I came in spontaneously to have my brakes checked. The location of the driveway into their shop is a little confusing as there are do not enter signs on that same street but it s totally fine as long as you quickly drive straight in. They took me in immediately with one hour till closing time and was able to confirm what was going on just by looking at the area of significance and then called to see if they had the parts, told me how long it would take, and gave me a quote in less than 10 mins. They were incredibly efficient and even gave me a few suggestions as to other things that may be going on with my car- a strut issue and something in the rear. They didn t pressure me at all. They were incredibly informative and affordable; none of those extra fees included. I wish I could tip them!! I decided to walk to the mall (22 mins) to wait while they fixed my car. They came to pick me up from the mall! They even fixed my stroller which my husband got stuck somehow. Incredible service. Small business, probably family owned. I appreciated that I came in for one thing and I left with that one thing. When it comes to auto repair, it can get expensive (as I have experienced with other maintenance appointments). You go in for an oil change and you come out with 5 other things that needed to be done and next thing you know, you re paying $600 instead of the $80 you planned for. I will continue to be a customer as long as I live here in Braintree.

This shop is great. I ve come here twice thinking I needed service immediately, only for the owner to say it wasn t needed and on top of that explained in detail what was/could be wrong and how I needed to go about it. No runarounds, no pushing products or services, no diagnostic bs charges. The owner and shop are very honest and hardworking. I wouldn t go anywhere else around here.

After being referred to here by a friend, I will not go anywhere else. I would recommend this place to everyone! I ve always been given a very thorough explanation on what my car needs/doesn t need and what was done to it. For someone who knows little about cars (myself) the owner always makes sure I understand what parts were fixed and why!Service: Brake service & repair

My car horn was broken (beeping intermittently and sometimes continuously!!) and I needed a quick fix. The folks here helped me out tremendously and charged a fair price. Skilled and trustworthy.

Just brought my car here for the first time and had a great experience. Spoke to Jason to book my appointment, he was very professional and helpful. He gave me an estimate over the phone and answered all my questions without rushing me off the phone. I needed a radiator replaced on an older car, was quoted a great price, way lower than the other places I got estimates from. Wayne called me today when my car was done and let me know he did some other service work I needed and included it with the price. He was very knowledgeable and is helping me find another part I need for my car on e-bay. I don't think you will find better service for this price anywhere on the south shore!!!

I ve never met a more honest man/mechanic in my life. He has sent me away twice after checking everything in my car reassuring me it s all good for now, and another time from being too early on an oil change. My friend introduced me to Braintree Auto .I am very glad to find Braintree Auto Work, the Boss Wayne is great and very honest guy. When I went to fix my car, he would tell me what I really need done to my car and what is not necessary. After fixed the problem and charged me a very reasonable price!He even help me to check the car which I plan to buy for FREE! Also he has a great crew, Brenton gave me a very good advised for what car is better for me to buy, I really appreciate! They really deserve a great review.I will be coming here for all my needs in the future.

My car broke down in Boston and I live in Braintree so I called Wayne on a Saturday at 1 p.m. to ask if he could take a look. I had my car towed to Baintree Auto Works and within minutes Wayne knew what was wrong and he gave me a reasonable estimate for the repair. He offered to drive me to my house even though I live on the other side of town and he was headed home nowhere near where I live. What mechanic has ever offered that, let me think None! He told me he would get to my car on Monday and would call me when it was done. Wayne called me at 11:30 to let me know that my car was ready. He came in over budget but kept the price that was promised. My car is a 2005 with 163,000 miles so Wayne has won a new customer and I am telling everyone about his great service and prompt response when I was really in a jam. I did some research on my cars issue and Wayne not only gave me a great price but he tended to some other things without my asking him. Great service and a great price, that is very hard to find these days. Thank you to Wayne and his crew to getting me back on the road so quickly.

These guys are incredible. In and out in no time at all, with parts and labor totaling a low enough price to knock your socks off. Advice on what to keep am eye on is free if charge. Tell your friends.

Are you kidding me? Who would give this place less than 5 stars? Honest, gracious, great value, great quality repair, diagnostivc, and service. My go to place for years now with 2 different cars. No brainer. Hope he stays here forever.

Had a wheel bearing replaced here and the staff was awesome! I've never had a mechanic show me the parts he replaced or walked me through the what he did on my car. Will be getting my brakes done here next!

This place is a SCAM and a RIP OFF. The guy here would tell you to leave you car here so he can get back to you when he has time.... When you only ask him to check on something for you right? Then he never calls you back or when he does he goes and fix it or almost fix it. Then he charges you... EVEN THOUGH I ONLY WANTED IT CHECKED NOT "FIXED" this way you have to pay him no matter what. He also fraud-fully go and said he fixed something and after an hour of it being "fixed" the same problem occurs again. So he made me pay for something he didn't fixed and he told me he can't promise or guarantee that he have time to look at it when I brought it back the next day...... NEVER COME HERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIX!!!!
