My 2016 Chevy Malibu had original factory brakes at 87,000 miles so I knew I would need brakes front and back. I also needed a brake fluid change and a wheel alignment. I had an estimate of $1,000 from another service station. They told me the repair would take 3 days. I called Vision Tire and Auto and they scheduled my car for a Tuesday and completed the repair that day. They also gave me a ride into work and picked me up when the repair was completed which was super convenient. They also have a service where they will pick your car up and drop it off. I didn't have to take any time off work to get the repairs completed. They explained to me why I needed a wheel alignment and fluid change. The repair cost almost exactly the same as the other estimate. Everything about my experience with Vision Tire and Auto was professional and like I mentioned, super convenient. I will not hesitate recommending and using them for future service.

Highly recommend!! This was my first time taking my car here and they were excellent. They were friendly and communicated with me every step of the way. They were even able to fix a problem that I was told by other shops could only be done by a dealer. They completed the work quickly and were transparent with pricing. I will definitely be returning!

I normally do all of my vehicle repairs on my own but if I can't this is the only place I will come to. Amazing people and top quality work. Darren is wonderful & they employ some of the top quality technicians that they can get. Fair pricing too. They don't try to upsell you either which is very common in this trade. I've recommended numerous family & friends in the Lansing area to them exclusively and all of them have been more than pleased.

The people are nice but when I called and explained my issue and car type and asked very detailed questions they told me $75 for inspection so i schefuled the appointment. When my husband took the car in they told him $140. That's a huge jump in price. So that made me feel like they told me a lower price to get me there and then went up. Money is tight and I would've appreciated not to get the bait and switch. I already had it in my mind that I would have them fix my car but after that I didn't feel I could trust the costs

Had a blowout on a company fleet vehicle. Cory at Vision was very helpful in ordering a tire ASAP and finding a replacement when the tire wasn t delivered in time. Service was fast, accurate, and professional. The thank you card and hard candy left in the cup holder really pushed this positive review over top. Thanks to Vision for all of the help.

They are never on time. Whether picking up your vehicle or timeline for repairs they are always late. The excuse is always we forgot oh sorry system error when they just never show up to pick up your vehicle. I have to call every single time to remind them that they made an appt to pick up my vehicle. Not only am I now paying them huge sums of money to repair my car but I have to continue to reschedule my entire life around them forgetting about my vehicle appt.

Great job!I've been back for a tire sensor, balance and another tire repair (on a different tire. Lol) in the last couple is months. I still get great service and transparency. The price point is reasonable and fair. Good people working.

Fixed my boyfriend s car after a black ice incident. When my car started to make a bad noise, I knew I trusted them. They gave a fair estimate and explained what the problem was over the phone, before fixing it. Got it fixed within one day, even if it did take 8 hours. Will go back if I have anymore problems.

i ve been looking for a good shop for awhile and came in based on all the reviews i saw for here. as a younger woman that doesn t know much about cars, i ve had plenty of not so great experiences when dealing with auto shops. i m happy to say, that wasn t the case here. the staff i worked with was friendly and didn t make me feel bad/ uncomfortable for not being sure what my car needed. they explained to me what needed to be done and got it done quickly. oh and darren, the owner, played taylor swift for me while i waited! i ll be back for future work i need

This Place does excellant car care!They are the Dr. Vision little to all your car needs. Jake gives detailed information, making sure you understand the service tech's report of your car. Awesome prices and very quick work. Vision tire loved on my 2006 Honda and I can't be more HAPPY!!If your looking for reliable affordable care care Vision Tire & Auto is where YOU NEED 2 BE!!!

These guys are AWESOME! They are very professional and very helpful. Vision Tire & Auto is our new "go to guys" for repairs. As most Smart car owners know, there are very few places that will service our special little cars. We called and checked all over Mid Michigan and no one was any help. That is until we found Vision in Lansing. It was well worth the 45 minute drive from Swartz Creek to drop it off. The repair bill was extremely reasonable, in fact it came in well under the estimate! They are so good, that I will be taking my Corvette to them if it should need repairs. Thanks guys. We appreciate your help with the Humble Bee. absolutely would recommend this place for if you re in the lansing area. they also helped me understand what was wrong with my car so I never felt they were taking advantage of me. I also greatly appreciate the shuttle service making it easier to drop off/pick up my car. I appreciate darren taking me for a test drive so we could figure out exactly what I was hearing going on with my car so we could get it fixed.

Would recommend this establishment to my Grandmother. I do all the car work I can myself but when I need an expert I search for the best. I happened on this place by chance after being turned away from other places who said they were too busy for the work.Jake got me right in and when I got there everyone was smiling and courteous. As I was waiting two things caught my attention. One customer came in wanting to see the old part they replaced. Steve explained everything thoroughly to the couple without any mystery.Then the manager received a call from an upset customer about a bad compressor after replacing the ac lines. He explained everything and tried to bring the customer to peace with the needed repair. What he told them was absolutely correct and it was refreshing to hear a straight answer rather than BS. Even tried to give him a discount on an already very well priced repair.I'll be back for sure.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The customer service was really good I give that 5 stars. However the estimate that I received I would give 1 star .I received an estimate (which isn't free. They charge to look at your vehicle even if they don't fix it) from them that would've cost me $2,194-$2,251 If they had done the work. Luckily I had a guy with me that knows vehicles, because being a woman I am very skeptical of mechanics. He told me that the estimate Vision was giving me was way more work than what I actually needed to be done for the problem that I had. He even asked the guy giving me the estimate about all the extra work he was including that didn't need to be done... Vision's employee gave some reason about why they couldn't execute the repair that way.I contacted another auto mechanic shop who also agreed that all the work I was told that needed to be done by Vision was unnecessary.They even walked me under my vehicle to show me everything; so I could see for myself what actually needed to be done & exactly what they would be fixing. They fixed my vehicle in under 1 hour and I was only charged $212. Along with the parts and labor having a one-year warranty. Now my vehicle is back to running good as new. And I didn't have to be ripped off by paying over $2000 more than what it actually cost to fix.I suggest if you are a woman and you go to this shop you take a man with you that is knowledgeable in vehicles because if you don't chances are they are going to wipe your bank account by having you pay for things that you don't necessarily need.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

They take great care of you. They will pick your car up and drop it off for oil changes. They will also shuttle you to work or wherever if that is something you need while you get your car fixed. Their time and monetary estimates are reliable, and if anything changes, they communicate immediately.

Ok, so I want to give an honest review of all that happened during my repair. First of all, customer service was fabulous. The estimate however had the wrong price for the part. When my son pushed a little bit they looked the part up and noticed their mistake on the price we were given. I appreciated him double checking and I don t know if that would have been caught during the final cost had he not pushed back a bit. I am thankful though that he double checked. My repair was QUICK and I walked away happy. I did catch something while I was waiting on my car and I HAVE to share this.The owner walked in (addressing his employees) and apologized for being absent and explained he was so busy, told the men up front that he loved them and appreciated them and gave them lunch. My heart was about to explode. It was the sweetest thing ever!!! I will definitely be a return customer because let s be honest, I drive a Ford soooo IYKYK!

They really came through for me. 2 dealerships were not able to diagnose the error light for stop/start feature for at least 72 house. Repair would be another appointment a couple weeks later.Darren said that not only would he look at it that day but would come and pick it up.I was glad to hear that not only could he fix it but also found that the small battery was draining the main one.It was fixed the same day and returned that afternoon.Everyone I've talked to is polite, kind and willing to go the extra mile. This place is awesome. I'm new to the area and needed some work done on my car after slipping on some ice. I picked this place based on their reviews and I'm so glad I did. They were very respectful and transparent with the work that needed to be done. They did not try to upcharge me or suggest any repairs that weren't necessary. They were very cooperative with my insurance which you don't always get from auto shops. They make everything as stress free as possible, highly recommend this place!Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment

I brought my Subaru here multiple times, and will keep coming back. Everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable, and will provide honest feedback and recommendations. The customer service is better than what I have found at nearly all other auto shops, and they help with the logistics of bringing in your car or dropping your car back off with you. I had run out of coolant and my car started smoking. I called them and explained the situation and they were able to send somebody over to take me home and sent out a tow truck. I believe Steve was the one who took me home, he was super awesome and very helpful. They made sure to keep in touch and call me with every update they had. They were super quick and very accommodating. I was only without a vehicle for a few hours and they even let me pick it up after close since I was busy. Super super friendly! They diagnosed the issue and only fixed what needed to be fixed right then and there and suggested I keep an eye on anything else that may be wrong. Turned around a very bad day for me :)

When I had an alignment problem, everyone else I called was scheduling three weeks out or more, they had me in within days. Honest shop with fair prices and fast turn around times. I've used them for everything from transmission work on fleet vehicles at my former employer to routine maintenance on my personal vehicle. Vision was recommended to me by an employee at Costco Tire where I purchased my tires. I needed an alignment and made an appt for 8 am the following day. They were efficient and extremely professional and friendly. They offered to pick me up from home or to take me home while my car was being serviced. My car was done in 45 minutes. They also alerted me to some issues that could be a problem in the future. I am very impressed considering they were $40 cheaper than Belle Tire. I will be coming here in the future. Alex was my mechanic and Sean and Patrick were super courteous and friendly. Thank you Vision!Service: Wheel alignment

Had an Emission Sensor Problem error come up after having taken my car in for an oil change. After having the dealer quote me $5k in repairs including a catalytic converter replacement I figured I'd take it back to Vision JIC. Naturally the error code went away before I could do that so Vision told me to bring it back if it came back... and after a month or so it did. When they got it in the shop they ran diagnostics and found the software was not up to date. Of course when I had taken the car to the dealer (and they should have done the software upgrade) we were under just warranty and a few days later crossed over. Still Vision gave me the documentation and suggested having the dealer take care of it since it was their mistake. Lucky for me they did and I saved around $3k, but had I not came to Vision I would have been out that money and the dealer would have done an unnecessary repair. Thanks Vision!

Wish I could give negative stars. Brought my car in to inspect an error code involving the throttle actuator; and an oil change w/ transmission fluid flush. After their "inspection" I was told that I needed a whole new transmission, throttle body, sway bars, and new tires. After I had said I couldn't believe that's what they thought was wrong with it and accused them of trying to make me do something I didn't need, they said "well you don't really need the sway bars". With a quoted price of almost $11,000. I picked my car up and took it to get serviced for an oil change, transmission fluid, and engine air filter. There they found my air filter had a hole in it the size of a softball... Also spoke with a dealership mechanic and their response was (what I already knew) that the mechanic had over estimated the whole job. For a company that's literal hold tone speaks of being trustworthy and not charging for things you don't need, I find it ironic how they didn't even check my engine air filter during the inspection after I had told them I wanted it checked out... Don't trust them, wouldn't send my worst enemy to even get a quote there.

This place is awesome!! They will come pick up your car for you while you are at work which is super convenient!! They really listen to you and do everything they can to make sure you have a great experience using their services. I have now had multiple services performed on both cars and will be using Vision Tire and Auto exclusively in the future. Rare to see this level of professionalism and integrity in a business was not prepared to be treated with the kind of respect they gave me. At VT&A you are not a number but treated like family and it shows with every interaction and aspect. My car kept complaining about my tire pressure constantly only a week after filling the tires each time, so I called vision. They picked up my car, did some magic on my tires and runs and brought the car back to me. I really like the pick up and delivery option as usually I walk back home with other shops!My tire pressure seems to be holding now, thank you!
