(Still haven't got called for my alternator and it's been 3 weeks) if you want your part pulled call them back after placing your order and tell them your going to a different yard to get the part then they will call you back within a minute and tell you your stuff is ready This yard has fell apart completely since they shut Down there u-pull section of the yard, dont bother trying to get parts from this place, I called for a alternator 3 days ago and haven't got a call back.(alternator is on top of engine and took me 20 minutes to take mine out) They overcharge as well, upullit in Rosemount is your best bet instead of giving your money to these fools.Like i said, this yard was great before the fire but now I wouldn't refer this to anybody even if they were the only yard that had the part I needed I'd buy it brand new instead this place a joke. I waited outside there gate for my part and half there employees left 30 minutes before close when they could of been getting my alternator but I instead bought one new from oriellys....

Friendly, helpful, and courteous service. I needed a wheel for a spare tire, filled out the online request, and promptly received a call informing me they had what I was looking for. They pulled the wheel and had it ready for me the next day. I wholeheartedly recommend Hwy 101 Auto Salvage.

They usually have what you need, and you can pull it yourself, they could stack them where you don't think you will be crushed,no capit could have changed it's been like 2 years, and the Burr's,,,,, ok neel or sit in the wrong place you will be burnt up,but I will always go to them .

Omg, Wish I had known about this place years ago!The entire staff has been amazing every time I have gone out there. Great selection of cars/trucks to go through. Extremely fair pricing! This will be my new go to. Thank you to the staff for your help! (Theresa)So much better than other salvage yards that charge a warranty fee without even asking you if you want a warranty, plus other yards you can't return without that warranty.

I would not rule out 101 to possibly find a good score , but here is what you can expect 'from the blonde ladie in front I have to addWalk in ask Fuel door for express van - $35.00 I'm thinking wow! Figured I would check and walk through..Found a white one with 2 quite deep gouges that could have been touched up.. Rust on hinge, 300k mile van .. look at my phone and see how much new ones are and there $22 amazon, showed her a pic and she says, great there ya go!!!yes I would have to spray a coat of white paint on the new one. So would you take $15-20? Nope .. even the gentleman behind her I believe in employees that you're not going to work with him on that? Nope.. and you know it's going to get crushed with the van..so if you're looking for convenience that's what it's all about not saving the customer money.. which is why you go to the salvage yard? They're used parts prices are the same as my business discount at O'Reilly for new ones. That's why u pull r parts probably does three times the revenue.. yes a nice one was there for $10.93 after tax

I bought a part from them and it resulted that the part was broken, took it back and wanted my money back but the guy was being rude and said he would only give me half. He was very careless and even hung up on my son trying to talk to him. He kept refusing giving me my money back. Never going there again.

I used to like going there and walking around the yard so I could pull whatever it was that I needed at a cheaper rate. Unfortunately now they don't allow you to do that and have thus increased their prices

Just got told by the manager that he d sell me any other door for cheaper except for the color I want. Same quality, same door, but because I want it, he s going to charge me more because it s worth more to me. That s not customer service, that s not good business practice, and whether he wants to admit it or not, that IS price gauging. Do what you want, but if you want to be treated right, look for your parts elsewhere.

I called before 4pm and asked if they had a part on hand. I talked to Chris who said they had it. I get here to find out they can t get the part pulled until tomorrow. I even offered to go and pull the part myself which is two bolts. All I get is no, no and no. I ve been coming here for over 10 years and this is some of the worse customer service experiences I ve ever had. If it wasn t for the convenient location I wouldn t have ever came here after my first visit. They overcharge, they can t maintain the road or the parking lot. You ll probably get a flat tire driving in and out. You ve been warned.

Their self-pull yard is a bunch of rat infested vehicle skeletons. Their selection of vehicles is trash, and their employees are mostly a bunch of miserable wannabe grifters.

I Went here to buy a power steering pump for an 09 Subaru, they don't tell you where the car is, just "out in the lot somewhere" I can't even read the numbers on the side of the car because there's a foot of snow on everything and they won't help you find it. They charged $2 to go look. I walked all over the imports and I couldn't find the car. I told the lady I couldn't find the car and could I have my $2 back. She said no that was an entrance fee and it's nonrefundable. Really! I should have just stayed home and mailed them 2 dollars. Don't go here!

Gone to this place with my pops sense I was a child. I still miss when the father owned the place but maybe it's because I miss the old days going with my dad he knew the dad who owned the place and he always made us feel so welcomed even on the days when my father was crabby he left with a smile and a good attitude. Thanks 101 for always being here when you need a part.

I bought a radiator and coolant reservoir for my car for a steal, brought it home started putting it together a couple days later and noticed that one part on the radiator was broken, unfortunate? Yes, but it happens. Sadly they where closed Saturday so I had to buy one at a different location. I brought back the radiator I bought here, showed the lady at the front counter what the problem was and got my money back. Super happy with they place and definitely will be back here as soon as I get my next project car.

Never in my life have I dealt with more unethical, terrible, scummy business. These guys sold me an engine with a bad head & head gasket, and refuse to work with me on the warranty after thousands of dollars worth of labor put into the car. If I can sort things out with these guys, I will 100% be filing a lawsuit.I could not recommend AGAINST these guys more. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.Their warranty is garbage, and their sales guy I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude. Wouldn't let me get a word in, told me I was wasting my time, and told to try calling a week later to get someone else to "give them my sales pitch." His name was George, by the way. Absolutely terrible experience.

Getting a windshield from this place, I was just called and was told it was ready. Next day I call and let them know I was in my way. A good 2 hours before hand. Need to say it's a hour drive one way for me. I get there and they said it has not ready for me and it would take 40 minutes. Long story short this place sucks, costed me money to get there and I get nothing. Thanks

These guys are great! Extremely helpful and helped me out of a real jam. I bought a used engine from these guys and some other parts. Everything works great! I'll be recommending Highway 101 to everyone. I didn't come across a single rude or unhelpful individual. They knew the answers to questions I had due to inexperience. Their place is a bit hard to find, but just trust the GPS. Really great experience, thank you!

This place is a joke, I was told they had a rim I needed, so I drive 45 minutes to get there, only to find out they do not have the rim I needed and I had already paid for. I was also told the price was $50 dollars + tax, but it was charges $64.43, do the math it does not add up, so the over charged me. BE WARNED!! If i could go lower then 1 star I would have.

Bad experience. Will never buy here again. I got a bad Transfer case. Went to exchange for a different one. The second transfer case they tried to give me was visibly in worse shape. Missing extension housing and out put shaft bearing was full of dirt. Parts are dirty leaked all over back of my truck. Had to fight for a refunded only to be charged 25% restock fee

Is it possible to give 0 stars?! Not only has it been 1 time of bad service it s been multiple times! Called to get a part pulled, they didn t pull it cause we didn t pay but when we called they didn t explain to us that we needed to pay over the phone so we went to get the part, wasn t ready. Never got apologized to just got blamed that it was our fault. So we call again a second time to pay and they advised the part would be ready next day, the next day we go and try to get the part, again not ready. Needed another part called and paid they advise we could pick up the same day and they would call us when it was ready, called them at 430 wondering if the part was ready, again not ready. Do not, unless really in desperate need of crappy customer service go here. Horrible customer service and you ll just get lied to anyways.

This place popped up on carparts.com as having a hood I was looking. They marketed the hood as "no damage". I emailed them and no response. I ended up calling and giving them their stock number and they said they didn't know if it was crushed or not. After 15 minutes on the phone they said they found it and it was still on on the car, but could have it pulled by the time I got there. After the hour drive I pulled in and my first thought was this isn't the kind of salvage yard that is going to have their "s" together. I walked up to the tiny run down office and had to start my inquiry from scratch. They didn't know who gave me the information. I ended up waiting for them to locate the part for another 20 minutes and I had to walk the yard to find the hood still on the car. It had massive chipping and scratches. I walked back with a photo of damage in hand and asked if they would come down off their asking price and it was a no. I left vowing never to return.

Very helpful staff. A bit of work to find the parts you need if you're pulling them yourself to save some money. Once you find what you need, the yard workers bend over backwards to help you out. They will lift the vehicle you're pulling from to remove wheels, etc. Then drive your parts up to checkout area. One guy even waked the parts to my vehicle and loaded them for me after I paid. Very impressive business.

-Please like my review if helpful-We have received fantastic service on multiple occasions. They always seem to have the part we need the place is huge the place is awesome they give good deals to the public. We always have them pull or parts to save us time but they have a massive lot with thousands of cars. It's a place for cars go to die and give you a chance to fix yours.

It's a junkyard. They know their inventory fairly well but not always where you'll find the car you're looking for. Prices are reasonable. I needed a part that they had to pull, they pulled in a couple hours as promised. Not the easiest place to find - I did not see any signs for it from the main road - and it was exceptionally muddy the day I was there. I seemed to have parked right between cars that were being picked apart which was a little odd too.

Here's the deal with Hwy 101 Auto Salvage. And to be clear this is not my typical scene so this review is from a inexperienced eye.Online inventory was accurate, place was busy but the team working was patient with a newbie like me. Lots were muddy so WEAR BOOTS. For parts they pull it takes a few days after you pay. They seem to do a great job. They answer the phone when I called and were quick and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.HEADS UP that the street / driveway heading into the place has LEGENDARY BAD POTHOLES.
