This shop is all scam. They use bait-and-switch to scam their customers: they invoiced us for the higher price GoldenTech product but slid in the lower price/quality PRIDE product when we went to pick up. They charged us MA sales tax and try to profit it themselves (even they know clearly there is no state sales tax on wheelchairs). They repetitively made false promises for refund but never did. (We have to resort to seek help from the credit card company to cancel the transaction). The MA AG should investigate this business and shut it down to prevent them to scam the people who need help the most. Basically they are so low that they took advantage of people s disability.

This place is a scam and the reps are liars.Ive repeatedly called for my $200 deposit which I was told I d receive many times now. The people in the office didn t send a confirmation email of my electric wheelchair rental return which I have photos that it was returned in the same condition I took it.The guy who answers the number on the invoice is absolutely rude. Everyone I ve spoken to has given me the run around. I don t recommend this place at all.Any positive or caring comment I get for this review is a lie and meaningless until they give me back my $200.

Boston Orthopedic & Respiratory Equipment allowed me to buy some medical supplies, and I had a good experience there. My recovery was made easier by the knowledgeable staff, who assisted me in finding the Generation 2 Weil Knee Walker, the best knee walker. They took their time explaining safe usage practices. We are very grateful for their expertise and kind manner.

Two day travel to Boston and day one my husband realized he left a piece of his CPAP equipment at home. Called and they were able to replace and delivered to our hotel. Texted me to let me know when it was delivered. Saved the trip so we could enjoy our son s wedding festivities without any further worry. Thank you Boston Orthopedic Respiratory for excellent customer service!!

A close friend recommended Boston Ortho when I needed a wheelchair urgently due to a recent ankle injury. Their response and quick help were excellent. They delivered the wheelchair in time and made sure I was comfortable using it. During a difficult time, this whole transaction was easy and supportive. Thank you for your excellent job

I ordered some supplies on 8/30/2023 and have sent two follow up emails about status of order, however they have chosen not to reply to either. Based on my experience, I would avoid any business dealings with them. I will check to see if they have billed me for items not delivered, and if they have, report to CC company and take follow action with BBB, etc.

I ve purchased Resmed 10 Cpap in an emergency and they were wonderful and delivered same day to me in suburban Boston. I ve ordered a mask the same way. Yes they are a bit expensive but they will help you quickly and with no red tape. If you need this service you will appreciate it. I like the staff very much. As those know who use a Cpap, if it breaks you sometimes need rush service. I know of no other vendor I m the area that keeps has a stock of Cpaps and accessories to sell immediately. That is a service.

I was impressed. Reading some of the other reviews, I was a little leary of this company. I went with them because they had what I wanted at the best price. That said, they did a great job. The people over the phone were nice and respectful of my difficult situation. The delivery was on time and done by a nice person who did a great job. The product(a special recliner lift chair) was better than expected and very clean. All in all, I would use them again without hesitation. Thank You!

The customer service was amazing. We had arranged for my wheelchair to be ready on a Thursday. Since they didn't have my chair they loaned me one. They estimated that my chair would arrive in a week. The next day (Friday) my chair was delivered fully assembled at my husband's request. Thanks everyone for the great service.To update this my wheelchair had some strange defect. Customer service was great. Tried several times to fix it and then replaced it free of charge. Nice when you get results like that

I needed a special piece of medical equipment which they had in stock, and were thankfully open on Saturday. Every staff person I spoke with had excellent customer service and helped complete the transaction with ease. I drove over 2 hours to pick it up same day, and was able to get it via curbside pickup which I am grateful for. I especially enjoyed the customer service from Olga, who helped me with directions, staying on the phone with me until I could locate the shop. Thank you!

I reserved a rental chair from this company in the fall. My surgery was postponed twice, due to COVID and eventually canceled. In mid-January, I both called and emailed my reservation and requested a refund (within the allowable timeframe). I was assured by phone and email that my refund would be processed. It has now been over one month, multiple calls and emails and somehow, my refund has still not been processed. When you call, you end up at some call center being told a representative will call you back. Now they are simply ignoring my calls and emails. I have no idea what the issue is and they have turned what started as a pleasant transaction into a sour one. Don't rent here, don't trust them. Communication is terrible. Buyer beware.

If I could give a 0 review, I would.We ordered an electric wheelchair rental so my father could get around at my brothers wedding.The wheelchair came to us absolutely DISGUSTING - food and stuff all over it. Not only that, but IT DIDNT WORK!Unfortunately, we had a jam packed weekend with wedding stuff and didnt have a chance to test it until day of. To our surprise nothing happened. We kept it charged all day + night.We ended up not being able to use it at all and my father was stuck at the dinner table for the entire night.We contacted the company to let them know and get a refund and were immediately told it was our fault it didnt work and that the best they could do is a week free. No thank you. We already missed the big day. Then, he got mad at me for not calling saying that someone could have come fixed it in 3 hrs. We did not have time to have this broken chair fixed. It didnt work, the situation has now passed and we just want a refund. Nope, he refused. Again, blaming us while my disabled father never even got to use it.This was the worst customer service I have ever received. I would highly advise NOT using this company.

I cannot say enough good about this company and my experience with them. I walked into my Ortho's office in a walking cast and was unexpectedly put in a hard cast and told NOT to put any weight on my ankle. I needed a wheelchair immediately in order to move about my home that evening. Margaret answered and worked magic to get me the wheelchair which arrived as she promised that evening. I thank her team for the up and above customer service. Excellent!

Do not use this place. It s a total scam. Even the store front is shady. They charged more than double what I normally pay for a CPAP mask. They kept telling me they don t accept FSA cards and I forced them to try. Guess what, it worked.

I highly suggest you look elsewhere.I ordered a rental chair for an family member coming to our wedding. Due to health reasons they were unable to attend. We canceled the rental 40 days before the wedding and Never received a refund. I ve called and spoke with someone numerous times being told that my refund was gonna pending, or on its way and never got a refund. There customer service was rude most of the times I called.They constantly say they are short staffed so no one has time to look into it.

I rented a heavy duty mobile scooter for business during the week of June 18, 2017. The scooter was waiting for me at the Southbridge Hotel on that Sunday and it worked perfectly during the whole trip. The staff was friendly and they even e-mailed me my receipt. I will use them again!

I went there to buy a part for my c-pap machine (Airlift P10 Mask system). They charged me $175.00. Online they range from $69.00 up. Unfortunately , I had left mine at a friends over two hours away and needed that day. That's a pretty substantial price gouging in my opinion.

I placed a order on the first if the month and never received an email for shipping. After 5 days I called and was told they would call me back. Fast forward another 9 days still no email. Once I got ahold of some one they informed me that my items have shipped and I will receive a email shortly apparently shortly on the east coast is a lot longer then shortly on the west coast. Terrible customer service

1st class professional & honest service & people . I walked in asked for help for my Jazzy Scooter which was in my truck. They came out brought the scooter in, diagnosed the problem (batteries) & within the hour I was out the door. Cost was very reasonable & quite frankly batteries cost less then what I could find on line. I would suggest making an appointment

Terrible! First they dropped off the most disgusting and dirty wheel chair I have ever seen in my life. Like sticky food and scum all over it. Then to make matters worse it doesn t even work! My poor dad had to go without a mechanical wheelchair at his own sons wedding. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the time and frustration and look elsewhere.

I am nearly 60 and have not seen customer service like this since I was a kid. I broke a section of my CPAP machine and searched all over for a company to find a part replacement. When I called Boston Orthopedic, I was told that they did have a part, but it was an opened return and could not be re-sold. I was then offered the replacement part at no charge---I was completely taken aback by such generosity. It was a complete throw back to me to the times when businesses really cared about their customers. My elderly uncle is moving in with us this summer and you can bet I will be giving this company my business.

My first and will be the last experience with this company. I waited 1.5 hr for their service attendance to come to my clients home to repair her rollator's brakes, which was not functional for her because she is not physically strong enough to lock them- even I struggle with them! He didn't show up and I didn't get a phone call to be notified that he doesn't work after 4:00pm, although our appt was scheduled and confirmed for 4:30 to 6:30. In addition they said they didn't have my contact number, but they had called me a couple days before our appt to confirm that they have received the check and ready to proceed with the visit.When they finally gone out to see my client, their clinician did not make a note of the brakes but said that one of the wheels were loose, he left the house and I didnt get a call to follow up. My client wheel then fell out the next day and luckily she was with someone when that happened.On my next call, to find out why her brakes are still not functional, they told me that they have the parts for the wheel and there was no mentioning of the brakes on the report - 2 weeks later! And then told me that the first visit was only an evaluation, no actual service was to be done - this was not mentioned when I called to schedule our first appt.

It was disappointing! When I asked the delivery person if there were any instructions to dissemble the rental scooter it attached to the scooter he said no - you don't need them. We did need it! Also, it is difficult to reach the store as you have to leave a message and then the store will call you back.
