Excellent service! Always friendly, always helpful! My car was making a horrible clanging rattling noise and they got it in, repaired and out in one day! Would always go there! And I'd suggest anyone else as well if you're in the area!

There is usually a long lead time for scheduled service, because they are that good! And if it's urgent, they do their best to squeeze it in. But most important to us is their persistence in finding what is wrong and their honesty about what to do about it. Always the most cost effective choice that gets the job done right. What more can you ask for, in a mechanic!

I always take my vehicles to Al's for oil changes. Mike and his crew are friendly and always have a smile. While some other places may be cheaper, they always treat me really well and are pleasant to deal with, I really like that usually I can get right in without an appointment, but if they are booked up, Joe will tell me about how long of a wait I have ahead of me so I can run errands or decide to come back a different day and not just sit there and wait. I also like that Joe checks all my fluids and lets me know if he sees a problem so I'm not surprised down the road with an unexpected repair. I was surprised to see a bad review because they are always polite & nice to me and everyone else I know who goes there. I'll be a repeat customer as long as I'm driving!

I try to do business with small, independent people, so I gave Al's a try. There are other people there who were very nice, but the man who changes the oil is not a user friendly guy. He was annoyed when I asked to see what filter he used, and he made a customer move her car for no reason before he would even talk to her. The change was no bargain at $29.00, and worst of all, there was no thank you at any time. I won't be taking my car there again.

Cheap and quick reliable oil changes. The Mechanics are top notch. They have maintained my wife's 2015 F350, her 1998 F350 diesel, and my 1988 Corvette convertible. In fact they brought the Corvette back from the dead. If you can drive it, and it has a combustion engine, they CAN fix it. However, they may not have the time or desire to, you just have to ask or beg and plead nicely. Nobody on the planet can do better work.

Mike is the owner (Al is deceased so dont ask for him). They have repaired fuel lines on a 2000 Buick Lesabre for me, have done brakes on my 2000 Avalon and have worked on my daughter's car. The prices are fair the work is top notch and done fast. The guys are humorous and old school. The place has cool old hotrod stuff and model cars etc. Id give it 5 stars but for cigarette smoke, but hey, its a funky old mechanic shop, so 4.9.

The saying goes'' they seen you coming" your female. Not here! Mike is a great guy....even picked me up twice when my pos car couldn't get a sticker ! Joe who does oil changes etc..'just likes to help you understand. There booked for a reason, but mike will try to fit you in! reasonable prices. very honest and friendly. i went back today because my car is leaking fuel and i didn't want to be blown up,lol !!! Mike is like "oh yeah i know what it is "...my pontiac is there now.. mike says he got this".i trust him! ladies you will feel comfortable here! Honest mechanics are hard to find!
