The most racist gas station. Every time i attempt to go there for service i am treated unfairly! The mechanics and clerks have no patience, and they tell you incorrect information to get get more money from you! I will never refer anyone to do business there.

My first time getting my inspection here I was so impressed they were able to get things done on the spot to get my car pass inspection at a reasonable price that I decided to return again. This year I was told my lights were out and it part of inspection. I agree to replace light bulbs, failed inspection due to engine light is on. My engine light was never on before. Within one hour, I went to a mechanic and I was told my wires were unplugged and flipped. My wires seems to be TEMPER and causing my engine light to turn on. Needless to say I returned here a week later to get it reinspect and pass my inspection.My suggestion - before getting any work done, get a second opinion from another mechanic. Might save you $$$ and time in the future.Goodluck!

So grateful for these guys. They were very efficient in getting my car fixed the same day. Professional, friendly and HONEST. I will never be going anywhere else again for anything car related. From inspection sticker, oil change, exhaust, they do it all. Love them! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped in to fill up and were taken aback by the great service we received. The gentleman who pumped our gas was very gracious and very polite. We both used the restrooms and were astounded by how clean and lovely the were. While we're not from the area and may not have an opportunity to utilize their services, I would not hesitate to trust them with the repair of my vehicle given the way they operate their business.

I by chance found John's Gas and Auto Repair while experiencing issues with my car during the middle of my road trip - and I am so glad I did! John was very polite and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone!

Excellent timely service. The owner and his employees are all polite. A good old-fashioned, nice, honest, hard-working shop. I will definitely return again.Each project he has done, I have always been pleased, and if it's something that they cannot do, the owner will be straight with you and recommends someone who may be able to help you.

I refer everyone to John, he s the best, I get my oil changes done here, as well as inspection stickers. If you pay cash to fill your gas tank you will get it cheaper

Johns Gas is a great repair facility. Quality and timely work, even for someone like me who is very impatient. It is great to have a repair shop you can trust and send family too knowing they will always receive great service and honest pricing. They also have gone more than out of their own way for me to service my companies vehicles when we were in a bind.Highly recommend Johns Gas

Very helpful and trustworthy. Took my car in because the brakes were making a noise, but working fine. John explained that the noise was just from the material the brakes happened to be made of, and that it didn't need any work done. Didn't charge me even for keeping it overnight until I could come get it.

I went there yesterday for some work that I needed done on the car. John looked at it right away and quoted a very reasonable price. The parts were installed and the other repair work completed to my satisfaction. I knew exactly what had to be done and what the end result should look and feel like so when they offered to show me what was done and explained the whole thing, I knew they were telling the truth. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to make an exception.

We live a quarter mile from John's Gas so he is our Mechanic. Even if we lived 10 miles away I would use John. He is a complete professional and honest. Very rare. I always get the feeling he is looking out for our best interests and NEVER feel up sold. He's also a very nice guy and easy to do business with. My Wife and I highly recommend John's Gas.

Today my car suddenly broke down, luckily just in time to roll onto their parking lot. There was a man behind me honking as my car was stalling out and the attendant took it upon himself to help me and explain to the man why I couldn't move. They were already slammed with limited space on their lot and their great team jumped into action to help me. They were so calm and kind while I was struggling to keep it together and their generosity and patience with me and my sister meant the world to me during a really stressful time. Thank you so much for proving good people do still exist. I will never forget how you responded in my time of need. I can't thank you enough.

Been coming to John's for years for gas and inspection. The employees are very nice and they are very helpful. Miss seeing John Sr. around as he was always so friendly and talkative to all his customers.

This is local auto repair place I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot over the last decade). Very skilled mechanics, very helpful explanation to help understand what needs work and what doesn't (unlike dealerships and corporate car repair businesses). The cost for labor and parts is low. They see customer service before profit and that's rare in today's world. Highly recommended for all standard auto services.

When you call for service, he is,always available. He is reliable and will be honest with you. Most mechanics are greedy, but greed make you lose more business. John keep up the good work because more customers will come to you and you will always have a business.

If you are a female DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE!!! JOHN the owner is not honest!! Make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing BEFORE he works on your car--he tampers with other things so that you will have to come back!!! NEVER leave your car, if possible--hope you get the point--DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

I've been going to John and his guys for years. I get my gas there, inspection stickers, oil changes, you name it. They always take care of me and are extremely helpful and professional. I highly recommend!!

I brought my car for steering issues. I was told it was 3 hoses that go to the power steering rack and pinion. $600 plus later, the 3 hoses were supposedly replaced. I brought the car back about 2 weeks later and he said everything was dry so there was no leak and the rack. It was making all different kinds of noises from the moment I got the car back the 1st time.

Staff was friendly but I wouldn't recommend this shop. The work was done properly from what I can tell but and this is a huge but they charged me $200 to install a starter. They saw I was somewhat stuck and instead of charging the regular rate they nearly doubled it. I will not be returning there.

Honestly the only people I will ever trust with my car. John and his team are so knowledgeable and helpful. My car is old and continually needs work done and they are the only people I ll take it to.

Had a tire replaced by these crooks. They insisted on having my address for the tire replacement. I gave them address thinking what harm would that do. Hence, two weeks later all my tires and rims were stolen. Found my car carefully placed on plastic crates. DONT GO THERE THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF.

I m new to the area of Quincy i ve been coming here for year for oil changes and brakes and repairs always thought they were cheap and honest and to have brought my new car to him told him my new car that I bought smells like gas Before you inspect the car can you make sure there s not gas leak so if there is a gas leak I can return the car he checks the car and says it s the power fluid holes that is leaking and that s why it smells like gas so I fix that for 500 it passed Inspection when I get the car back from inspection the check engine light is on I asked him how did the car pass inspection with the check engine light on he said 2002 and cars older pass inspection with check engine lights on As I left I had to turn around because the engine was smoking he told me that it was going to smoke into the power fluid burns off and it s going to smell like gas into the power fluid burns off well three days later I smell gas stronger I bring it to him and now he tells me I have a gas leak that I need to replace The gasket right muffler left muffler intermediate pipe and the fuel tank so I went to a mechanic I know an hour away to see price differences and they only charge me for the fuel tank and the intermediate pipe so clearly Joan was taking a vantage of me being a female and because Joan was dishonest about what was leaking and causing the gas smell iam stuck with a car I bought for 2200 and had to put 2500 in work and to mind you I have a 12 month old son in a car that was dangerous to drive and could have caught on fire
