if i could give this place a negative i would. talk a big game but are a big scam i wouldn t let these place work on my truck for free after the work i have seen come out of here. ratings are 5 star because owner begs customers for a good review. these are pictures of my flywheel after paying for a clutch job and wheel to be turned. not even matching hardware was used to put transmisi�n back on. pilot bearing wasn t siting correct. i decided to removed my transmisi�n after a friend had a problem with a clutch not properly installed at this place

Came to the shop with a misaligned door and broken door latch. Ish and his crew got me taken care of in less than a hour. Also, air was constantly purging like every 10 sec from air dryer. Ish quickly found the problem in less than a minute. It was an air leak from the governor air line which was only noticeable if the truck was running. I would recommend him if you re in the area . He is vastly experienced and knowledgeable and reasonable priced

After literally 20 phone calls seeking someone to repair a gasoline leak under my 30-year-old (but new-to-me) RV, Ish at Advanced Diesel Repair saved the day. There was absolutely no hesitation when I asked if he could take a look at it. Not only that, but he was able to get it in and finished within the week at a very reasonable price too. When I told him about my difficulty finding someone, he said "well, we're not afraid of work here," which I love. Such a great work ethic, kind and willing to take care of you! Don't hesitate to bring your rig/RV/truck here - you won't regret it!!

We had an unexpected breakdown on our semi. Called them and they got the part info and came out first thing the next morning. Got the repair done in a timely fashion. Very friendly,professional and knew how to get the job complete. Very satisfied

Ish is one of the best!!! He knows his stuff. He did my air bags, found air leaks, adjusted my injectors! I ve been going to my regular mechanic and they never told me the stuff Ish found, by far one of the best. I live in Alabama and I m willing to travel all the way to Newburyport, MA just for him to service my truck!

I was referred to this shop by a Cummins Tech. As a owner operator for the last 4 years I have been to a lot of shops & had horrible service. Advanced Diesel Repair is a 5star operation. My Cummins isx15 in my 2013 Peterbilt had low fuel pressure. Countless mechanics tried to find the problem throwing parts burning money. The Advanced Diesel team took me in no appointment diagnosed the issue. Put genuine parts back on. Communication through the process keeping me updated. Truck has never run better. Had some def issue on my truck while I was making my delivery was able to get my truck back on the road and replaced a wheel seal. Good people , I recommended.

I originally came in for a regular PM. However Ish was very thorough and found some issues that needed immediate attention. Ish and his employee gave my truck the extra attention it needed, I had a lot of rust on one of my wheels. I literally watched him spend 1+ hours just to take it off and change a wheel bearing seal. I brought my RV him to look at a transmission issue and check engine light. He took time to look at both problems, while still busy with other customers. Very good service, and friendly owner. Because of his help I was able to get home safely.

Ishmael is a real professional and and knows these trucks better than any other mechanic I've been too. He is the only person I trust to give me an true and accurate diagnostic run down on my truck. Was there right at opening, the mechanic started right away, and fixed my exhaust better, then it was from factory. I was in and out in no time. Ishmael did a great job. I brought my truck to him. I had to leave for a trip to Florida the next day. He worked overtime stayed late and finished an incredible amount of work. I didn't believe it when he called me and told me I was all set. I was able to leave on time for my trip. He was able to diagnose and repair all my problems on more than one occasion. Always in a timely fashion. My bill is always less than I expect. It's a good feeling to know that I found an excellent mechanic that I can trust. Ish saved my day. Had some damaged trailer rims that needed repair urgently due to an important delivery. He assisted me even though I had no appointment for which I'mgrateful for. He also pointed out another issue my truck had that has to be taken care of. My new go-to professional diesel mechanic. The name says it all: "Advanced". Super satisfied.

The company I work for was doing a job in Newburyport today around the corner from this shop, I discovered that somewhere between our shop and the job my right front hub cover had broken. I called them and spoke to Ish and he said he had one on the shelf and to limp the truck over and he would replace it for me. I was in an out in 15 minutes and back on the road. Ish had one his mechanics stop his lunch break to get me back on the road! Ish was fair and professional and I will definitely be using his services again!Service: Steering & suspension repair

This place is the absolute best for anything diesel on the North Shore, by far. I have had the owner here working on my trucks long before he had his own shop and let me tell you...no diesel mechanic has ever been more thorough, efficient, and trustworthy than he.
