When we booked the room the lady was very difficult to talk to and understand. Check in went smoothly but when we walked in the room the TV had been left on. Never had that before. We checked the room over and deemed it safe so stayed. The bedding was ok for a hotel. The continental breakfast was out of a lot of items and the lady running it was over at the counter talking with the lady behind the desk the whole time I was eating. There just seemed to be a lack of pride or care which was disappointing since this is a Marriott chain hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend our granddaughter s wedding in Sallis MS and we are always happy with Hampton Inns except this one!The room smelled very damp and musty the carpet was very frayed and looked awful the air conditioning was SO loud it was difficult to sleep! Right after we arrived on Friday afternoon we discovered there wasn t an ice machine on our floor! Just not there anymore! So Jim went down to the second floor not one there either! After finding the only working ice machine in the entire hotel we were fine for that night and went to the rehearsal dinner. Saturday we were at the breakfast buffet with our daughter and son in law and 2 of our grandsons very meager choices it was 8:30 and the hotel was pretty full but many items just weren t there and nobody was replenishing them! Not a good, ok not even a decent edible breakfast! After going out for lunch we returned to get ready for the wedding. I showered first and with a head of wet hair I discovered the blow dryer didn t work! After about a 20 minute delay I was told to go down the hall to another room now I m worried about being late for photography before the wedding!!! The front desk people were very nice truly helpful but this hotel is in a very sad state of disrepair!Hilton has higher standards than this . Or so we thought!

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great. My husband used the fitness center and said it was pretty decent. We extended our stay, so the guest laundry room was very convenient. I wish we were able to utilize the pool. The pool was closed for our whole stay, there was a paper sign posted. I also thought the coffee maker being in the bathroom was weird, luckily we don't drink coffee. But, the coffee maker was in the way and taking up counter space. For the area this hotel was pretty decent.

This hotel SUX!!!!!1. Only one elevator and it don't work. Red Tape2.TV don't work. No tv all day and night ...terrible3.Shower Head broken....I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago as I was passing through to visit family and it has really gone down hill. We arrived late and were very tired with young kids. The room had a terrible mildew smell so we asked for a different room. Our new room though no smell was not clean. The bathroom was dirty and the top bed spread had colored stains on it. The decor and furniture were very outdated. I'm not sure what the issue was with making room keys but we had difficulty getting into our room and had to have multiple keys made. Overall, really disappointed with our stay at this hotel and will not be staying there again.

The hotel room were not clean the breakfast was stale and spoiled milk. The staff was not friendly. Person that was serving the breakfast had on a bed head scarf, house clothing of stretch pants and oversized tshirt and flip flops very inappropriate far from professional. The lady was handling all the food with no gloves and one of the customers became sick from spoiled milk that was curd and all she did was pour it out and put more milk inside. They had no Forks for us to eat meals. We were using spoons for waffles. Bathroom tub and sink was filthy. We were told that the hotel was full and no other rooms were available. Front desk staff check me in with the incorrect name although I provided a driver's license in which I was required to give her my confirmation number to assure her that she had the incorrect information in her computer . I was promised the room that would have a wall separating in the suite and that was not the case. There were bugs flying around in the hotel room. Room furniture was VERY old and dated. Smells horrible.

Nice hotel. The manager, Christal, was super nice. She noticed how my 2 year old grandson was mesmerized by monster trucks on the lobby TV, the next day she presented him with a really nice monster truck toy! Her personal touch is the reason we will return to this hotel in the future. On the negative side, we had a lady bug problem in our original room but they quickly moved is to another room.

The 5-star review is for the receptionist Loretta. Keys did not work to our room (3 different sets). She went over and above to minimize our frustration and finally helped us move to a different room. It seems we were not the only people with non-functional room keys.Room was nice and comfortable.

We stopped here after being on the road for 13 hours. The room smelled heavily of cleaners and was quite outdated. The pool had too much chlorine and you were unable to see the bottom as the water was so cloudy. Checking in the gentleman wasn't overly friendly. BUT the lady working at 5am was very friendly not only to me but everyone. When I explained I didn't sleep well with my 2yr old sharing my bed and needed some good coffee she quickly got a fresh pot of coffee from the back and offered multiple coffee strengths (dark or light).

Bedspread torn and hanging. Bed was squeaky as if it was going to break . Worst part felt EVERY spring in the mattress. Room old and dated, tub stained wouldn't suggest staying here if you want to sleep. 1 mexican restaurant other than that only fast food around. Will definitely never stop here again a motel 8 would have been more comfortable. Extremely disappointing for a Hilton/ Hampton Inn

We had car trouble on vacation and just managed to limp our way to this Hampton. Everyone was incredibly helpful. Crystal made sure we had everything we needed, including a local mechanic recommendation and an extra late checkout. Our rooms were clean, large, quiet, and comfortable. Kids loved the mini waffles with whipped cream for breakfast.

The rooms were amazing and comfortable. The bed was aaaaamaaaazing. Temp was alttile off but as soon as I told someone she went to fix it right away. Everything was great only real problem I has was check in and that was just because she was on her personal phone on a personal phone call. But it didn't take long. Price on line did differ from price and check in but was still great and worth it . Staff was very friendly wasn't able to enjoy breakfast because was heading to get my mom her surgery but smelled amazing. Will Definitely recommend this place

Staff are very professional and personable. Enjoyed our stay. The room was huge. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast & coffee was great. ~Booked last minute for a family urgency and staff patiently assisted with reviewing booking details.

The GoodFront desk and breakfast staff friendly.The bed was very comfortableAC is very cold.Needs improvementHotel in general needs renovated.Gaps on the sides of the window AC.Called front desk to request towels but no answer from front desk.No housekeeping or towel change offered. Had to go to front desk to get fresh towels.If I weren't brand committed, I would have checked out and gone elsewhere.

The front desk clerk was great. It was over priced for the location. My bed was making noises every time I moved. The bathroom was not clean. When you turn the shower on the water still ran from the faucet.

It s ok. Could be better. Price is right and is a good midway point for my travels.The rooms are clean, good sized, and the staff is friendly, but the furniture in some rooms are broken down and the mattresses need to be replaced. The mattresses are all way too soft and not good for individuals with back issues. I would recommend asking for a room with firm mattress(es) if they have any. Hopefully they will replace these worn down mattresses soon with new ones.Some of the bathrooms could use a re-caulking and some water damage repair. Some of the rooms could use some minor repairs. This location could do with an over haul or refresh.I have stayed here many times over the years and I ve complained about worn down furniture, mattresses, need for repairs before to Hilton and nothing has changed. Each time I m here I m in a different room and each room has something different that needs done. I think Hilton doesn t really care about this place that much. I ve stayed at other Hampton Inns which are older than this one and are in better repair.

We had someone attempt to make entry to our room at 8:30 PM using a pass key card. He tried to say he was maintenance to fix the phone. The phone was working. We notified front desk but they seemed unconcerned.The location near interstate was convenient but the hotel has not been updated in quite some time. Not the quality of Hampton we have come to expect.

I always try to stay at Hampton Inn wherever I go as I like their choice of pillows, mattresses, room layout, breakfast and lobby comfort. I stayed in the Canton Hampton Inn over the past week and this is by far the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Had bugs crawling on the ceiling and walls, dirt on the shower walls, hair on hotel towels and fleas in the room. As we were here for work and leaving early and returning late daily we opted to continue staying and clean the room ourselves and use towels we brought as it was obvious it wasn't being done by the staff. I will not stay at this hotel location again. Upon arrival the smell of smoke from drugs in the parking lot was very strong, can't blame the hotel for that but will note that the 2nds floor where we stayed had a strong old smoke smell in the hallway.On a different note. the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

Better service than most 5 stars. The staff was quick to help us unload when they saw we had mobility impaired guests. It was late at night and during COVID. The place was perfectly clean, and we were offered outstanding hospitality despite the challenges. The price was amazing - save yourself dollars and stay here if you have any business that takes you near Jackson!
