This is by far the best auto mechanic around - Will is super generous, knowledgeable, and trustworthy; I came in with a problem that two other shops said would take two days and a couple hundred dollars to fix, and he made custom part in 20 minutes that fixed the problem and had me on the road that day. I can t recommend Wexford Street Automotive enough!

Will saved out butts when our E450 shuttle bus ran dry of diesel and broke down on the exit ramp outside of Newton. He not only found us a tow company that would tow our extra large vehicle but then had to take half the engine apart to get it to work again. He was really busy but still made time to help us. We were stuck and so grateful for his help. Will struck me as the kind of mechanic you really want to have a relationship with- kind, knowledgeable and not looking to gouge anyone.

Can't say enough great things about this business. What a find. Let's start with this- the owner, Will, actually answers the phone when you call him. Every time... and he calls you back to keep you updated on his progress. Next - He makes an appointment to do the work and then he keeps it, exactly as he promises. Next - They know what they are doing... so truly refreshing to find a true mechanic who knows autos, but also knows where to get the info when he has to go find it. On top of it all, Will is just a nice, stand up guy. I can remember the last time I felt like I was dealing with such a competent and honest professional... who works at a fair rate... in any capacity. I will never take my high-milage Subaru (that he gave me an appt for less than 24hrs after I called, troubleshot and repaired the transmission as well as did a full service on) or, for that matter, either if my other vehicles to any other shop ever again. If I could, i give this place 6 stars.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Wexford Auto is the most reliable and efficient auto repair shop I've ever worked with! Will is honest and truly treats the issue you come in such a timely manner. He does great work, keeps you updated, and informs you simply on car things that are way beyond my understanding. I highly recommend Wexford automotive. Will is the best mechanic I have ever met.He continually diagnosis and repairs my truck expertly for a great price and does the work quickly. The one time I went closer to home I had my transmission worked on and after returning to them to have it fixed again, it was still not working correctly. I finally took my truck to Will and he not only fixed it correctly, but was half the cost!Will is honest and a very friendly guy. I cannot say enough good things about him.Jim S.

I'm not local to the area and needed to find a shop that I could bring the car to while I was at work. Will was recommended to me by someone at work and I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. First off, he listened to what I had to say, and took everything into consideration. Secondly, he did a great job of explaining everything he proposed to do to fix the issues. Lastly, I felt confident that his pricing was fair and equitable. A good mechanic is easy to find, a GREAT mechanic is like finding a needle in a haystack. Will is a very honest mechanic. He is trustworthy, and that is the biggest complaint I hear when folks go to an auto body shop.He has fair prices, will work hard to fix your vehicle and can crack a joke.Bring your vehicle to Wexford St. and you will leave happy.

Will has all the qualities you want in a mechanic-- talented, honest, consultative and a straight communicator. These have been rare to find in the area.He called me every step of the way to let me know what he was able to diagnose, quoted me an accurate price, and completed the task in a timely manner.I was hesitant to take my car anywhere in the area, having had a few bad experiences with other mechanics not being able to locate the root of the problem. If you've had similar experiences, I would suggest trying Wexford Street Automotive.

Will has been the mechanic for myself and my husband for many years. In fact, he is scheudled to work on my husband's truck on Monday. He is personable, easily accessible at his new location in Needham and an expert mechanic. Go to Will for all your needs, from oil change to tires to engine needs. You will be glad you did.

Wexford Auto is honest and reliable shop. My 2013 GMC Yukon XL needed work on done on the engine. Received a quote from the dealership that lead me to Wexford. Not only was the price fair, but the car is going to run another 150k miles. I took my Hyundai Sonata 2012 hybrid to Wexford to flush and refill the transmission fluid. Service was excellent. I had read mixed reviews as to whether hybrids needed their transmission fluid serviced. Will took the time to explain to me why he recommended doing it and how it would be done. I would highly recommend Wexford for automotive service!

Cannot say enough good things about this mechanic. Knowledgeable mechanic who has helped me in a pinch more than once, at a very fair price nonetheless. Only person I trust to work on my extremely specialized diesel vehicle. Seriously could not recommend him enough!!!

Will is a great guy and will not simply throw parts at your car to fix it. He takes the time to make sure that it's the right part for the problem. Also having a secure lot for over night repairs is comforting.

My car broke down on the way to work and I had to drive to the nearest place. Found this one bc of the positive reviews and it lived up to the hype! I got lucky to have found this place.
