I received great service from Jon Evans when getting my Dodge Ram. He hit the price point I needed for my monthly payments to stay within budget. The truck has performed well pulling our camper during our family vacations last summer. Thank you again!

Ashly was very quick and precise on getting my vehicle diagnosed and at an affordable rate, she is the best service advisor I have ever dealt with at any dealership s in my area. I ve only had to have my vehicles (built like tanks) worked on a few times since purchase. I wouldn t t take them anywhere else. The courtesy and professionalism of all the staff there was impressive to say the least. I woukd refer them to anyone

Express Lane Service was above and beyond. My vehicle needed routine maintenance, oil change and tire rotation. The express advisor was friendly and very helpful. Service was completed in a timely manner. They caught a couple concerns during the inspection and were able to address them which saved me time and made my trip home safer. Thank you Robert, Matt, and Tim!!

I d like to acknowledge James and David in the service department!I brought a used car in I was considering purchasing from a car lot in town. David found several major issues after inspections, never mentioned from the car lot.Not only did they explain everything in great detail, but gave me advice, knowledge and were extremely outgoing! They ve earned my business at the end of the day, and are my go to guys in the Bay City area!!!!

My service light came on while driving. I called Thelen they let me bring my vehicle right over and leave it. They had the nicest young man drive me home. I ended up testing positive for covid the next morning. I called to let them know they ended up delivering my car to me. On top of that what ever they thought might be wrong with my car was not. So they did not even charge me. So accommodating I will for sure use their service in the future. Cannot say enough good about them!

My van broke down on my way to work last Wednesday. Thelen s service staff talked me in to the dealership while the van wasn t running correctly. They quickly got me signed in for service and shuttled me to work. When I called a few hours later they informed me the my transmission had failed at less than 35,000 miles. They also informed me it was highly unlikely that a new transmission would come from Chrysler for 6-8 weeks. They apologized for not having a loaner vehicle for me at that time but would get one to me as soon as one was returned to the deal ship. Day before yesterday when I called to check on the possibility of getting a loaner vehicle the staff apologized because one was not yet available but told me they had other great news and my new transmission was not only there but was in the process of being installed in my van. They put in transmission in and test drove my van. I picked it up this afternoon.Thelen s service staff were wonderful to work with.My thanks to everyone who was involved with my van.

I want to start by saying , The sales department , especially Lynn, have always been professional and very helpful. That being said , the service department couldn t be anymore further from that. I tend to have issues with them every time, they don t return your calls for starters. During my most recent service they kept my car for an extra day and bc they forgot to call me when it was done, they attempted to keep it for a 3rd day bc they wanted to go home instead of picking me up to get me to my vehicle.I also found out after getting my vehicle back that there was another recall repair that needed to be done but since I didn t specifically ask them to do it , they just didn t make the repair or inform me that there was another recall repair needed. If you re looking to buy a jeep , definitely go see Lynn and the sales staff but I would honestly avoid their service department and maybe take your vehicle to another dealer for any issues or services needed.

Thelen Jeep was excellent. They were able to fit me in and take care of my car recall work in a couple weeks. I live out of the area and my local Jeep dealer said it would be months to order parts, etc. I will be buying my next car from Thelen.

Great service team. i broke down with a dreaded 5mph warning they got right to diagnosis found a recall that fixed the problem went out of their way to go to another dealership to get the part and had me operational in 3 hours it was 14 degrees outside had a nice lounge to wait in was a big plus they then found the time to change all of my filters. great job team

This is the worst dealership I have ever had experience with in 30+ years of driving and coming from the auto industry. Took my ram truck in for an oil change. We discussed ordering a crank sensor for preventative maintenance and they were going to investigate an intermittent squeak coming from a potential idler pulley, an intermittent squeak in the suspension and double check battery ground cables. They had the truck for 3 days. They said it would be ready by the next morning. After 3 days I finally called them a 2nd time and demanded my truck. They did not return my voicemail call from the previous day. Upon arrival they informed me that nothing had been fixed in 3 days and that they didn t have a technician to replace a battery terminal cable end (which would take 10 minutes). So they scraped off corrosion off the terminal and changed the oil and that took 3 days. Nothing else was addressed. Except to recommend I bring the truck back for over $2000 worth of work. Some of which, didn t include anything I brought the truck in for. Also, they recommended replacement of suspension parts that they previously told me were in great shape and looked new 1 month ago. I literally showed the the service guy his previous paperwork in their writing, saying what parts were good and what their recommendations were 1 month prior. Lastly, he tells me they are 3 weeks out on their scheduling. If you have a Ram truck. Stay away from this dealership. Worst I have ever seen. FYI, I actually own a business with a service shop. So, I understand how to run a service shop, realistic repair times and skills needed, customer communication, accuracy of vehicle assessments, diagnosis and recommendations. I Also spent 25 years in the CNC automated machine world and cutting tool world, working with every engineer and manager in the auto industry, at every single plant that makes and machines every Powertrain and machined components. With a specialization of gear manufacturing. Unbelievable experience. I will never be back. On the flip side. I ve owned GMC vehicles most of my life and my father retired as a gear development engineer from GM. Labadie GMC Cadillac in Bay City, is the best, and most professional dealership I have ever worked with. I ve purchased several vehicles from Labadie. I clearly need to switch back to GMC. I ve used dealerships in Detroit. I lived in New Jersey, Chicago, Indianapolis, Greenville, South Carolina, and travelled all over the world and used dealerships at all locations. I hope this review helps others avoid the painful experience of working with this company.

Unlike the dealer I purchased the van from, Thelen addressed and fixed all my concerns within 3 hours and it was my first trip to them. I am very pleased with their service! I drove 70 miles and it was worth it!Two months later they finally ordered a new radio and I'm still waiting on the install.

My experience with this dealership was not good at all, (I probably should have read the previous reviews before even attempting to purchase a car from them. It started when I said I m out of state and wanted to do the transaction remotely since I live in New Jersey and have the car shipped to me, (that I was setting up and paying for) seemed like once I said that, the salesman was very short and dismissive with me. I asked a few questions and for a video walk around and after that I was passed off to the finance MANAGER who did nothing but complain to me that he had to answer my questions when it was the salesmans job to do that then, when he found out I wasn t interested in their extended warranty and I was using my own financing through my credit union, he was just as dismissive with me and pawned me back to the salesman! (HOW S THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!) Then we got into the details of it and it was very uncomfortable I was asked for 3, yes, THREE forms of ID which I provided, (NJ Drivers License, Passort card and SS card). Then came the kicker I was asked if I know a notary and I said yes they asked me for their name, ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER! Then they asked me for their notary license number and again, I cooperated and sent them all this being that the notary is someone I know.. They searched for this notary, even though they are licensed and had that info, they came back to me saying they couldn t find them I realized it was because the notary was from New York, (I live in New Jersey about 30 minutes outside NYC), so I explained this and I was reluctantly told, that might work Once we got that nonsense all sorted out they told me they were sending MY LOAN DOCUMENTS directly to the notary , (not knowing that I know this person), and for me to go to them once they receive it and have everything signed and sent back to them.. so I show up at the notary s HOME and we start to go through the paperwork and low and behold there was not ONE single spot for the notary to sign or stamp! NOT ONE!! So, of course they questioned me about this and I had no answer I was thoroughly embarrassed and felt like some sort of low life criminal that couldn t be trusted with my own documents. I reached out to the dealership immediately and was blown a lot of smoke about fraud and that they were protecting themselves as well as me by saying they didn t want just anyone signing my name and committing fraud! I asked how that would even be possible since I sent THREE forms of ID with my signature on them and two of which had my picture which was verified by the sales rep via FaceTime and a walk around, (I could have signed via FaceTime). So they said it would be passed along to the sales manger in the morning and they would reach out to me The next day, this is the text I received . Sir, I know Alex talked to you last night. The state of Michigan requires there to be a notary. Do you still want to go through with the deal? No concern, no empathy nothing but do you want the deal or not!!I then searched the internet and everything I came across when I asked if a notary was needed for a car sale in Michigan was NO, YOU DO NOT. So this is what I replied with I looked all over the internet and couldn't find anything that says a notary is needed. And honestly, I didn't like how this was all handled from the beginning, so I'm going to pass... And guess what I haven t heard a single thing form this dealership since!Needless to say their customer service and people skills are awful and they are only out for the $$$ at the expense of their potential customers !!So I walked away from the deal and would never consider doing business with them even if I moved across the street from them! So beware and do your due diligence before considering doing business with this dealership FYI, I found an identical car with all the same features and 20,000 less miles on it in a different color for less money in Ohio the remote process was seamless and they were super friendly and accommodating. My new to me car is being picked up next week!!

Save your time and go to a different dealer. While the staff were friendly they were less than helpful. I ve been chasing a thunk in my front end. Finally giving in to taking it into the dealer. I asked them in advance if the parts they found to be bad were replaced and it wasn t better if they would do anything. As I had already taken it to a different shop who misdiagnosed. The tech at the counter tells me, we will work with you too make it right if that were to happen After paying $125 for diagnostics they inform me the issue is the lower ball joints. I purchase the ball joint from the same dealer for $570 and some change. To what I expected this was not the problem. It s not even 1% better. So now it needs an alignment. Another $80. Which brings our total to; $775 for two ball joints. Here s the kicker. My alignment is worse now than before the ball joints were replaced. The dealership charged me for the alignment and then proceeds to tell me that they could not adjust the camber or caster how it sits based off dodge design and they can t fix it because it s considered performance work. At this point the dealer is unwilling to do anything to right the situation. So not only am I $775 in the hole but now have to take my car yet somewhere else to be fixed so it can get an actual alignment. This dealership will no longer have me as a customer nor will I refer anyone to them. I would highly recommend Schaefer & Bierlein out of Frankenmuth if you re looking for work to be done.

Very disappointed in the service department. Had my vehicle for over a week with nothing being done. Was told they couldn't get a code reader to work because of the issue I was having. They just wanted to change parts until they figured out which one was actually right but charged me for every part of the changed. When I went to pick up the vehicle it was in the same condition with a torn apart dash that I left it when I took it to them so they didn't even touch it. Yet I got charged $125 for supposed diagnostics fee but yet no diagnostic was ever done.

I was in for service which I was told would take 3 1/2 hours. After 4 1/2 hours with no call, I decided to go back and ask. I was told that my Jeep was still out back and they were in a meeting. I was dumbfounded. They could not take the time before the meeting to drive my finished vehicle to the front so I could be contacted. Who knows how long my vehicle had been done. That s customer service. My next visit was warranty work on a broken part I had ordered. They were supposed to call when the part came in. After 3 weeks with no call, I called them and my part was in. I tried call Service to make an appointment (service has never answered my calls or returned a call when I left voicemail) and left a voicemail. After 2 days with no return call I called the salesperson I worked with and he made my appointment. So a week later I showed up for my appointment. The job they had to do ( replace a window in my soft top) takes me about 10 minutes too but was an hours service. After waiting 40 minutes, a device person came in to tell me they had ordered the wrong part. It took 40 minutes to discover this? No apologies but it would be 7-10 business days before my part would be in. Once again I gave 14 business days (there was a hold) and had to call in. Of course my part was in but again: no call. Again, no answer at service and two voicemails left. Also two voicemails left with my salesperson (he did apologize that his voicemail wasn t working correctly) and no return calls. Finally, got through the following week and was able to talk to the salesperson who said to come in the following week at 8:30 am on Thursday. I arrived and the service person came over and asked if I had an appointment. I explained that the salesperson told me to come in so I thought so. He mumbled a comment and walked away to his computer. I waited in my vehicle not knowing at this point if I had an appointment. The service person, not saying anything to me, went over to an empty vehicle where he spent about 5 minutes trying to start it. He walked back to his computer and I asked if I had an appointment. He said I m taking your paperwork back now it should just be a few minutes. It was done in about 40 minutes. I told my salesperson, who offered me a free oil change, that I will no longer be using Thelen s Service Center and due to no fault of the sales department, I will not be a returning customer. The service department does not even deserve one star but it s the least the survey allows.

My daughter took her Jeep Cherokee there for service. They had it for almost three weeks and "fixed" it for $2700.00. She had it less then a week when it had the same issue and threw the same codes. They had it for almost three weeks when they called and told her that it would be $12,700.00 to get it running! My husband started googling the codes and found out there was a Mfg. safety recall for that exact failure. He confirmed that the whole thing should be covered under that recall. He called Thelen Service back and the only response was "well, those parts aren't available". I'm not sure what kind of shady scheme they are trying to pull, but we took the vehicle to another dealership that immediately informed us of the recall.

I had warranty work done (software update on entertainment systems). It took 2 days, so we were without a vehicle unexpectedly and I had to keep following up. They rarely answered the phone or replied to voicemails, so I had to keep trying. The entertainment system does seem to be fixed though.

I decided it was time for a new vehicle and after doing some searching online I wanted to check out a Grand Cherokee L.We went into Thelen and Jake was more than willing to help us out! He showed us multiple different vehicles and when we didn t find one we loved he sat down and helped us order one. He explained everything to us As we built it and helped us pick the perfect vehicle for us.He said it would take about 6-8 weeks to come in, updating me throughout the entire process, and it came in 4 weeks instead of the 6-8!It hit the dealership on Monday 8-23, and I brought it home tonight 8-26!He texted and called me, as well as the bank to get everything in order and made the whole process completely painless!Cynthia, the finance manager was also amazing in explaining everything as we went through all the paperwork!I would recommend Thelen; and Jake Fink to anyone looking to make their car buying experience a breeze!

Repairs took 61 days to complete. They stated they were waiting on parts for 4 weeks, but it s a jeep dealership/body shop? How did they not have the most basic fender/wheel parts? And why did it take so long to get them? Shouldn t a jeep dealer get them quicker than anyone? Also, I let them know when I was coming to get my car and when I got there it was out 3 rows away in the parking lot and she just said it s out that way and gestured with her hand towards the lot. So, I had to go find it and It was pouring rain out that day. If they would have told me the first week it would take two months, I would have towed it to a different shop. They had no rentals available the entire time so i had to pay $1,700 for a rental from Enterprise. How could all their rentals be out for two months? Do all of their repair jobs take 2 months? It was a strange experience overall. They should turn business away if they don't have the time. I called the day of my accident and asked if they would be able to do repairs and if I should have it towed there and they said yes. I have heard other similar reviews from their other customers.

I was very happy with Matt. He assisted me whenever I had a question. I was definitely unsatisfied with the fact it took 3 and a 1/2 weeks to get my vehicle serviced because firstly the tech took vacation and secondly he was pulled off my vehicle to service an employee s vehicle and I wasn t contacted to advise of either of these situations. Once I discussed my dissatisfaction with Matt my vehicle was completed in two days. Matt was in the end the only reason I was satisfied.

Jeff was great! I recommend Jeff Martin if you are looking to buy. I love my new Jeep! I have had bad experiences at other dealers. Being a woman I was made to feel stupid. Everyone at Thelen was awesome!!!!! They listened to me and were very helpful. I got exactly what I wanted.
