They did their absolute best to try to get me a new key for my 2007 chrystler pt cruiser, but three places I visited, including this dealership, had issues trying to program my new key chip. They had told me they would charge me either way to give it a try, with a 50/50 chance at success, but after they tried, they actually said not to worry about payment and let me slide. I have never in all my days of working with any dealership, be it Ford, GM, or chrystler, had them let me slide on at least a service fee or hoist fee to simply look at the vehicle, I was amazed to say the least. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I do not often give five-star reviews, but with this level of satisfaction, I can't help but give a glowing review. Thanks, Thelen! If I have any issues, you can guarantee I WILL be back!

Worse place ever Anne from body shop was rude and acted like when I called to find out what was going on with my car she was annoyed by me asking her to do her job. I will never go back to you guys as long as the lady works there. I didn't appreciate it after going though a nightmare of my car being stolen she could have been alot nicer. I was already stressed and I wasn't rude to her even when she was on top of it she was rude to my insurance agency. Not cool thelen not cool.

Jason in the parts department was a huge help in getting some lugnuts off our Volkswagen (you know how those security nuts can be). So thankful for the amazing level of service!

This dealership needs to be put on legal notice about their deceptive practices, processes and procedures from the State of Michigan Department of Licensing Regulatory affairs. My car now has a misfire after being repaired at their facility.Enter at your own risk!

Ruben was the most patient, thorough and professional salesperson I have ever experienced. He treated me like I was his main priority even though he had other customers. 5 test drives later :) thanks to Rueben and Angelo I drove away in a lovely 2024 VW Atlas Cross Sport. Great teamwork!

Ruben took exceptional care of me throughout the whole process of buying my 2014 Jeep Patriot! I truly think I couldn't have been treated any better.. I didn't buy my Grand Cherokee here, but Thelen has been my home for service for three years. With two Jeeps and seven dealerships over thirteen years, Thelen unquestionably has been the best of all by far. Their service has been perfect - every time. They explain what they are doing and done clearly, and answer questions without becoming condescending (rare).5/5 - Would recommend.

I just bought my crosstrek and one of the first things I did once I got comfortable with my car was go to Bay City to see my son. That took me to the time I needed to get an oil change. Calling I found they were booked up for 6 days and I couldn't wait. So, without hesitation they told me to come in and they would slip me in. It was a couple hours wait, but they came to me every once I awhile to let me know they didn't forget about me, and they made me feel special even with the crowd of people all waiting to get in or get out.

Have purchased a couple cars from their used car inventory in the past . I dealt with Gregg Katt when purchasing. He had great knowledge of the vehicles and was very friendly to work with. He made me feel like family. Overall customer experience was great . I will be back when looking for another vehicle ..

Purchased a used jeep Wrangler and was very disappointed . After a 60 miles ride home it was leaking rear end fluid and the bracket that holds the gas take was rusted so bad the tank almost fell off. I contacted the sales manager and also called the owners and they said " it is not Their problem" Never again! Worst dealership ever.The jeep could of caught fire if the gas tank had fallen off,also had to put $1250 in the rear end after driving it only 60 miles, this is after their mechanic checked it out.NEVER Trust these guys!!!!

I went in 6/21 to get my car looked at and Ashley from service was an absolute doll! Gave me an estimate and sent me on my way! Also spoke with Scott and Lynn in sales and they were the most pleasant salesmen I have dealt with in my life. If I could give this rating more stars just from dealing with these 3 people I would!

After having my vehicle at another shop that wasn t Dodge specific I decided to take it to Thelen hoping they would know the problem as they re supposed to be Dodge specialists. Well after 29 days and $615 they returned it to me with the same problem it had. Needless to say 2 days later I m still waiting for a call back to let me know if they re going to do something. They spent minimal time on it and only worked on it when I would call. It wasn t test driven after they changed the part that was supposed to fix it. I paid for their knowledge not to throw parts at it. Sadly I won t be taking it back, I can t afford for them to have it sit in their lot another month.

About a year ago I brought in my jeep that had been stolen, and would no longer run. First off, my insurance company had it towed to their lot. Almost a week later of calling everyday to see if my car had arrived, we decided to drive into the lot ourselves, and sure enough, it was back there. Finally they started working on it and after weeks and weeks of constant repair and calling back and forth they said that my car was finished. They gave me two separate keys, because they didn't bother to math the door key to the ignition key. When I started it up, it was loud, and stuttering. Which wasn't like that before. By the time I drove halfway to my house it had shut off three times on me when I was parked at a red light and the whole car would stall, making me restart the car. The final time I had decided to just pull into a parking lot and call it quirs, it shut off while I was turning a road and almost made me collide into another car. We had to call them to tow it back, and they spent yet another few weeks trying to "fix" it. All in all, they had to total my car. I would not go here again.

I've purchased 3 vehicles in the past from this dealership. Always had a great experience. Three weeks ago when I spoke with a sale person he never even bothered to return my phone calls. Very different than my past dealings.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I paid them 5000 to fix my truck and it has been back there 4 times for the same problem. they offer way below what your vehicle is worth. If you like paying to get your vehicle fixed and like taking it back repeatedly for the same thing because there shop guys don't know what there doing, go here. The owner don't care about you or your family just how much you want to over pay for anything done there. And they offered 11000 less then there competition.

Great dealership to work with. Doesn t matter if you are shopping for a base model Mazda, or a to line Audi, they will spend time with you to make sure you are happy with buying from them. I would definitely buy here again. Very trustworthy and upfront about everything.Service department is real good too, friendly no matter what you need.

Compare to other dealers I purchased from, their salesman needs work, not sure if I will buy from them or maybe ask for different salesperson. I got the impression they cared more about the money and less about the quality of the used vehicle they offered.

Ruben was a fantastic salesman he helped explain the features of my new Audi S6 and was very courteous and honest throughout the process. I ve bought many vehicles over the years and Ruben made sure I was taken care of. He helped transfer plates and insurance. He took all of the headaches out of the process. I highly recommend Ruben should you need a new or used vehicle.

One of the better dealership experiences I have had. Went there with the intention of test driving a CPO A4 they had and ended up driving a few different vehicles. Ruben (my salesman) was super helpful and communication was fantastic. I also met the rest of the sales staff as we chatted about my B7 S4 that I drove in. Ended up going a different route with my purchase but still enjoyed my experience at this dealer. Thanks guys!

Went to Thelen this past week to have a burnt out headlight bulb replaced on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. Quoted me $260. Was told, reason for the price, because of the battery placement and they needed to remove battery in order to get to the bulb---extra time and extra labor. I may be a woman, but I did do some research prior to bringing my vehicle in. Told him I knew where my battery was located and asked to have technician show me. Gentleman excused himself----make sure it was safe for me to enter the work area. Came back 10 minutes later and told me he misspoke. Now the price was less. Gladly pay labor charges----seriously, charging me for the use of your tools? Haven't been to Thelen since 1992. Now I know why. Seriously---treat your customers the way you would want your family to be treated. Honesty apparently isn't your policy. People always speak more about bad experiences than they ever do the good experiences. Won't be back. Good luck.

Just bought our first new vehicle from Mikayla Cook at Thelen Chrysler in Bay City, MI.Go see her if your in for a new vehicle. She is a rock star. She was patient and professional. Very knowledgeable when it comes vehicle's and what you need to know when your buying new. Thank you for your time.
