I have taken my car to the dealer for the last decade. Decided to try Tim's Automotive based on their high reviews. Was not disappointed! Very friendly, explained everything they did, and was very reasonably priced. I love this shop! I recommend Tim's to everyone. They always treat me well and not like I am some stupid woman who doesn't know anything about cars. I don't know much, but almost everything I know now came from a lesson from Loretta!

Looking for an honest shop? How about techs that know their craft? What about a shop that has competitive rates? If you said "duh" to any of the questions, this is the place to go. Tucked away from town, this shop and people are a gem I found and will forever be a loyal customer. They can fix anything. If it's beyond repair, they'll be honest with you. At Tim's automotive the staff is fast and friendly. They will take the time to show and explain what's going on with your vehicle. Their mechanics are experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Stop by or call and give them a try. You'll be glad that you did.

Great business tim and the Guy's do excellent work. I wouldn't trust a New vehicle in the hands of any other person . Their always taking the time to let you know if other thingsOn the vehicle need attention, that helps me stay safe. Great 10 years of service . Thanks Guy's.

I can't say enough good things about Tim and Loretta. I have an old diesel tractor that had a fuel issue. Tim went above and beyond to fix it by the time I needed it. They're good, honest, friendly folks who know their business. Incredible experience.

Tim and his wife are very kind, professional, and great to work with. They are very honest in their prices and diagnostics which is very hard to find, especially around here. Tim is also very good about explaining what kind of issues are going on and what kind of options are available to remedy them. He will even take you into the work area and show you the problem so you can see for yourself. I love that they know my wife and me by name and even remeber our vehicles. As long as I live here, they will have 2 lifelong customers between my wife and me and I would happily recommend them to anyone!

I was very happy to find Tim's Automotive. Tim is a honest, hard working, and kind man. Tim, his wife Loretta, and his crew are all very knowledgeable and helpful. They are very good at explaining what is wrong with your vehicle. I'm very happy to have found a trustworthy mechanic.

Tim is an honest man who works very hard to give you the best deal absolutely possible even at his own expense just to ensure the job gets done right and he can maintain a customer for life. You can t find a more reliable mechanic in Columbia MO.

This is hard for me because after 20 years of searching for the "right company" I've found it. I don't wan't it to become so big that it's lost it's accessibility, but I have to give an honest accounting. 100% true. 100% noble. 100% get it done right. Can't say enough about Tim, his wife at the helm of the office and the outstanding team behind the work. Columbia's "Best Kept Secret" of automotive repair. Please don't everyone go there at once, you'll screw up our chances of getting in and out quickly :-)

Had to replace the engine in my truck and they did a great job. Fairly timely considering the current environment. May have been a bit on the expensive side of the slider but it certainly was a job well done

Friendly staff, excellent service!!! I live south side of town and had more than a dozen other options but drove 10+ miles to go to them; there must be a reason. Check them out Tim and his staff raise the bar.
