Absolutely amazing customer service very helpful and informative. They definitely put a lot of care into their job. They have warm coffee for customers as you walk in, it s a very welcoming environment.. Vic is an amazing employee and he is very helpful. You can t get service like this everywhere. I highly recommend doing business with these guys over here.

Made an oil change appointment for 8:30am. I was told I had to wait for the mechanics to come in which would only take a few minutes. I wait for two hours and no update or change. Instead workers have a snowball fight inside the shop. Extremely disappointed with professionalism and work ethics here. Do not recommend if you expect an oil change to be done in a timely manner. And when asked for time update, worker just points and says they re working on it. Rude and not helpful.

I recommend this place to fix your car especially if you have to deal with extended warranty with your car. Joe and Danielle are very professional and patient in dealing with the claims and concerns. They tried their best to help my claims to go through. But please also be aware because the claiming process is often not easy so customers need to be patient too. I am glad that 80% of my claims went through and in general they are fast and quick in fixing cars. Thanks also to Christopher for his patience in repairing the control arms and mounts for my car. And thanks Jon for explaining the situation of my exhaust, I highly appreciate that. Thank you for being honest and professional.

Did my alignment wrong, having to drive one and half hours back to closest pep boys to have them fix it. Also did not top off fluid for oil change, or clean the immense amount of grease they left on my steering wheel.

Updated review........ Let me add I still didnt learn from past experiences I again go for a repair, the front desk guy I tell you has so much patience and is the nicest guy I meet in that store he takes my keys tells me he will call me with a price. I go home about 30 minutes to get a call he breaks down of the $2,800.00 bill front, struts all 4 tires, wheel bearing alignment, some other things, and so on. I said ok. A few hours later the guys calls your vehicle is ready come get it I rush right over I pay it, running heavy and I take my keys the guys says thank you for choosing pepboys and I say have a great night and im off. Get home ran inside because of the rain. The next morning I decided to check on my vehicle to my surprise wow I still have my old tires on my vehicle they never put the new tires on my vehicle I call them explain to them and they sound on the phone like I'm lying I get on my vehicle while on hold and right when I'm pulling up to their parking lot they get back on the line can you come back and I reply I'm pulling up as we speak and here I am waiting in the waiting room $2,800 later 2 days in here when I could be having brunch with my family. Well, I learned this time I will be going to midas from now on. I'm done with this company they are down the road from my home but not worth the lies and the headaches. People learn from my experiences.Let me start of by saying I have been going here for a couple of years and service has been good, front desk Customer service is amazing but Customers be aware of what goes on in the back with your vehicles! I have notice everytime I go in for an oil change I put in for tire rotation and I notice it never gets done so today I said I will mark my rims with letters RP for rear passenger RD rear driver and to my surprise again it wasn't done I spoke to the front desk clerk and showed him my markings and he had them do it but my paperwork said it was done. He said he would have a chat with the technician about it. I told him if the tech would lie about doing the work what else would he lie about work he has not performed. So please be aware of work they do to your vehicle. Just a warming people.

I brought my truck for tires and rim installation. The technicians here at this location were absolutely awesome! I could not be happier, friendly, efficient, honest and realistic. Went above and beyond to make sure it was done correctly.

If I could give them a zero star I would. Save the video boys, your going to need it. Busted in lying to cover damage you did and trying charging for work that they admitted they never did when I got the PD involved. Thank god for time stamps and videos.. .neither lie and will prove allot!!! Thank god for their own admissions to the officers about the differences of what they say, vrs what they do and what they dont do.BEWARE RIP OFFS, tries charging for things not done, causes more damage then tries to charge me for it to fix there mess up.Totally incompetent mechanics, manager and district manager who was in building all day.Record your car in full 360 top to bottom and underneath, it will save you time disputing what they allege!

Great Black Friday deals on tires. Buy 2 get 2 saved me quite a bit of money. Easily able to find an appointment online and get in and out or their shop as expected.

I made an appointment at the Springfield Mass. Pep Boys to have a brake light bulb replaced.When I got to the service center the garage manager quoted me $33.00. Ok! He took the keys and said it would be a little while before he could get me in. I asked how much a little time would be and he said an hour or so.I asked him what was the purpose of making an appointment and he replied appointments don't mean anything it just puts my information into the system.I took the keys back ,went home and made an appointment at Midas for the next day I was in an out in 10 minutes for $22.00.

They did diagnostic on my car they said i need 3 different parts which ran about 4500 so i had an inspector go out to check come to find out out of the 3 parts i only needed 1 which it was a couple hundred bucks.. Big difference, then when confronted about it they got all defensive and hanged up in my face. People if u dont really check whats going on with ur car they will hey over on u. Who knows how many people they did it to already Never again would i do business with them. When i finally got my car i ened up with a check engine light on when the only thing they were doing was suspension work then as im driving taking a right big hard scrap noise underneath. Its just so much problem with this company i could write a whole essay. Corporate said they going to reach out to me and haven t heard a thing its been a whole week HORRIBLE!!!!

NEVER AGAIN. I just went in for my 9am oil change appointment and as soon as I walked in the guy at the desk had a crazy attitude. I told him I had an appointment at 9, he said It s gonna be awhile . I asked why and he goes there s 3 cars ahead of you from 8am with a condescending tone. Frustrated, I said what s the point of the appointment and he gave me even more attitude saying he only had 1 guy working, talking slowly as if I was stupid and didn t understand him (giving off major sexist vibes because I m a woman at a repair shop and surely I don t know what I m talking about). Meanwhile him and another guy were just standing there making conversation when I walked in. I ended up just walking out because that interaction was absolutely ridiculous. That guy shouldn t be at the front dealing with customers if he has 0 customer service skills or common decency. I ve been coming to this pep boys for 10 years, but don t worry I ll take my money elsewhere to save this guys fragile ego.

It took them two hours to finally get me out. It was just an oil change. This happened before and took care of me after, so i decided to go back and it was the same. My appointment was scheduled. After I complained it took about 15min for the oil change.

Nope, never again. Scheduled an appointment for 10am to get two tires and an oil change. Arrived 10 minutes early, checked in and was told it would take about 90 minutes . At 11:30 I look outside and my vehicle is in the same spot I parked in.Ask service advisor when my car would be taken in since I had been already been waiting for 90 minutes. She looked surprised and said the technician was bringing it right in.After ANOTHER 90 minutes of waiting with a son communication from the Pep Boys staff, my vehicle was finally done. The cashier was kind enough to comp the $40 oil change but it should NOT take THREE HOURS to install and balance two tires and change the oil.Only reason I was there was because I was at a dog show at the Eastern States Expo, and I normally go to a Pep Boys closer to home, and the tires I got are the same as what I already had on the back of the car.I ve never had such a negative experience at any retail/service establishment, and after reading reviews, it appears I m not the only one that has had an issue with Pep Boys on Boston Road in Springfield, MA

There aren't enough superlatives to describe just how awesome Joseph and Danielle were and are. They place an emphasis on excellent customer service even without an appointment. Just a fantastic experience all the way around. Would definitely recommend the Boston Rd crew to anyone.Thanks guys and gal!

Will never return. Call to make an appointment. Got all my information wrong. Went to the appointment was told I should sell my car and if they ended up having to do the work, they were gonna have to keep my car for a week. Got no phone call for updates. Called the next day and was advised a claim has been submitted to the insurance company but no other information to call back. After several hours and no callback ended up going there to be advised that I can take my car at any point they weren t doing anything and paperwork was incomplete. Terrible service, would not recommend going there.

I went in for a routine oil change and asked for my tires to be rotated. When I got my car back, the tires were NOT rotated. Also they tried selling me tires saying mine were wearing down. My tires are only a year old. Had my husband check them and there is nothing wrong with my ties.

I made an appointment late on Sunday for early Monday morning to get new front brakes. The manager, Jacob,advised me that the shop was short handed but they would get my car serviced as quickly as possible. Jacob then proceeded to work on my car while answering the phone every time it rang. Very impressive customer service!!

Phenomenal experience getting new tires put on my vehicle. Service was prompt and straightforward without any runaround. They also identified brake pads/rotors that needed replacement (which I had been putting off for months anyways) and called midway through the tire replacement with a quote on the additional cost for the brake pad replacement. Despite the additional work added on at the last minute, all four tires and the new brake pads/rotors were put on in about 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Will definitely be returning!

Staff is nice and well meaning, but don't expect online appointments to happen on time- I set an appointment ahead of time but was still there for hours. I paid for 4 tires and had to pick one up on a different day because they didn't have it in stock- when I arrived on the scheduled day they couldn't find it. Half an hour of sitting there later they say they accidently sold it to someone else so I ended up having to come back again later that day. Majorly inconvenient.

Went for an alignment and I had to go back a second time within a few days because they did it wrong. Decided to get a tire rotation with the alignment fix and Even the second time around they somehow made it worse, and did not rotate my tires. Their professional and customer service was good but whoever works on the cars in the back does not actually do it correctly. I wouldn't recommend this location personally.

Yes about three months ago I went there to get a synthetic oil change I never had a lifter tic before then now I have a tick after the synthetic oil change I am not happy

Ordered the tires and scheduled appt online. Arrived for my appt and was told they did not have the tires until 4 days after the scheduled appt. I took time from work to arrive for an appt only to be told they don't have the product. No offer for a comparable product, just an oh well our online system sucks. I will not be returning.
