I've been going here for years for my three cars' oil changes and tires. The prices are great! The service is poor. I usually have to call several times before someone answers the phone in order to schedule an appointment. While at the store, the wait times are usually pretty long but I don't mind because I always plan on shopping while I wait.

I scheduled an appointment for 3:15pm with Lunenburg Walmart Automotive to have four new tires mounted. I arrived at 2:45pm and stood in line until 3:20pm just to check in. My car was finally taken into the bay at 5:15pm. They were taking all of the walk-ins before their scheduled appointments. Five minutes later I noticed my tires being tossed into my trunk. I was told by the mechanic that he couldn't remove a rear lug nut. He said, "I don't know what to tell you." After over three hours, I left with nothing being done. Heated would be an understatement.No one ever answers the phone, and much of the staff sit in the small, locked side office while the area fills with customers. If there are six mechanics on, you're lucky to see two in the bay. They all act as if they hate their jobs, or the store, or the customers, perhaps all of the above.In a sense I dodged a bullet. If their attitudes reflects their work, I probably wouldn't have made it home with four intact tires. Steer clear of this place.

Price was ok. Great to have aams day availability to schedule an oil change. Cost only $70 for full synthetic and one walmart tire replacement! best or most decent prices i know

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered 4 new tires on Jan 5 and scheduled an appointment to have them installed on Jan 13. Showed up for my appt and waited an hour before they told me my tires hadn t been delivered. Instead of checking ahead of time and letting me know before I showed up to my appt and waited, they told me to call back today to check if they had been delivered. Called the store at least 10 times and had someone from the auto care center pick up and hang up twice on me. Ended up calling Walmart s corporate number, told them about the entire issue and had them look into the order so I could just know if they had been delivered. Ended up getting the order refunded and bringing my car elsewhere. Spend the extra money and get the service you deserve, I would ve had new tires if I would ve stuck with Town Fair Tire. Beware of this store!

Great staff, fairly priced, quick work, good products. Look out for or avoid Facebook and small shop scammers (selling used tires) and just go here for new tires at a similar cost.

Went in to have new tires put on. The guy said they can't do it. Only by appointment. I said there's no one here, all the bays are empty. and those 2 guys are just sitting there doing nothing. Said sorry can't do it. Walmart just lost out on 4 tire purchase. Laziest place

Refused to service my vehicle unless I get four tires instead of two, even though the front two are less than one year old. When I said I didn t have money for 4 new tires at the moment they refused to help me initiate the return process for tires. I had to call customer service to get a refund.

I got tires rotation for my car at this location. It only costed $10, but I had to pay $344 to repair "locked" engine hood at other shop because it would not open after my car visiting here. So, supposely, it is uncessary to open the engine hood to do the tire rotation, not sure what they have done on my car.

Update: don't count on getting a 'free tire rotation'I got there today at 2pm on a Friday and it was a 3 hour wait. I went home and did the rotation myself in 1 hour. You cannot make appointments for rotations.I found a good deal on tires, $45 each. I ordered them online, and went to have them installed. From start to finish it was about 1.5 hours, and I was a walk in because I was told appointments have to be scheduled at least 24 hours prior. Mounting and balancing and disposal of 4 old tires was about $55, so overall I'm happy even though it took a long time to finish the job.

I am the last person that will complain about anything but my experience today was atrocious. I came in 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment and requested a balance and to have my tires looked at to see if I needed to replace any. The lady at the front counter was pleasant and came back a couple minutes after taking my cars and said it looked like I d need the two front tires replaced, which was great because I thought I d need all four. She also said it would be about an hour and a half, which I thought was long but once again I don t complain AND I know nothing about cars. So about 9:20 I asked how much longer and the woman tells me my car is next it hadn t even started getting worked on and I had a SCHEDULED appointment at 8!!! So once again, even though I have others things to do today I don t complain and ask how long and she says maybe about 45 minutes. A couple of minutes later I see my car pull in and a little bit later a mechanic comes in to talk to her and I overhear him saying that they couldn t find my tires... I am now on the verge on flipping out (mind you I m also a tired, cranky pregnant lady). They ended up finding my tires and finally started working in my car at about 9:50 only for the mechanic to come in to talk to me once he removed the tires and ask why I was replacing the front tires. He was very nice and let me know they was very little wear and sidewall damage on one of the back tires. WHAT THE HECK!!! He told me he didn t want me to buy tires I didn t need and he apologized for the wait and was completely unaware that I had an appointment... so clearly the woman up front wasted over two hours of my time (as I m still waiting to have my tires put back on) AND doesn t communicate with her coworkers. I have never posted a review in the past about any business but my experience today was so horrendous that it needed to be shared. I hope no one else has to go through this and I more than appreciate the honesty and apology from the mechanic. It s really unfortunate that one bad apple ruined it for the bunch in this case. END RANT!

Worst experience ever. I waited 1 hour before I just walked out of there. Not only did they over charge the two women before me but I didn't have much time. So I asked manager if he could just change my tire, and I would put it on the car myself. Well, and up waiting another half an hour. There was about 6 or 7 employees just standing around. Poorest work ethic I've ever seen. Manager was no help either.....!The only reason they have one star is because one have to put something in order leave a review....!

They make you schedule an appointment to have tires installed. What is the point of an appointment if when you arrive you still have to wait the same as if you went anywhere else with no appointment. They didn't get my car into the bay until over an hour after my appointment time and then took another hour just to put tires on. I've put tires on before without the luxury of all the tools they have and it shouldn't take that long.

I am very dissapointed with my service here. I had to make an appointment to get my tires changed as they were too busy the day before. When I arrived for my scheduled time at 9am they told me it would be an hour to an hour and a half MAYBE. I am still here waiting and it is now 12. That is 3 hours waiting! On top of the atrocious wait I was told the tires I wanted to purchase were only priced at $42.00 online so I had to go with the more exspensive version, which were not all season (which is NOT what I wanted) that cost $62.00 each! When I pulled up the tires on their website I politely stated that nowhere does it say the price was for online purchase only, and that they are listed as available in the store. The woman insisted that the tires were not for sale at $42.00 in store and I had to get a manager involved to confirm that I actually was right and the tires I had decided on were in fact able to be purchased in store! To also add just another inconvienence and mistake to the list I requested upon coming in to keep my best tire from the change because it was newer and I wanted to use it as a spare, they forgot to give it to me and I had to go back to request the tire, spent 15 minutes finding my tires and finding the right one, and then I spent another 20 waiting in line to pay for the disposal of the other tires because the failed to charge me for it in the first place! I was given very rude and dissmissive service from the woman running the front desk as well. Very unhappy with my service today!

had a good experience there. ordered (2) rear tires online for my 2009 Dodge Charger R/T. they came in earlier than anticipated. i went with a wider than OEM tire because I have the RWD model. They refused to put the tires on my car because it is against their policy to put on different tires than OEM or any other setup. the staff i talked to were friendly and helped carry out my tires to my car. The only reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because Walmart deserves less for their stupid policy. The guys deserve 5.

Im more upset with this so called "Review". Im not believing that only 1 review has ever been posted, and it just so happens to be a great, 5 star experience.Anyway, my experience was very different. Ive been to the Walmart Auto Center (or whatever its called) twice. The 1st time we had an appointment and we showed up a lil early. There was no one working the desk , there was no way to check in anyway after we waited an hour i found sumone and they said there wasnt an mechanic and we should rescheduled

I put my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and a headlight bulb replacement. I left it overnight, I wasn't in a hurry. They only did an oil change. Never told me that my tires could not be rotated because of the wear and never touched the headlight. Lousy service and no communication.

Went to purchase a car battery and have it installed.Every single staff member I encountered were pleasant and helpful.As always when dealing with Walmart, the parts of the process that are \"automated" are horrible.

I go in for my oil change and I've never had an issue. The process is easy and the staff isn't pushy towards getting me to do more work on my car than what I came in for. That's the main reason I go.

This store has a negative vibe. Staff are unpleasant and unwelcoming. Store looks clean but feels dirty. In a plaza with many other stores. Central location at the boarder of fitchburg, Lunenburg and leominster.

I have tried calling the auto center 3 times in the past week and noone ever picks up the phone. Thats a good way to loose a customer, luckily I have patience and they are not too far from home so I will try a 4th time.

Horrible service ... Unfriendly ...place closed 5 hours early cause a mechanic didnt show ... The whole crew needs to be replaced ...michael the manager needs to go ... Walmart service apparently doest extend to their auto care center - NEEDS REAL EMPLOYEES IN AUTO "CARE" - OR DONT CARE DEPARTMENT
