we stayed here over christmas weekend and was very pleased! it was easy to check in late at night, and the front desk lady was very nice. we had three kiddos 4 years old and younger and it was really fun for us! the breakfast was really good and their waffles were the best i ve ever had. we ll definitely be back every year!Rooms: they were very clean and the beds were comfortableFood & drinks: phenomenal breakfast!

Very, clean and Taylor was a rock star. We had a issue with the TV and Taylor (front desk) spent at least 20 mins trying to get it to work. While she wasn't able to fix it, we had great laughs. The only other issue that put any damper on things is that while the location was convenient, the sound proofing was not really good. You could hear the highway and some of those ppl were zooming by. But the only fix to that issue would've been to build in more sound proofing. Rooms: Rooms were very clean and had no funk or staleness to them.Walkability: There is an applebees within walking distance if you're tired of driving but I highly recommend traveling down the road to Blackwater, seriously best steak we've had and good selection of food.Food & drinks: Breakfast is the bomb here!!! So many placed skimp on the Breakfast when it's free. Not this place. You have many options including fresh made eggs, protein like sausage or bacon and potatoes. There fruit, bagels, everything.Noteworthy details: Our room faced the highway and you could really hear it. Little to nothing to block it out. But still give this place high marks despite that. Sounds can be drowned out with headphones or music from your phone etc. Stellar service and accommodation makes up for that in my opinion.

I stayed in this hotel for one night while traveling to Chillicothe to do prison ministry at a local women's correctional facility. The hotel was beautiful. It was a little more than I wanted to spend at $150 per night, But the room was beautiful, comfortable, extremely clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable and smelled really good. I would definitely stay there againNoteworthy details: It had a decent pool and fitness room. I didn't use either, but snapped pictures for others to see. There is also a restaurant and bar on site and an Applebee's right nearby, plus the location is very close to the center of town, where there are lots of shops and antique stores. It's very close to the women's correctional facility where I was doing ministry, only about 8 minutes away

We have stayed at many Choice properties over the last several years and this one is near the top! Jennifer was on duty when we arrived on July 21. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was great and had a generous supply of towels. Breakfast was HOT and Taylor was friendly, almost bubbly, very attentive to all aspects of serving breakfast. The workout room, while small, was very inviting with complimentary towels and water bottles already set up on the workout equipment. The tub/shower is spacious, water pressure great, and plenty of hot water. This property is easy to access from the south end of town and is close to downtown Chillicothe, the home of sliced bread!!The entire staff is the friendliest staff we have ever seen at any Choice property we have stayed.

The best Comfort Inn we've stayed at by far! In fact, we just stayed for a SECOND time. After staying in other Choice Hotels over the years (in particular Comfort Inns), we were ready to completely CANCEL our membership and never stay in one again; especially after a recent stay at one in Ohio that was an utter disaster. This particular location has renewed our faith in them. While the building is a bit old and dated (I'm told it is being remodeled soon), the staff do an excellent job of keeping it up from what we've seen. It's conveniently located right off of route 36, and the staff have been friendly and very accommodating both times we've stayed. The hot breakfast that is included in the room is always top-notch. REAL plates, coffee mugs, and silverware! Plus the staff is so friendly and making sure that you're taken care of during your breakfast which is unheard of at so many of these hotels that we visit.It is well-stocked even up to the time they're about to close! This matters a lot to us as we are often out very late for business events when we travel, and wind up sleeping in so by the time we get down to breakfast it's so picked over there's little food left and they won't restock it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the evident age of building and the fact that the elevator wasn't working when we were there. For the price I really believe you get a pretty good value and definitely a restful night's sleep. Comfortable, clean beds. Wi-fi also worked well when we've stayed there. Highly recommended.

Hotel was very clean and our room was very comfortable. Nice bathroom and was impressed they had a coin-operated laundry on the second floor even though we didn't need it. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and real dishes and silverware. Enjoyed the waffles!! The only thing I would suggest is to request a room on the front side of the hotel as the hotel is located next to the Highway 36 and the truck traffic is very loud all night long.

The room was spacious enough for both of us. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Cannot wait to visit again.Note: Came back again almost a year later and will not be back. While the staff has been friendly, every day we have had to have both room keys activated. We stayed three nights which means three days of having to get the room key(s) taken care of either by getting a new one or having the staff activate the same key each day. On a positive note, we wanted a room on the first floor. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our desire. However dealing with the room key situation every day will stop us from coming back.

This was a very good place to stay. Clean and comfy room; indoor pool and workout room; an average breakfast for this type of place. The staff were very pleasant, but I never had to put their demeanor to the test. As a whole my experience here was excellent. However, all of those trivial details are paled in comparison to moment when it struck me that it looked like a newer version of the hotel from Twin Peaks... Sure it's not exact...or close for that matter... Either way, it was an extremely fun thought at breakfast the following morning. Coffee. Black. Oh, and 1 slice of pie please.

First off, there is NO hot tub. Manager expressed irritation that this keeps coming up (there is no hot tub/spa on the premises). I even looked around and could not find one. Verified! So, nice pool, NO SPA. That said, very nice place, feels upscale, best included breakfast I ve found this year (now May 31, 2023). Good bacon!Maybe A bit pricey perhaps, but I thought it was a fair exchange of $ for services. Applebee s across the parking lot, where we ate dinner, very convenient. Five stars, inclusion in the fred floon hall of fame.

Comfortable bedding; we had a suite, very roomy, TV large, new, swivels for bed/sofa areas. Nice, lots of channels. Pool is warm enough to relax in, but the whirlpool has been removed. The staff is friendly, the breakfast better than we've had. Food was fresh, lots of choices. Great value, would stay here again

Very clean and friendly. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Great location . Not far from restaurants. Breakfast was good. Parking lot was clean. Will definitely stay again when working in the area.

WONDERFUL STAY ! No Complaints !Cleanliness 5/5 Comfort of the beds 5/5 (we slept so good) Staff friendliness was most definitely 5/5 !And I would like to add that the staff where truly so respectful and polite !They make a really good & TASTY breakfast with LOTS of different food and drink selections ! And if you were in a hurry and didn t have time for breakfast they made breakfast bags to go!! Will be staying there again !

Very clean comfortable room and the bed was so comfortable I looked to see what mattress it had. The breakfast was incredible with bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy and just about every other breakfast food you would want. We put this hotel on our list of ones to stay at when we can't quite make it home from one of our many trips.

Very nice hotel!! Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we wanted. The morning breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices for just about any taste. The staff were professional and very helpful. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the area was nice for those that were not swimming or enjoying the hot tub to be able to sit.

Jennifer was very accommodating & understanding of our emergency. She was generous enough to give us a discount. We had a great night sleep. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend here

Every thing is so clean (even by my immunosuppressed standards!); the staff are so kindly, and the rooms are well laid out. We stayed with our twin toddlers, and after just unplugging the phones and microwave the entire room was safe for them to play and for us to relax.I really want to mention Amy, in the breakfast cafe. She was so helpful to me this morning while I was trying to wrangle breakfast upstairs for 4 people. She went entirely out of her way and made my morning easier- which can never be taken lightly with toddlers!!!!To top it all off, we forgot a phone AND a debit card in the room and they were able to help us get them back quicker than you could say "oops!!" Seriously- great service!!!

Enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable. Love the salt water indoor pool & hot tub. Nice amenities. GREAT staff. Breakfast selections are really good. Personally, the bed was too soft for my preference, but is that really a bad thing?
