I came in today for a state safety and emissions test. There was some communication error because they were under the impression I was there to drop off and would pick up at the end of the day. I was thinking I would wait on it. Paul was able to get me in right away and I was back home in an hour and everything passed! This place is awesome! Everyone at the front desk is super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this place.

I live in NC, but had to leave a review after my mom called me because she was so happy with the service she received there. She fully expected an expensive bill, so she couldn't believe her bill was only $77. Thank you all for taking great care of her and helping my parents feel confident in a mechanic for the first time in a long time.

I really do like Len's, I use them for any jobs I can't tackle myself and they are consistently honest and fair in their diagnostic practices. They don't gouge me and try to sell unnecessary services, unlike the dealership who tried to sell me on all new brakes, tires, new brake fluid, radiator flush, etc. Etc...

I dropped my car off at Lens for multiple repairs / general maintenance, at substantial cost. After one full week of delays and spotty communication, I finally received notification the service work was complete and my car was ready for pick up. Upon payment and receipt of the vehicle, it was immediately clear 2 of the repairs I paid for were not completed. I immediately returned to Lens to inquire, where I was informed that no one bothered to verify the repair work actually fixed the issues (no quality control). I subsequently spoke to the co-owner to provide feedback. He was largely indifferent. While he mentioned there was opportunity to have done things differently, he offered no apology for the sloppy mis-managed repair work, and was not interested in making things right. He basically stated Lens would be happy to complete the 2 failed repairs at significant additional time and cost to me. Be wise, do not waste your time or money at Lens. They are a volume shop focused only on how much money they can generate, with little (or no) emphasis on quality and customer service. There are many better repair shops in town that are much more professional, competent, and value the business and loyalty of a good customer.

I've been here a couple of times before they moved and once at the new location.Their prices seem fair, and they always seem polite and honest.This last time, I had rear brakes and rotors replaced and a driver window repaired for my wife's van. Total for parts and labor was about 600 each (~1150 total).

They replaced out engine and now take care of all the maintenance on our work vehicle. They are seriously so great to work with and do trustworthy excellent quality service. Generally been good to work with. Last 2 visits were bad news. Got an emissions inspection (and it failed but they didn't say a word about the failure and just sent me on my way). Only learned later when I went to get plates. Round 2: Took 4 new tires and 4 new wheels in and they asked for $300 to mount and balance! This was always ~$120. They kept telling me it would take 30 mins per tire to mount and balance. Complete lie.Service: Tires

Brought my car in for what should have been a steering rack bushing replacement. After a short assesment they determine my rack & pinion was damaged. Instead of doing a repair that would not have fixed the problem they showed me the issues, with pictures, explained the repairs I actually needed.Hats off to an honest business who did me right. I've been using Len's for nearly a decade now, and I couldn't recommend them more. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, reasonable pricing. They won't try to upsell you or pull a fast one on you, just an honest, local mechanic that does great work. I was in the area visiting family when my van started having power issues at stop lights. Since it was the 4th of July, the best I could do was run a test at one of the auto parts stores. The report came back that it was a starter or alternator problem. I didn t want to risk driving back to Pennsylvania without getting it fixed. I was nervous about finding a mechanic to trust and who would fit me in with no notice. I called Len s first thing in the morning and he told me to bring it in right away. He said they would slip me into the schedule. I didn t have much time because we had to leave the next day. I told them I thought it was the alternator. Three hours later they called and told me it was all set and ready to go. I asked what was wrong and they told me my battery cables were loose. They didn t charge me for the diagnostics or their time. Instead, Paul sent me off with a good luck and wished me a safe trip home. I m so grateful for their friendly and HONEST service. They could have sold me a new alternator and I would not have been the wiser. The folks at Len s were perfect. This would be my go to place if I lived here. Thank you!!

I ve been coming here for quite some time, and when they had a single location. It s been a privilege watching how this company has grown.With that out of the way, today hit the mark why I never go anywhere else. My father booked my appointment because yay go sons but there seemed to be some confusion or conflict on my end of not documenting the appointment correctly. I dropped off my car and filled out the ticket just to get a call from Paul stating he couldn t look at it for another 2 weeks because of how busy they are.I was surprised of course, thinking I had the appointment which seems I didn t and he still told me he d take it in to have it inspected and looked at to ensure what I leave with at the least is knowledge on my next steps. You can t get that kind of service or genuine behavior anywhere when it was 100% your fault for missing an appointment and they still do what they can for you.Thank you len s and thank you Paul. Great company and even greater people.

I have had several repairs done with lens and have had a great experience. They have been honest and up front with what my choices were in handling the repair, by giving me options not just giving me the most expensive choice. They even repaired some small exhaust clamp at no charge. I haven't had enough experience with lens to stamp my name on them 100% but so far I trust what they have done and I recommend giving them a shot.

Excellent customer service. There are industry wide delays. I checked by calling around. Todd was up front and honest. I went in for a transmission that was done in a very timely manor. Yes there was a delay on the transmission but it was out of Lens control. Then Lens kept on top if it to make sure they could get my van back to me asap. Todd knew I had a baby coming and felt the brakes a little loose and offered to fix them before the baby is due. He knows I can change brakes and calipers but also knew I probably wouldn't want to do it because my baby is due in a week. I know the vehicle could use an alignment and some other easy maintenance items. Todd never brought it up. Any decent mechanic felt the slight pull to the right while they while driving the vehicle around. The vehicle is due for inspection in a few months. Todd knows I'll be back because I honestly trust the heck out of those guys. He also knows that I'm probably a bit overwhelmed at what I just spent there and stressed with a new baby on the way. That alignment can wait and we both know it. He never even tried to tell me. This is customer service and knowing when to let something minor go. He doesn't know how much I know about vehicles excpet I can probablychange the oil and do brakes. Lens treats my wife (who knows nothing about cars) the same way they treat me. They let us know what the car needs and what the car could use. They know what can wait and what should probably be done soon. Could not be happier.Btw, I could have pulled that transmission and done it myself (Dad was a mechanic), but it's a pain to do it so I sent it in. Great job.Services: Transmission, Brakes

Lens is one of the best in the business. I have never met a more friendly auto place. They do fantastic Auto work which you will see from the reviews but I also find having somebody nice to talk to when you're dealing with a painful experience like a car repair. That is a huge asset that others should try to replicate. Lens is the place I will forever take my vehicle not only for their pricing, there people are top-notch, and I always feel good about spending money with them. I love Lens Auto repair.

If you're like me, you dread taking your car to the mechanic, mostly because it's hard to find someone you can trust! I've experienced my share of shops that are overpriced or do work that isn't necessary. Well I have great news! Len's is the place to go. They offer fair prices, good communication (another must for me), and are extremely trustworthy. Recently my wife's car was assessed at another shop (big chain company) and was told it would be over $300 to fix a particular part. They also tried to push some other expensive, unnecessary work at the same time. We held off because it didn't feel right. So we went to Len's! They did the job for about $100 less and they even took care of a couple other minor things at no extra cost.They really stand behind their work. I'm so happy to have found this shop and you can be sure I will bringing my cars here in the future!
