I told them my car was overheating and losing fluid potentially the oil they found the oil and transmission fluid was mixing. told me it could be anything most likely a cracked head gasket and I need a new car mind you they didn't even put it on the lift to look under it. I took it to a mechanic that did put it on a lift and looked under it they found that the heater and radiator hoses came loose. Just by looking under it in 2 minutes.

Best prices in Lowell! If you're having car trouble and if you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic go to S& S auto repair. The owner Sergio has been my mechanic for a long time and he is just a good person who will NOT rip you off like some of the other big corporate places! The lobby is clean and quiet and just one minute from downtown Lowell, if you decide to grab a drink or snack while your car gets serviced!

I've been going to them for at least 10 years. S&S is the only one I trust with my cars for repair and maintenance. It is family owned. Sergio and his mechanics are attentive to details, hardworking, and they care about their customers.

Its so hard to find a good mechanic nowadays so I thought long and hard about where to take my car for repairs and I am so glad I went with. S &S. Very friendly service price was fair andI loved how Sergio took the time to show & explain the work that was done. Definitely recommend S & S Auto Repair.

This is amazing Auto Shop. I ve been using this auto shop a little bit before the pandemic hit and they have been able to help maintain both my wife s and my car in the best shape. The prices are always reasonable and they do exactly what they say they will. This auto will fix your car without leaving you feeling like you were taking advantage of, which is something I can t say for other auto shops in Lowell. Very Happy with Sergio and S&S so far. He diagnosed two check engine issues and then provided me with original equipment and secondary market equipment price options.Had my radiator fixed for $130 less than franchised based Meinike. Will have him work on two more issues next month.5-6 Service bays, clean, and lots of old timers in the waiting area.Thanks Sergio,Mark

Not a customer of theirs but i can not keep my mouth shut on this one...i am a 17 year mechanic and i work at a local used car dealer. EVERY SINGLE ONE of our cars i personaly run a safety diagnosis and inspection. Just recently had a customer bring a car back needing certain parts that i know for a fact were brand new (i installed them and have record of this). The parts mentioned in their "diagnosis" are worth pennies compared to the quote. Wish i could say better, but do not trust.

I wont even give this place a star, one of the tire rods went in an accident and they told me it was the axle, charged me $1000. On another occasion they charged me $700 to replace the spark plugs, wires, and distributor; only for my cylinders to misfire and tell me a wire was getting wet and they fixed it but they didn't, they just cleared the code. Straight scum bags.

I have a 2000 Mazda Miata MX5, and I needed the serpentine belts replaced (yes, there are 2 in my car) so I brought it here. He put the belts on, but apparently doesn't know they need to be manually tensioned, so the *very next day* one of my *brand new* belts snapped.Dude clearly doesn't know older cars, relies too much on the auto tensioners in newer vehicles.
