Spent Christmas weekend there with my girlfriend. we enjoyed it, it was clean, very historic, great location. Of the 2 nights we spent there, only 1 night had guests in 1 other room. It was pretty amazing to have the place to ourselves. No attendee, if you need something you have to call them, which was fine for us, we didn't have any issues. The location is perfect. If you want a modern place with all the amenities, go stay at the Hilton and deal with everything a big hotel has like kids running up and down hall screaming and yelling. If you want a quiet romantic adult retreat in old downtown, this is the place. Honestly we loved it and will probably come back in the future.

WARNING do NOT book - we arrived to find absolutely no one there, when booking the pictures shows a beautiful bar w/drinks & food; an outside fire; an upstairs balcony to sit on. BAR/Restaurant is CLOSED & barricaded off (it's actually been closed a year but not updated on website or Expedia) -- BALCONY door is LOCKED & you cannot access the balcony -- NO FIRE - NO amenities at all. After seeing this we went to our room; room was cute & did look clean, but it was FREEZING! -- NO thermostat in room only an 18" space heater. Also a gap in the door to the hallway. This place is creepy & I felt very unsafe. We did call the number & waited a bit. No call & no one showed up in a timely fashion. But this was our vacation so we left & booked a Hilton (which was great!) Also if you needed any ice - they had a community ice chest in the front room - but who wants to use that??!?! We did finally talk w/ the manager, who would NOT refund us and told us that the bar is technically still there even though you can't get to it. WOW - very deceitful advertising! He admitted to the place being run down & owner trying to sell it. Also both buildings on either side of hotel are abandon and empty. Again scary because parking is in alley behind hotel. Again DO NOT BOOK. They only want the money but don't care about the customer. I would give ZERO stars if possible.

This place is a dump now. Owner/manager is NOT onsite. Doors have gaps in them that you can see into room. Ice chest on floor for use, but who knows if spit in it. Heat was turned down to save money, and room has small portable heater to supplement. No bar, no restaurant, no body. Go elsewhere if you are expecting anything more than a bed. Property manager plays game about pics on Expedia..which shows full bar, food, etc...you know, the stuff you would expect from a "hotel". Refund refused to me, and I didn't stay...went to Hilton 500 ft down the road. If I could leave zero stars, I would.UPDATE: 12/20. Expedia contacted property management to attempt to get a refund for me. Expedia said " They are very difficult to work with and not interested in offering a refund." So, Expedia gave me the refund instead. This is what customer service looks like. Thanks Expedia for stepping up and giving me a full refund, even though, it was not your obligation.Noteworthy details: It's old, but not well kept. No management onsite, good luck getting help if you needed something.empty buildings either side, and parking in alley. Branson has about a million places to stay, go elsewhere.

Very disappointing. Booked a pricey stay in the 'buck room' for a romantic getaway - only to discover the AC was not functional and our room was a sauna. There was no one present in the hotel to ask for help - we had difficulty getting any sleep in the heat. Room next to us had same problem. Save yourself the hassle and stay in a big hotel - this one's a gamble that didn't pay off for me.

Pros:Good locationComplimentary 1 person ticket to lots of attractions including silver dollar city and white waterCons:No one at the front deskWe stayed in Serendipity, the ceiling fan made squeaky sound which was super annoying. They need to fix it asap.Room was very small, also u can hear outside at night, little loud

We enjoy having the hotel be a part of our whole weekend getaway. I had no idea about where to stay in Branson. We went for the dinner train and the hotel was a great part of the weekend. Definitely stay here if you want to be able to walk around through cute downtown shops as well as an open air mall. The shows are a easy drive. Immaculate home, private but great location. Well appointed rooms, much more enjoyable than a hotel room.

Very unprofessional. We were suppose to do the stay on the strip we traveled 4 hours we were suppose to stay at another hotel we called hotel we were supposed to stay I am taking sent a fax for cancellation last night at 6 PM. Feel to call email or text me letting me know that they had canceled my hotel reservations, to where I had to stay at the Branson hotel then refunded me and would not provide proof until I called the police because that is not what I paid for not what I was told I was going to be receiving. Now I m blocked from the stay onthe strip Facebook page and can not call them as I m blocked from calling them

Staff was friendly and accommodating. This place is simply amazing. We stayed in the serendipity for our anniversary and it was beautiful. When we arrived they had a card, rose petals and bottle of wine waiting in our room for us. Comforting, peaceful, and relaxing. If your looking for a romantic get away, or just a peaceful play to stay, it is here!

Such a great place! I have never been much of a bed and breakfast kind of person, but this place has changed my mind. It s an all around great establishment! Where to start... firstly, the staff is amazing. Ethan and Caroline are too notch. They are so helpful and make you feel right at home. Caroline also makes a great breakfast. The rooms are simply that, rooms. But the beds are comfortable and they are cozy and easy to get comfortable in. The property is open and beautiful. It s nice to sit outside or at the bar and hang out. The staff is attentive and helpful. I can t wait to come back!

Check in was very easy. This was the 2nd time my husband and I stayed in the Heritage room. The bed was super comfy and the temperature of the room was perfect. The Landing is just a short walk from the hotel. We have enjoyed Capones Lounge in the past. The Branson Hotel is a great place to stay and we will be coming back. They take great measures to clean and keep everyone safe.

Great place! Hospitality superb! Terrific amenities too! It beats the big hotels in my book. If you are looking for something different with a down home atmosphere, give The Branson Hotel a try. Very convenient and walking distance to shopping and dining. You can rent the whole hotel for a group of shoppers and golfers. You have your choice of nine uniquely styled rooms. Super clean!

This hotel was entirely not what I expected, but very lovely. There are just 6 rooms, and the place feels much more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel (plus they actually serve you breakfast!). And it was the cleanest hotel I think I've ever seen. The parking lot is confusing to get to, there's no temperature control in the room, the desk is only staffed from 8-8 (a bit concerning for the business traveler, I had to leave a note to check out since there was no staff on site), and it's definitely not ADA accessible, but those things all melt away inside the serene building. It was the most relaxing atmosphere I've ever experienced in a hotel. If I'm ever back in Branson for a romantic getaway instead of business, this place will be top of my list.

My sister had her wedding reception at the hotel this past weekend and I have never seen such an amazing crew of people go out of their way to make sure it all went smoothly. The kindness and friendliness of everyone at the hotel was out of this world. The hotel is very well maintained and has such charm. A prefect place for a quick weekend getaway or a long stay. Thanks to Caroline, Lori, Ethan and the rest of the staff for making this weekend a very special and memorable one!

This place is super cool and quaint. The rooms are very nice and very clean. Staff is very laidback, friendly and helpful with any and all needs. The included drinks and breakfast were much better than a typical continental breakfast and your just a short walk from the landing . All they need is a hot tub outside for some cold weather late night soaking and I d probably be trying to move in. Great job!

We went after receiving a gift certificate and so enjoyed our stay. Wonderful place and great location (walkable to the Landing)... we had a great stop in the little restaurant & bar downstairs as well. Definitely a neat place to stay in Branson! Would recommend to anyone!!!

Few hotels have ever made me feel like I was at home, but this one succeeded. Free glass of wine at check in and a free breakfast - okay they aren't free because they're included with the cost of the stay, but this hotel was significantly less than anything comparable in the area. The themed rooms are a great touch and both staff members we met were pleasant and helpful. We stayed at a bunch of hotels, some very expensive, on a coast to coast to coast trip and this was the only hotel with perfect cleanliness. Even if Branson had nothing else to offer, which is clearly not the case, The Branson Hotel alone would be worth the visit.

I loved staying at this hotel. The manager (Lori) called us before our stay to ensure everything would go smoothly. Finding the parking in the back was a little tricky but, if we weren't arriving at 9 in the evening, it would have been easier to see. The room we stayed in was great, especially since there was a bottle of wine waiting for us. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast was freshly made which, in my opinion, is better than the "serve yourself" models big hotel chains use. Before we left, Lori made sure we had enough pastries to last us through the afternoon. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling without children.

Staff was very helpful in giving us a space to hold my daughter's birthday party. I didn't stay overnight, but based on the garden area and the time with the staff I have every reason to believe the hotel is a five star experience as well. Definitely a hidden gem in plain sight.

Awesome quiet place to stay. Very friendly staff. You get 1 free alcohol drink and a free breakfast. Has a private bar, no loud annoying people to deal with. Plus it's adults only. Very clean and cozy.Definitely recommend it for a couple getaway.

Words can't adequately express how much I love this place. I'm here for my honeymoon and this little piece of history has proven itself to be one of the most special parts of our trip. Checking in was easy. Lori booked us on the fly and made reservations for us quickly over the phone at a good price. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, and are decorated true to the state of Missouri. We spent some time outside on the veranda where the smell of roses saturated the air around us. So happy.

Best place to stay in all of Branson hands down. Gorgeous historical property. Each room has it own theme! A perfect roof top viewing patio. And the staff is phenomenal, they treat everyone like family.

I love the history of a location as much as everything else and this place is perfect. This historic hotel is as good as they come. The staff is friendly and always willing to accommodate. It's location is literally within a short short walk from downtown where all the shoppes and restaurants are. Rooms are extremely quaint and always kept clean. Highly recommend THIS hotel over any of the others in the area due to it's character and history as well as amazing staff. Great stay.

I regretted booking a room in this "hotel" from the time the owner first met me until i checked out the next morning. Her first words were, "If I had known you had a service dog I would have told you you can't stay here." Ok first of all... That's illegal! Second... That's not the way you welcome a guest who is paying a pretty penny to stay in your hotel. And things went downhill from there with her disrespect and berating me for even having a service dog. Here's a fact: I have a disability. I can't go to places like Branson and stay in places like The Branson Hotel without my service dog.I gave this place 2 stars because the room was nice... Way over priced but nice. But the whole stay was overclouded by the ignorance and rudeness of the owner. Next time I will save money and stay at the Hilton just down the street. Less hassle and they don't have hidden cameras spying on your every move.

My wife and I spent a night here for our 25th anniversary celebration. We stayed in the Horseshoe Room, which is decorated with horse paintings and fixtures. The room and its king sized bed were delightful. We also enjoyed the rooftop view of the older part of the Branson strip, and the Branson Landing.

The accommodations and hospitality were beyond five stars. The location is super convenient to walk to historic downtown Branson and the Branson Landing. Clean and cozy with delicious breakfast options and a gem of a bar/cafe, but most of all the staff truly made the experience top notch and memorable!

We stayed in the Notebook room for our 40th anniversary. Everything was superbly designed in the theme of this room. Even small amenities were well thought out and anticipated by the staff. A romantic place for newlyweds as well as people celebrating anniversaries.

Not what is advertised.Remote Chech in took half and our in the cold and rain. The so called wine bar was closed unless you were the owners family.Rooms are small and cramped and there is no coffee service.Heat came on in the middle of the night and was not able to turn it down had to open all the windows.A real Raspberry of a hotel!Over priced with no amenities.
