to act as awful as you do.

They told me the Missouri Department of Transportation government website was wrong. They were wrong. They wanted the title to a car I'd traded in. That's impossible. I went to Poplar Bluff and was in and out in 5 minutes. I'm sure nice people work at the Dexter license bureau, but they're fairly incompetent.

They were very rude did not smile at all there was one lady in there that smiled first time I had been there in years but I will continue to leave go back to chaffee

While attempting to license our car we brought from out of state, I faced road blocks and extreme frustration at another license bureau. A friend suggested that I go to Dexter license bureau. At Dexter DMV, Jasmine and Sarah made a quick telephone call and resolve the issue in less than five minutes. The employees at the other spent three weeks refusing to help.

Horrible, had to make two trips up there to get the Real ID and she still copied my address wrong so now I'll have to deal with that. Really how stupid are you if you can't copy something sitting right in front of you??? It's also rude to spend endless minutes discussing your and your husband's health problems when you have a line of people waiting!

My granddaughter took her driving test and she was do the final step . The lady that was helping her was very kind and helpful. It was not a long wait we were in out.

Depending on the time of day and month you go it can either go smoothly or be hectic. For the most part staff is pretty friendly.

Always something when trying to title stuff here. Save yourself the frustration and go to Malden or chaffee
