Just had Bolts replace the rear springs on my 2015 X3. They were able to take me on short notice (2 days after New Years) and got the job done in a day. The price was very reasonable (half of other estimates). I've owned BMWs for over 30 years and I usually do most of the work myself (see Bimmerfest). And I hate it when a garage thinks you're an idiot and tries to upsell you service (You need to replace your shocks with the springs...). There was no attempt by Bolt's to add service. He did exactly what I asked and came back with a short list of things that he recommended I should do in the future. This list was consistent with what I had planned to do. And he found I was missing my brake fluid cap which must have come off after I did my last brake job (my bad!). Anyway, it was a pleasure to talk with someone who was knowledgeable about BMWs who wasn't trying to sell you something. They do great work at a reasonable price. I will definitely take my car back to Bolt's for future service.

I cannot recommend Dave and the team at Bolt's Garage enough. I started bringing my 2013 mini roadster here last year and I continue to be beyond impressed with the level of care and passion that Dave clearly has when it comes to maintaining these vehicles. I'm so happy to have found a place that I trust to help me maintain my baby for all the years we have ahead!

Since I found Bolt's Garage, I continue to be beyond impressed with the professionalism and empathy from Dave, the owner. Dave always spells out what the upcoming repairs will be, the timeline and the cost so that you have no surprises when you pick up your car. He does a great job with whatever needs to be done. The prices are very reasonable. I always feel like I can call Dave with small or big questions about my Mini. I strongly recommend this garage and Dave!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Brakes, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I can't quite express how much gratitude I feel for the owners and mechanics at bolts. They sort of saved my life. Insofar as right now my husband and I are living out of our car, and they saved our car. We had been towed to a dealership after experiencing transmission issues, and been informed that we needed to buy a new car because the repairs they estimated would cost over $6,000. Thank goodness a good friend recommended we get a second opinion and we had it towed to bolts. $600 later the car is driving perfectly and we are able to continue living out of it. It's not ideal, but it's better than being out $6,000! Not to mention the owners here are so incredibly nice and kind and went out of their way to squeeze us in during their busy schedule. We feel like we have found a wonderful, trustworthy, professional, family oriented business and wish we could always bring our car here in the future. Highly recommend!

If you drive a Mini or BMW this is your place. Actually even if you don't drive a Mini, this is your place! Dave is great! Thorough, professional and friendly. He ran up a full diagnostic on my Mini Cooper and laid out a servicing plan for the coming year (ie this is what we should do now, this other stuff is fine, but let's watch it...) as well as giving me an overall assessment of the state of my then new-to-me car. Fair prices and great advice. It is obvious they love what they do at Bolts. Go there.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Oil change

I consider myself very handy with a wrench and do things like engine rebuilds at home. But sometimes I don t have time to work on my daily driver, and then I take it to Bolts. They are as honest and competent a BMW shop as I ve ever known. I m not saying the are perfect, just that in 40 years of owning BMW s Bolts is right up at the top in terms of value and quality work.I recommend them without reservation.

If you're looking the perfect place to bring your car for repairs, look no further. David (the owner) is professional, honest, and knows it all when it comes to vehicles. As a woman it is very hard to find a mechanic you can trust. David is that guy. Since I moved 7 years ago, I now travel over 100 miles to have him fix anything that is wrong with my car. Thanks David!!!Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I hate bringing my cars into the shop. Absolutely hate it. Despite knowing how to do the job, I just don't have the space to tackle some things myself. When the clutch in my '07 BMW 530 grenaded on me, I called around for estimates. The dealership, of course, quoted way too high. Another shop in the area sounded unsure of themselves on the phone (at first told me my car doesn't come with a manual transmission?).I sent an email off to Bolt's detailing my situation and shortly after, I was called with a quote and my car was on the flat-bed to the garage.Unfortunately, this happened at a time when the shop was swamped so the car wouldn't be ready for a few days. No biggie! I was updated along the way, and got a call back with some recommended services (transfer case fluid flush, gear oil, etc.)When I got the car back, David took his time to show me the broken parts and walk me through what else he recommended on the car. The original quote was exactly what I was charged, which was very reasonable based on research I did. Thanks so much for a great job. I'll definitely be back for any issues that might come up!

I brought my Mini to a local mechanic, and they could never figure out what was wrong with it half the time, or screwed up the repair. This time I decided to try a garage that specializes in BMWs/MINIs.My initial concern was the cost, but I feel the prices here are reasonable. The most important thing though, is finding an honest garage that knows what they're doing. I feel like these guys were 100% honest about what needed to be done, and they really know their stuff when it comes to Minis.I'd absolutely recommend Bolts if you own one of these cars. Top notch.Keep up the good work guys.

STAY AWAY from this garage! I had them do a simple oil change for my Mini Cooper. They topped off the coolant The heater stopped working and then the engine started overheating so I brought it to the dealership in NH because the car was still under warranty. Mini told me that whoever had serviced my car used the wrong coolant and did not put the cap back on correctly so the coolant had flown out of the car. Mini re-did the oil change for free to put in Mini parts and had to perform a coolant flush - $145. Mini suggested I present the bill to the garage. I asked Bolts to do the right thing, honestly thinking that they would, but they refused to take responsibility. Completely dishonest. I would never trust them with my vehicle!

Dave and team have kept my e46 in top condition for over 12 years now. They take the time to explain the work to be done as well as options to save where appropriate. They have earned my trust and my business.

I brought my 2009 Mini Cooper S here and they told me I needed to replace my motor for $12,000 while it was there they didn t return my calls, emails, Facebook messages, I took it to Joe s in Worcester for a second opinion and he had it running in no time & he kept me up to date with daily calls to let me know what was going on, let s just say I paid less than $3,000 to have my motor completely gone thru and fixed! Do not recommend Bolts to anyone, they are money hungry thieves who think just because they have to much work that they can charge for stuff you do not need!

The MINI Masters of Massachusetts. 4 MINIs in the family and Bolts is our go to. Huge parts warehouse for a fast turnaround. Ask about their loaners for big jobs.Plan ahead, there's often a two week waiting list.

I have a brand new BMW 896 si with overdrive. It's disguised as a 2003 Ford van E250. He has solved some very funky problems. There is nothing he cannot do to fix things. He's in the right business. Plus, he is thorough and polite and sometimes has a full candy dish. I recommend him whole-heartedly!!

Bolt's is just packed with good people. Whereas almost every other garage will try to up-sell you on things you don't need, Bolt's garage only suggests replacement when it's truly necessary.
