Shop owner is always there and he is very knowledgeable. Super straightforward and tells you exactly what's going on with your vehicle.His pricing is on point, and I have tried many different mechanics over the years throughout the St. Louis area.I do very much recommend Hemann Automotive. I've been using this shop for my construction company vehicles and personal vehicles for the past 10 years.

I took my vehicle here in an attempt to diagnose what could be described as either a misfire, fuel delivery, shudder issue, or a combination of issues. When I dropped my vehicle off I informed Steve that I had recently changed the spark plugs and rear coil boots in my vehicle. I received a phone call the next day stating that I could pick up my vehicle. He said he drove my vehicle and could NOT diagnose the cause of my vehicle's symptoms. He stated that he checked my spark plugs and torqued them down because they were loose, so he would be charging me $100.00 because he did that. He never consulted me prior to "torquing down" my spark plugs. Since I'd put the spark plugs in myself, I already know they were put in according to specifications.

My partner and I were buying a car local to this shop and we wanted a pre purchase inspection for peace of mind, to say I was taken aback by this shop is an understatement, Steve was no less then exceptional and very professional throughout the whole process detailing what we needed to bring back to the dealer with pictures and documentation. What a great place! I talked to Steve and told him my A/C was out after replacing the coolant twice last year. He took the time to look up the parts, prices and could do it the next day. After being giving an estimate from another shop, I m grateful I left Church Road and headed south on Jeffco. Steve was honest and gave me a great estimate to replace my a/c compressor and recharge it for $525 less than the place up the road. It includes a 12 month warranty. That other place wanted $2300 extra for a 3 year warranty. And the repair was perfect! My car is almost too cold! Thank you for great service at an amazingly fair price!! This will be my first stop for repairs in the future! Service: A/C installation & repair

My brother recommended this repair shop to me, and I am so grateful. My car was making a very loud sound from the front of the engine. I thought it was the alternator going out, but it was the water pump. My car was fixed the next day. Quiet once again. Don t wait to get your car fixed. This shop was amazing. Thanks Steve.

Stopped to ask if they got time to do only emissions on the car, and the guy straight up lied to me. The system is down, and they can't do it, he said. If you're going to lie about small thing like that, i would be very cautious about trusting them to do something on the vehicle fairly and honestly. Also, to the shop owner, if it's a waste of time to do these emissions testing, opt out of it and take down the sign nobody is forcing you to do them.

Had a ac compresser replaced. Was given a price, when I called to check when it would be ready was told they gound more problems and the price would be double. When I picked up the truck they said they found more problems and the price was triple the estimate. The AC is working now but they did more than $2000.00 additional work without checki g with me first.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Amazing service and reasonably priced! They got my car in same day and had it ready to go with in a couple hours. They were willing to use my parts I provided and were honest when certain parts didn't need replacement.

I could go on and on about the customer service Hemann renders, he s attentive, kind, committed, organized and a professional. He has been a blessing to my daughter and I. As a single parent he looks out and ensures our vehicles are running to part, makes recommendations that are needed vs money for his pocket, he stands behind his service and he s an absolute gentle giant!

I took my new vehicle up to Car X in Arnold. They were very nice and professional. I needed an outer tie rod and an alignment. I was quoted an estimate of $729.00 for parts, labor, alignment and tax.WOW! I called hemann in Arnold, Ford factory part, alignment, labor including tax $265.00 WOW!!!!

I recently had a disaster of a day: flat tire, lost tire lock tool, stranded in rural area. The guys at Hemann were SO nice and helpful. They gave me instructions over the phone and then worked with my father-in-law to get my tire fixed and my car working. I ve used them in the past for inspections and new tires and I cannot say enough good things.

Hemann is the place to go. He is a trustworthy and good guy. My first visit he offered me a ride home not even knowing where I lived. I have had many issues with my Hyundai and he has fixed them all. He does what it takes to get it done.

The guys at Hemann really helped me out when I was in a bind. They were able to fix stripped bolt in my engine block at a fair price. Now my car runs great and I would recommend them to anyone who is having car problems.

I just purchased a vehicle from one of Steve's customers. Steve, the owner of Hemann Automotive, set up the whole transaction, and dealing with him was an overwhelmingly positive experiencethe service industry desperately needs more people like Steve and his employees: upfront, courteous and HONESTI will definitely be returning to Hemann Automotive when my newly purchased vehicle needs maintenance, and I will suggest my friends and family do likewise
