Recently I had my tire light on and went into Frank's to have the tire filled. He took care of it but asked me if I wanted a permanent answer to the problem (as it had happened also a couple weeks ago and not corrected by another garage at that time), I said yes! So Frank checked the tire and found a nail, took care of the situation and I was back on the road safely. I really appreciated the thorough service at Frank'. A job well done! I will definitely continue service calls at his garage.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Be careful, check the price before scheduling an appointment, plain old alignment as an example can cost you as if you re servicing a Ferrari.

Called on the day after Labor Day with a flat tire that needed to be fixed. He said they were busy but to bring it in. Had to wait a day but they checked it out and made sure there wasn t a leak. Very accommodating!

Another flat tire issue that Lower Cape took care of . Unfortunately the nail was in the sidewall and could not be repaired. Frank was pleasant to deal with, Definitely will use them again.Service: TiresService: Tires

Frank Sr and Joanne were warm and gracious.It was 3:00 PM on Friday, in late September.It's time for the weekend and that didn't matter. We were greeted with smiles and a warm attitude. I went to neighboring auto service to get my car situations checked and the diagnostic cost was over 1000 dollars . We were referred to Lower Cape Auto Repair by a friend because we are now permanent residents of Cape Cod.We had an oil change and asked that they check and make sure everything else was OK. They discovered the serpentine belt was frayed and needed replacing. We prefer using a small family owned business which gives you better service on your auto. The lady at the desk and the workers in the garage were nice to deal with. Making an appointment was easy. We were very pleased with their service and will be using them in the future. We highly recommend this garage to anyone who wants good service.Service: Oil change

I got a oil change for $151 After discussing why the cost was so high compared to the other $80-90 oil changes I have had done at other mechanics, they explained the high cost was due to my Volkswagen being a European car. I have had many oil changes and have never had this experience. Myself or my family will not be returning to Lower cape auto repair in the future.Service: Oil change

While on vacation had problems starting my 2003 Mountaineer. Called Frank s shop and they agreed to review the issue as soon as I could bring it in. They were able to obtain the needed starter, fit it in to their schedule, and fix it the same day! Fantastic service and highly recommend Frank s Auto Service.

These guys are great! I m from Pennsylvania and needed to have my tire looked at ASAP before I headed back home for a 6 hour drive. Everywhere else there was a very long wait. Drove by this place. Called and a very nice woman answered and said come on over! Pulled in. Within 5 minutes they had taken my car into the shop. And within 10 minutes I was checking out! Turns out I had a screw in my front right tire that kept deflating on my trip. Thank you guys so much for your professional and quick service!!!

Nothing terrible to see here, but certainly nothing great. Brought my vehicle for an inspection sticker. Everything was fine except they needed to replace windshield wipers, which they did, but other than that the car was good to go. Turns out the registration expired so they told me to come back in 4 hours after I went home and registered it online. The Owner made some comment about government workers being lazy or something, can't remember in what context. I went home and re-registered the vehicle, and I saw the email that the registration and payment went through. I figured that's what I needed and headed back over during lunch about 2 hours later with the paperwork. There were other people now waiting and the Owner barked at me that he said come back in 4 hours. I guess I misunderstood, I thought the email was the confirmation I needed, and I didn't need to wait 4 hours. I went back the next day after work, the sign said they stopped doing registration stickers at 4:30, and I said I was here for a sticker. The woman behind the counter said they were done for the day, they stop at 4. I asked what time it was and the Owner said "4:15". No "sorry", no, "the sign is wrong", no, "you need to be here by 4", and remember, they had inspected the car and changed the windshield wipers the day before. They just needed to look at my registration and slap a sticker on it. Just nothing, no explanation. And I left. All I can say is with their personalities and customer service skills, these guys would fit right in at the Registry of Motor Vehicles. In other words, the government the Owner was complaining about.

There are many places to get an oil change for one's personal car. I used to use Jiffy Lube. Had a poor experience there. So I chose to try Frank's Lower Cape Auto Repair. And I'm glad that I did. They are very efficient. Very friendly. Very professional. Very aware of the customer's time. Give Frank's a chance. You will not be disappointed.Service: Oil change

My check engine light came on Sun afternoon- the day before I was supposed to go home to CT..I googled local auto repair and decided to go to Frank's in Orleans. They opened at 7am and I got there at 7:15..very kind and helpful. Amazing experience. They were able to resolve the issue in a matter of minutes. I felt confident driving 3.5hrs home.

I've been going here for car problems since it was Frank's Citgo. Best mechanic you can take your car into on the Cape. My family has been dropping their car off here for problems big or small for decades. Probably the only car mechanic I trust, can't go wrong here.

We drove into Franks while visiting the Cape on vacation. We had noise when steering, and were nervous about the ride home. They were busy, but still took a moment to listen to the car to be sure it would be safe to drive. Our mechanic quickly listened and added steering fluid. Noise solved it under 10 mins! Took the Tribeca in for inspection. Frank (not Frank) told me that the "Check Engine" light was on. I replied that it hadn't been on when I came in. Then it hit both of us. The same thing happened last year because of a touchy plug for the reader. So, ultimately, no problem, but for Frank (the other one) to remember the same problem from a year ago shows the attention to detail and continuing service they give.

Great place to have work done. They didn t move forward with my inspection and charge me money because they saw I would fail. Saved me some money and very honest and upfront. Alignment is great.

Brake lights came on and indicated I should get my brakes checked out really soon. Was in within 2 days and repair was done by the end of the 3rd day. As always price quoted was almost exactly what the final bill was.
