I brought my 1979 CJ7 to Dependable Auto because a friend recommended their business. My Jeep had more than one issue but it was repaired perfectly. My Jeep runs fantastic and the new brakes are extremely "dependable". All of this happened just in time for Cruising the Coast. Thank you Dependable for an affordable solution for my classic Jeep.

This place is great for auto repair. Their prices are fair, and they are honest. They easily could have charged me way more for a repair, and I would not have known any better. They also stay in constant communication with you. Dependable Auto Repair will be my "go-to mechanic" for years to come.

Dependable Auto repair has been my go to auto repair shop for the last 3 years. Whether it was routine maintenance or some unexpected issues, Dependable got the job done in a reasonable time with satisfactory prices. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to find this place and give them my business. I had an issue for a long time that would come and go and the first time I brought it my vehicle was acting fine so they told me bring it back when it messed up, a few weeks later i was finally able to bring it back. They were able to figure out the problem and fix it in the same day with no appointment. These people knew what position I was in and was able to work around my schedule. Replaced a/c compressor. Great communication from start to finish. We knew it would be expensive but with this past summer it was well worthwhile. Good friendly people. Will be my first choice next repair.

My check engine light came on. I have used this place for service twice now and both times were an excellent experiences !!They always check on your vehicle several days after the service to see if everything is ok. Great place!! Great service!! Great people!! I highly recommend them.

Went in for diagnosis of why car wouldn t start. Battery tested good alternator tested good and couldn t figure out. Thought it was the starter. Took to dependable and Mike and his crew found the culprit, a loose battery terminal. They cleaned it up and put a protective barrier on it and secured it and it runs like a champ. They went above and beyond. Great customer service and great people highly recommend.Services: Electrical repair, Auto emissions testing

I live out of state and was there visiting family and an issue came up with my car. Check engine light came on. My FIL called and they got me in right away and fixed my car the day before we were to head back home. They're awesome and I highly recommend.

I made it all the way to Gulfport. I had a tick in my motor. I bent a valve. They even gave it to me. So they got it straight in and made the extensive repairs. They always kept me informed by text message. They did not mind me stopping in. They were great to work with. They went out of their way to get me back on the road. They are amazing for fixing my A/C that's been out for a little over a year. And right before the summer. Also they let you buy your own part unlike some other mechanics around. I highly recommend this place to bring your car

Took my GMC pick up in for a check engine light and a tune up. Got me in as quick as they could. Diagnosed the problem, made the repairs, and got me back on the road. Truck runs fantastic! Tried twice, they WONT follow up!! Called last year, spoke to a nice lady, gave her all the info, never heard back. Tried again this year with a different issue, but actually stopped in. Go out to the truck with the guy, he gets VIN and all details...that was 3 weeks ago! Made a second attempt cause reviews are great and they are near me, but I guess they don't want new customers...

I have used Mike for several years. The first time I met him he discussed some options for a major repair to make it as affordable as possible. We were in a major bind and he could have brought us to the bank, but he didn't. He was honest and up front. He even prioritized the repairs and gave us a plan to ensure the items were safely taken care of. I have a mechanic friend up north that told me that it is hard to find an honest mechanic these days. If you are looking for a real mechanic, not a part changer, Mike is your guy. I absolutely love this place!!! Mike is by far my favorite mechanic! He is honest, fair priced, treats everyone with respect, and values people all while running a business with great knowledgeable and professionalism. He's always willing to go the extra mile to explain what's wrong with your car and has helped my car keeping going extra miles 184k miles and counting, thanks to Mike! I seriously recommend!
