Our Ford freestyle blew a spark plug out of the back of the motor. Normally I would fix it myself but due to being 8 hrs away from home, that was not possible. I was referred to Crawford's by another local shop and after informing them of the problem and explaining we were leaving on Friday and it being Wednesday evening, they promptly sent a tow truck and took us where we needed to go. They called me the next afternoon less than 24 hrs and told me they had completed the repair and our car was ready for pickup. It was so well done I can't even tell they took it apart and it was affordable. I'm not one that likes to allow someone else to work on my vehicles but even when they could have taken advantage of us , they treated us with respect and got us on the road quickly. Thanks for everything and I highly recommend them if you need repairs.

I highly recommend Crawford s Automotive. We had some car troubles while on vacation, and the staff at Crawford s were extremely prompt in resolving the issue & keeping us informed about the repair being made, and when it would be completed. The turn around time was very fast so we were still able to enjoy our vacation! We are SO grateful for the friendly and professional service provided. Thank you!

I HIGHLY recommend coming to Crawford's! They are so very helpful and made my stressful vacay a better time with a easy fix! I called and they were very helpful and explained a lot to me about my car! If I ever need something when I am Vacationing in Branson I know who to call!!

We had Crawfords do some repairs to our vehicle. They were reasonably priced and the work was completed in a timely manner. AJ kept us updated on their progress and the work was completed when he told us it would be. Would recommend them.

Top notch service!!! We were from out of town with a bad set of breaks. On a busy Friday they fit us in and our vacation was on hold for only a few hours. Thank you Chris and the entire crew!! We would highly recommend!!

These guys refused to do a wheel alignment and told me the ball joints were bad. I took my car elsewhere and the ball joints are fine. These guys just wanted money out of me. Will not be going back.

Went to three other places, they couldn't totally fix problem. Was referred to Crawfords and they fixed it in 15 minutes, very reasonably. They will have my business in future if needed. Didnt try to upsell a "elderly" female.

Took my Ridgeline there to find out why my engine light was on and and why I was getting bad gas mileage. Was told that my valves needed to be adjusted. Over $1000 worth. The engine light came on three days later and my mileage wasn't any better.Fast forward to two weeks ago. I took my truck to Pinegar Honda in Springfield to get a recall done. I asked them to look at why the engine light was on and why i was getting bad gas mileage. He told me that my catalytic converter was bad. I cant believe this the Crawfords I've used in the past. Won't use them again.

Crawford's was quick, punctual, and friendly. They picked up my vehicle with no worries and worked great with my insurance company. The Gentleman on the phone was nice, informative, and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them with any of your towing needs in the Branson area

highly recommend this place to anyone, the staff was very friendly and their prices are fair and they don't take advantage of you. As a woman i feel as though I'm constantly overcharged at car repair shops and taken advantage of. Will definitely be taking my business here in the future

My son has had quite a bit of work done to his 2004 Mustang at Crawford's and they've always done a great job and treated him well. I wouldn't say they are the cheapest place around but I will say they're the best! If you want it done right take it to Crawford's.

Update: 3/10/21Had to return with a different issue with our SUV. Once again they came through with flying colors! Awesome Service & John kept me updated. They had us repaired & back on the road in 24 hours! Impressed to say the least & cost was cheaper than I had anticipated.Thank you Crawford Automotive!Had a really good experience with them. They were up front, did a great job at a reasonable price. They kept me informed through the repair process and got us all taken care of in a very reasonable time frame!Service: Engine repair

Fast. Professional. Knowledgeable. John & the team evaluate your vehicle's problems and suggest best solutions, working with your schedule if you need to bring it back some other day. No coffee in waiting room, but this isn't a coffee shop, it's an auto shop! Will use these guys again, especially since my usual shop couldn't address my damaged oil pan & gasket issue.

Several family members have been burned by this manager, John. My daughter was told her car needed to be junked, so we just handed him the keys - them found out he sold it to an acquaintance of hers (small town bad idea to lie). Charged me for services that didn t fix the problem and had to be redone at a dealership the right way. And they my ex went to him to get his heated fix paid $1000 and he was so grateful until less than a week later the car was overheating and when he went to have it towed in rather than risk problems John told him the head gasket was blown and it was going to be another $3500. Basically the car wasn t worth fixing (sound familiar? - don t think he realized he was related to my daughter he d done the same thing to).I m furious this guy stays in business when he screws so many people - but it s because he asks people to give good reviews and like myself harasses others with poor reviews to remove or recant them.I encourage people to post their true experiences, and to remember Small Claims Court is there for a reason. John is a likeable person, but when he gets caught in something like this it s shocking how hateful and mean he can become. One by one my family has had to learn this.Try BAT Boys, they are high but they are honest. Same with most dealerships. And I know there are some good independent mechanics around but I ve learned from this that Crawfords should have stuck towing (but even that I had a less than great experience).Service: General repairs & maintenance

My truck was broke down over down In hollister and one of the guys came down and actually did way more than he needed two and ended up calling another service to come down and help us the truck off a trailer then onto there flatbed. Which took a couple hours so that was totally awesome of him. They are really great guys.

Brought my truck in to have the trailer brake wiring checked. I was getting an intermittent grounding wire code from the brake controller when my trailer was hooked up, so I brought it in to have it checked out. After an hour and a half of labor, they didn t find anything wrong with the truck, so they determined it was on the trailer side. The best part is they charged me a fair amount for diagnostics and not the hour and half of labor they spent on it. Very fair, knowledgable and friendly. Just call ahead for an appointment because they re busy. It took me a week before I could get in, but they are worth it.

Crawford's was great! My car broke down while I was in vacation. They got me in quickly. Once he saw the problem he knew right away it was a recall with my vehicle. They were very upfront and honest, as they could have fixed it there.They then set up the tow truck to take me and my car where I needed to go. Very helpful!

I've never used this company but your drivers need to take driving lessons! Whoever was in a red flatbed in Springfield with a white Cadillac on the bed almost side-swiped my truck! Pull out into traffic without even looking and forced me into the oncoming traffic lane to avoid getting hit!Guy is oblivious to everything around him!

Being on vacation we needed emergency car repair. They were able to fit us in their busy schedule. Asking us to leave the vehicle and they would get to it when they could.. I thought that I would be without a car for days however they worked on our car as promised as soon as possible. Once the problems were diagnosed they called us and discussed what was needed moving forward, they were very good about keeping in contact with us every step of the way and made sure the job was done correctly so we could have a safe trip home. Our car was returned to us in working condition by the next day. I cannot say thank you enough to them for getting us back on the road to enjoy our trip.

After having a conversation with another local service that left me disappointed, I received Crawford's information from our dealer and called them. They were so kind and professional on the phone and had a truck out to us within 1 hour.We run a resort in town and will always recommend Crawford's to our guests for any of their needs as well as our own!Thanks so much, Chris! I had a transmission flush, oil change, and anticipated an oil change. After looking my car over, they told me I didn't really need to get my brakes and rotors done. I was very impressed that they didn't just do them & take my money. Also, their transmission flush was significantly cheaper than other places I'd compared prices. I will be recommending Crawford's to people I know, they'll be my go to for year's to come.

We were traveling from out of town and developed a noise in our 2007 Jeep Liberty. The dealer was unable to look at it and referred us to Crawford's Automotive. They were very polite and courteous. Due to our safety concerns, they test drove and inspected the vehicle assuring us that it was mechanically safe to drive. When we offered to pay for the services, they said that there was no charge. We would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Crawford's recently. First off, we have taken our vehicles there for years. We took the Trailblazer in for a transmission service. They let us know we would probably need a wheel bearing in a few weeks. We couldn't hear it, but they could. Sure enough, a few weeks later my wife was leaving for work and felt a vibration. Had Troy at Crawford's not warned us about it, she might have continued to drive to springfield. They fixed it quickly and slightly under their estimate. Quick, efficient and polite, but most importantly honest service. Make Crawford's your spot. They are definitely ours.

I can t say enough good things about this repair shop. They fixed my Subaru for much less than I was quoted at the dealer. The dealer quoted a price that was about 400% higher and several items were incorrectly diagnosed by the dealer. They have earned my trust and business!!

I went in for a clutch replacement, and my vehicle came out with more issues than it went in for. They unnecessarily used my own materials in vehicle without notice/ reimbursement- overfilled the motor oil, leading to me stopped on the side of highway with oil smoke fuming from the engine bay. They then misaligned the drive train, resulting in the drive shaft twisting in half a week later. And finally, they deleted previous review. If you live near Branson and need a mechanic go to Crawfords! They never cease to amaze me. The amazing customer service of Troy when you first walk in to the mechanics working on your car are all friendly and leave nothing to be desired in customer service. They are amazing!!!! As a woman (I don't know much about how a car works) they always make sure I understand how to best take care of my car. The prices are fair for the work and the mechanics and whole staff is so friendly! Thank you for always taking care of this loyal customer!

Used Crawford's towing for my truck to Springfield and was great. Yesterday I needed my other vehicle to my new place, but they went ahead and jumped it instead saying it would be cheaper than towing since regular cables could have been old. It was jumped, but was told to get more gas since it was low, which I did. When I put gas in it and tried to start it, it was dead. I called to have them tow, which I wanted in the first place. Cost me an additional service call fee, plus mileage. So this service ended up costing me $117. Glad I was able to get to to my new place, but very unhappy about the two service charges. I give 5 stars for the towing, but 1 star for the double service fees.
