Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They put a scratch in my rim half way around it, and nicked into the power coat during a flat repair. First time the tire has every been off rim. Car doesn't even have 17k on it. Manager said they didn't do, and would do nothing about it. Flat out told me it was a $40 flat repair so I shouldn't of brought that nice of car to them and it's my fault for having black rims. All they tire equipment is really old and obviously not working right. Spend the extra $10 at a reputable place and save your self the time and hassle and extra money from having to get your rim repainted. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Called several places to get new tires for my 2020 Jeep. Roland s had the best price and we re in stock with appointments the next day! Everything was done within the promised time frame! Store was clean - waiting area is brand new and staff were friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely return!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! We got 4 brand new tires about a week ago from Roland s and when we got our car back the TPMS light was on. Upon further inspection of our car we noticed that the metallic stem was replaced with a rubber one without our knowledge. Called them to fix it, they didn t own up to it, brought the car in to recalibrate it but nothing was fixed because there is no sensor there anymore. Fine, we let it slide. Today, we had to put a spare on because we had a flat and while removing the lug nut, we noticed it was CROSS THREADED and the only way for us to get the spare on was to SNAP IT OFF or we couldn t get to work. When we called to let them know that somebody cross threaded the lug nut, they gave us every excuse possible to not own up to it. These are fairly newer studs with no rust and they were the only one s who have touched this car (we bought this car a month ago.) They told us that we should ve brought the car back before snapping off the lug nut but there was literally NO WAY we could ve gotten anywhere with the flat. We were not going to pay for a tow to get to Somerset when we are in the middle of Fall River, and instead of just putting in a new stud over something that is OBVIOUSLY their fault, they told us we can come down and work out a price. For a new stud? Absolutely ridiculous, I hope everybody sees this and stays away!!

These guys have been around for years, fair pricing and great service. They helped me out QUICK when my trailer got a flat tire right near their location. Had the tire in stock, I was in & out in 15 min, if that. Came thru when I needed them, thumbs up from me!

Matt helped me out and he was great! I didn t know much about the tires I wanted and he took the time to look up different tires that I would possibly like. He found ones that fit my Jeep perfectly. He ordered the rims and my tires were on my Jeep two days later. Definitely will be coming back for other modifications. Thanks Matt!

When I saw the nail in my tire on my way to bring my daughter to her class I felt defeated, knowing that whatever I imagined id be paying for a repair was gonna hurt. In addition, with just 1 car, I figured this would be a pain getting it fixed while I still got my child to and from school etc. I stopped in late at 3 just to ask for someone to look at it and let me know what Id be looking at in terms of scheduling so I could get it fixed. They offered to take the car right in. I did not expect people who are doing a physically demanding job to take on another task so close to quitting time, and I wouldnt have blamed them. Not only did they get us right in, but they repaired the tire. I had been driving a work vehicle for a long time and this was the first time in a while I had to deal w a tire issie I was gonna pay for, but I expected to hear "you need 4 new tires, a new gas cap, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves, and thatll come to about $1000.00." Nope. They took great care of us, were super friendly, and really took the stress off of my day. Cant say enough. Thank you.

Matt Gomes just made my tire purchase so convenient! I needed 4 new tires and he was able to quote me an unbelievable price, even including a teacher discount, bringing the cost down to just over $100 per tire. He took all of my information so that I could just drop my vehicle off and pick it up when it was completed. I am extremely satisfied with Matt s assistance and Roland s service and highly recommend them for all of your tire needs.

I'm new to the area and asked for a tire specialist... every one pointed me to Roland's. I can see why. Priced well, and extremely knowledgeable. Reputation matters and it's clear it's well earned here. Matt took good care of me.

I'm very happy with this place. They took me right away today to patch a tire. Called over the phone to make sure they could take me, and had my car towed there. They took care of it right away, very impressed with the quick service for a busy person like myself. Will definitely be back again for future services, and will highly recommend this place to others! Thanks so much.

What a nightmare ,I got 4 new tires and my truck left there on a flatbed.one of tire installers must of hit line with something right at passenger rear tire.I paid got keys went outside I had no brakes and my hood was left open why were they in my hood for tire install?mind you i just drove there in snow storm with no problem with brakes then tire installer comes from back and says yeah you got no brakes nice of you to tell me as I was ready to drive off.this place and manager is a joke stay far away from this circus.

Went to Roland's for squeaky and spongy brakes in April 2023 and had both rear breaks and rotors done and a rear caliper replaced. Left the shop with still squeaky brakes but thought that was due to the brakes being new. Brakes never stopped squeaking but I lived with it. Fast forward to September and as I was leaving my car I noticed a strong brake smell coming from the rear drivers side. Upon looking I could feel the heat coming from the brake and rotor and upon putting water on the rotor it was sizzling from being so hot. I Contacted Roland's and notified the staff that possibly my rear drivers side brake caliper was stuck and the brakes still squeak at which point they scheduled an appointment for my car to be inspected. The next day I brought the car in. Upon inspection they stated they noticed nothing wrong with the brakes, calipers, rotors or no squeaking even after the mechanic drove over 2 miles. I then drove the car home and not even out of the parking lot I could hear the squeaking. The following day I went to work and on the highway I smelled the strong brake smell I smelled before. When I made it to work I observed the SAME rear drivers side brake and rotor being extremely hot and sizzled from water being poured on it again (I even made a video demonstrating this). I then contacted Roland's and they said come bring it in again and they'll check it out. LOL Yeah like that's going to happen again. I took my car to another mechanic and within an hour they nailed the issue..A clogged brake line. Roland's may know how to sell tires but for brakes and service I would reconsider.

I've been doing business with Roland's Tire for years. When I had a flat tire Thursday night and broke one of the wheel studs, I brought it first thing on Friday morning to Roland's Tire in Somerset. They were not only able to fix the tire and wheel stud but they even put the spare tire back up. If you're looking for quality work at a good rate, then I would suggest seeing Roland's Tire.

Called this morning and asked what the price would be to mount and balance 4 new tires, the person on the phone told me $350. I chuckled to myself and said are you kidding me, he said no and that's the price. I went to Monroe a mile up the street and they did it for $105. I don't know if that's the penalty price for not buying the tires there, but Monroe was more than happy to do it!I have been to Roland's many times and this is just not right!!

They get an extra star because they were friendly over the phone. Told me 65 bucks (260 total) per tire to mount. Trying to make a few extra bucks on a clueless person I guess. Called around to other places and was told prices between 20-40 bucks. Just weird because I went to these guys before to have an inside patch done on a tire, (mount, patch, balance) and was charged 45 for the one tire patch. (Which is definitely a reasonable price) Weird.

I had an excellent experience working with Matt at Roland's Tire Service this past weekend. He was helpful, kind, straightforward, and took care of what my family needed quickly and at the estimated price. I do not live in the area, but if I did, I DEFINITELY would return for tire rotation and/or to buy new tires. I'm a bit perplexed by the bad reviews because I had such a remarkably pleasant experience here!

Came in without an appointment for a bent rim and was out in an hour! Rim was bent back and they even made sure I had a new tire from the damage to the previous one I didn t know about. The people we spoke to we re very nice and understanding. Highly recommend!

I needed four new tires for my car - over 57,000 miles on the original tires. I spoke to Matt Gomes who took care of it right away. He scheduled the work quickly and at a convenient location for me, he quoted a very reasonable price for great tires and the workmanship and customer service were high quality. I would recommend Roland's in Somerset and Fairhaven to anyone.

Friday I fixed my wife s flat 1.5. Hrs from home in Boston as I live in Swansea. I support local business! I drove it to Roland s and said I never want to worry again about my wife s safety so replace tire sensors and tires and do whatever it takes. I picked up the car with no sensors replaced as I requested and now I needed to fix a flat tire on the day I picked the car up and after service and they said the sensors are okay transmission of a signal. All the air is coming out of the valve stem and now after a $1000 it is my problem again. I have a tire machine in my garage and I m a back yard mechanic and this is what I get?. I feel screwed and will see Matt Gomez on Monday after this. I wanted safety for my wife s car and not a sales pitch or sales blah blah and discounts.

Absolutely horrible service who only care about the money. Referred my mother here as I have had great service prior. However she went in for 1 tire that we purchased online as her other tires are new. The guy would only service her vehicle if she bought all 4 tires there. Never again will we be going to Rolland s Tire nor will I refer anyone ever again.

The previous reviews about this place being honest couldnt be more false. How are you going to charge a diagnostic fee for looking at brakes when you don't even have your prices posted anywhere. SHADY business practices like that are what you expect from a dealership, not a mom n pop shop. Monro have never done that to me and they will continue to get my business because this place is grimey

These guys were flat out with the phone ringing off the hook during my entire visit. Despite that, they were beyond friendly and helpful. They didn't make me feel rushed or like a nuisance when I asked questions. They took the time to explain everything to me. My work was done well, at a great price, and in a timely manner (considering how busy they were I swear they work miracles). Their positive attitudes made it a great experience

Went in for an estimate for my truck. 90 minutes I left with great tires. They were friendly, knowledgeable and speedy. The price was great as well!! Folks support local business like Rolands Tire.

I brought tires I bought online and was charged $100 each tire. I felt like I got ripped off and then called other local shops that would do this service and was quoted $30 to $50 per tire. Beware of these people.

I am not one to post reviews on places but this time I felt like I have to. I was quoted a price on the phone bring the four tires there to have new ones when I pick them up the doubles the price on me. And the guy that quoted me is not at the store to speak to. I work for a small business and know some times people make mistakes but the way they operate this location is a joke. Needles to say they got my money today but I will never recommend or do business with this place ever again and I just hope that someone else reads this and if you do decide to go with them make sure you get a written quote or invoice.

Been a loyal customer for over 20 years but can't get free tire repair...used to charge $15 ...now it's $40...seems like a kick in the teeth to me.....time to go elsewhere for tires I guess

Brought my truck in for an alignment. Turns out it wasn't really necessary. I know this because they told me and adjusted the price accordingly. They could have just charged me full price and I would be none the wiser. It is refreshing to find an honest and local business for your auto needs.
