Most of the workers were very nice and respectful. Emmanuely worked on my trucked and did a great job. The parking lot was pretty packed so he even guided me out. Not a bad experience at all.

Hello everyone and be careful where you take your truck nowadays.Had major issue with an engine, people are rude and unprofessional. At the rate of 175$ an hour it is better to go with the dealership and not worry about any of this.Came to tow the truck and my hood was open, someone was putting parts back together when it was parked and no-one supposed to touch it.Unbelievable.Here are some pictures.

We got stranded with our RV and had to wait for parts. The staff was so friendly and tried to help us in any way the could. The hourly rate is steep but they are generous with the hours they calculate! Thank you Jimmy, Mance and others

Would much rather leave zero stars!! This place is an absolute rip off. I have no idea how they re still in business unless it s the business of robbing peoples money. They stole seven grand and produced zero work. They required a deposit for special parts that needed to be ordered (before any work performed) and could not come up with of a receipt of said parts to submit to insurance. They said they didn t have the capability of getting a dealer receipt?!? So now our company is out $7000 for non refundable special parts that may or may not have been ordered and replaced in a vehicle that was later deemed a total loss after adjusting the estimate 2 more times lol ..If someone recommends this place, please run as fast as you can in the opposite direction!!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with stay away they came out last night to my truck told me they can definitely do something the guy missed with my battery and had my starter smoking then ran to his truck and said he was too cold to think and charged me 980 dollars for missing around with my battery for 5 mins

Trying to find someplace for an RV oil change and wound up at Dave's. The labor cost, products and inspection cost were all fair and expected. The techs also helped with a registration issue. Pleasant place, good people and definitely will return.

It was Friday morning of the Memorial Day weekend (2023) and, after sleeping in the Northampton, MA Walmart parking lot, our bus (class A motorhome) would not start. Bill of Bill s Repair Service came out and got the bus started for us right away - highly recommend! We still needed to find the problem and get it fixed. We called many RV and truck repair services, including nearby Camping World, but no one was interested in helping us on a holiday weekend. That is until we called Dave s Truck Repair in Springfield, MA. It was midday Friday and we were told to come now so we drove nonstop to their shop. They were able to determine and fix the problem right away - a blown fuse. Even more impressed as they could have told us just about anything. We bought a couple extra fuses, just in case. What a relief! Would recommend Dave s Truck Repair.Service: Electrical

Got a quote of $145.00 for alignment .. total cost was $360.00 for front end alignment on sprinter RV. I was told afterwards that it was per axle and their machine only does 4 wheel alignment. They left steering wheel at 11:00 position and it pulled to right. They corrected it following day. There was also a $25.00 hazard material charge ?????$145.00 x 2 = $290.00 not $360.00. I also had them replace frt struts, and quoted 3 hours for labor and said it took 3 hours they added an extra $100 on top of quote. When I questioned it I was told I should have taken it elsewhere. There s plenty of honest repair shops. Stay away from Dave s Truck RepairBelieve if they could have charged for staple on bill they would have!!!Seeing my keys were held hostage until I signed for charge, credit card couldn t help me. They suggested small claims for over chargeSo now you admit $145 per axle for alignment and only needed front axle aligned please explain the $360 charge

Dave s put the wrong size tires on my trailer, a smaller tire, which caused the tires to skip and wear out within 30 days. Also they ordered an installed the wrong door seal. My invoice was for 5k. I would not recommend that others use company. Read all reviewsServices: Tires, Body & Trim, BrakesServices: Tires, Body & Trim, Brakes

What can I say....Brendan was nothing but helpful, polite and diagnosed my ac problem within 45 seconds of popping the hood. (2017 volvo 780) called at 745am was in a bay by 845am and ac was working great by 1130, Paid(very very fair price) and was on my merry way. This is a last minute ac job in August. They came through for me when I needed a great shop the most. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We requested assistance with a trailer. They charged us for 90 miles at $5.00 a mile. We were nowhere near 90 miles away, we disputed this and we were told that s our normal charge . The part was only $10.00 that our driver needed for our trailer. We ended up with a final bill of $1,051.61. Very dishonest company and an extreme rip off we do NOT recommend doing business with this company.

Anthony did a wonderful job. He stuck with it in repairing our tire bearings. It took an extra long time due to the damage that had occurred. He kept us informed and was relentless in finding custom parts and helping us out. I would highly recommend this company and certainly Anthony. Thanks so much Anthony, Team MistressServices: Tires, BrakesServices: Tires, Brakes

RV OWNERS BEWARE. Brought my 36 ft 2009 Itasca RV to Dave's for Tire check, oil change, front end shake, AC blowing warm air, new batteries, inspection sticker. I am not complaining in regards to parts pricing as it was average. I m not complaining about the 145.00 per hour labor charge. I am however appalled at the amount of labor hours charged. It took a week and half to get the hours breakdown as the original bill only charged a lump sum.Remove 4 tires and inspect, replace 1 tire with customer supplied tire .charged 362.50 labor( i ordered tires from them but they could not get them in time, local company replaced all 6 tires put them on rims balanced in 1hour)Replaced 3 batteries located under step by door ...charged 290 labor to install batteries just labor as battery cost was 425.00Pressure tested Chassis AC replaced freon ($66.00 for the freon) charged $435.00 labor.OIL change (47.64 in oil and filter) charged $145.00 labor.Checked front end 145.00 Labor ( still shaking and roaming)Checked lights found 1 side marker lens missing charged 6.40 for the lens and $145.00 labor to install it.Total labor 1232.50 Total parts 570.61 total Misc 70.00 total 1873.11 They put a discount of -362.50 on a bill that does not add up. They gave me a bill that read 2138.11 - 362.50 discount plus tax for 1811.27.To sum up I had to pay 1232.50 in labor to have a tire check, put on 1 tire that I had to bring to them, an oil change, replace 1 side marker, check and refill AC and front end inspection (that I did not get any results of) and install 3 batteries just install them i had to pay additional for the batteries.I had to pay in cash or Credit card and I had to sign a separate hand written form with my CC Number on it saying I agreed with the charges or they would not give me my RV back. At no time was I called to approve these charges. I approved the battery purchase never being told they would charge me almost $300 to install them.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Call the shop told me what it would cost for them to come out. It was very high but was on 90 with no idea what was wrong. So the tech got there told me no power to ecm or its bad get a tow. Once I know that I called kw found where my wire went and found the fues and fix it only cost 1008 for that information so o would see if other places are cheaper 1stService: Electrical

In my 2 years of driving, never had an unexpected experience with road service!! I Had to pay a total of $1151.68 dlls for a simple leak service that it only lasted 15 min, at 18 miles from the location and ended up paying 550 dlls for labor !! This is outrageous and unfair. This company takes advantage of hard working people like us. We supposed to help each other not to take advantage!! Shame on you Dave s Truck Repair INC

Dave's has very good techs, but do your research on your truck and the cost of parts you will need for the problem so you want be surprised. Since they centralized their business they strive to get your truck back on the road quickly as possible although you may have to pay a premium price for local parts. I would have gave them five stars but cost of their parts is on the high end .

I had them do some work nothing serious.. thinking the bill be 1000 or 1500 the most.. got the bill it was 3200. Wow!!! I had to pay or they keep my truck. So I paid and left feeling like I got played... I will void going there again... I told the guy that charged me to have the owner call me before I leave the review. No call so I assume the owner doesn't care if he get bad review..

Traveling in RV to Maine from Miami, FL with a short layover in Massachusetts. Noticed front steering tires were wearing unevenly. Friend recommended Dave's Truck Repair. Took us right in, diagnosed problem, and had us back on the road the very same day. Had researched possible issues with tires and Dave's was spot on! Excellent service and extremely accommodating. Would highly recommended. Can't find this type of service anywhere in Miami!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

This shop is extremely slow when it comes to repairs and answering questions about the work being done. The first truck they fixed in a decent turn around at a low cost. Upon picking up the first truck we asked if we could drop off another truck to be fixed that was having the same issue. They said not a problem. Almost a week after it was dropped off they called and asked why it was in their yard. They had our truck for a month. Every time I called for an update they pushed the date back. I understand things happen, medical emergencies, and other things out of our control. However, a month is ridiculous for a fuel issue and a hitch. The manager was argumentative when I expressed my frustration after a month of excuses. They do not follow original quotes and take it upon themselves to triple the quote. We also have a business to run and they didn't seem to understand that. USER BEWARE!

Being from Wisconsin and delivering cheese out to this area every week, I've had to use Dave's a few times for both major and minor repairs. They have always gone out of their way to make sure I've been taken care of. Their service techs are very courteous and the office staff is very friendly.

This place was a big rip off, We paid $ 740.00 for a 5' air line. They charge for mileage, of 3.00 per mile, $ 145.00 hour for labor, and a service call fee. They really took advantage of us, and I would recommend you fine someone else if you need repairs.

Had my transmission replaced here, and it's been working perfectly since. They took me right in when everyone else had a pretty long wait. They drove me to my hotel and picked me up when my truck was ready. Nice people - very friendly!

They are usually available for us to bring in the vehicles. Work is reliable. Expensive and customer service could improve.

Late yesterday afternoon the technicians and manager at Dave's Truck Repair treated me with such kindness and consideration for my emergency flat I was overwhelmed. They took my work van in right away, put my spare on and checked the whole vehicle for me. They not only were fast and thorough but they refused to charge me for the help. This is the best shop and the nicest, happy crew I have ever met at a mechanics shop. I will always suggest this shop to anyone needing truck repair in the future!Grateful for the help,Charlene Carsonp.s. PALM Tree truck :)

WARNING!!!! This place will rip you off! Came in to get a trailer washout and they charge $60 but charged me $90 because they said there was debris! Debris? Of course there's going to be debris from pallets and stuff that's why I wanted it washed out! Blue Beacon or truck stop wash out only charge $35 to $45 and I brought my trailer in way worse than that! Even after hauling sod normal truck wash places don't even bat an eye! I bet these guys with charge $300 if they saw a trailer after it hauled sod! Stay away from these guys they will scam you!
