LOVE this place!!!! So excited to have such a great place in Boston to maintain my bike. They re so passionate and artsy and technical. Very impressed with this place. Came in on a busy Saturday and the owner got me in for an inspection and took care of a slew of things that were overdue on my Triumph. I can see myself just hanging here this summer. Coffee and food in the cafe is exceptional too. Love this place!! Did I say that already?

I just had a bike shipped up from Florida and needed a place close by to store it for the winter. The person I purchased my motorcycle from recommended Madhouse motors. I gave them a call and spoke with Andy. He informed me of the price that included an oil change which was very reasonable. When I brought my bike there I met "J", the proprietor who was very warm and inviting despite her "rough and tough" look. Andy was also there. Checking in my bike for storage was seamless. After that I went directly next door to their Cafe and had a very good sticky bun and caramel latte made by Nicholas their in house barista. I'm looking forward to establishing a working relationship/friendship with Madhouse for all my motorcycle needs and eventually have them build the bike of my dreams.

I came to Madhouse motors in a bind (stuck bolt on the edge of stripping), they were super nice! Evan took care of my bike right away and worked with me to get it unstuck. He was super careful and meticulous.Highly recommend!!!

I come from a family of riders and wrenchers, and I'm picky about shops. I generally do my own service on my bikes but know when I am in over my head. Madhouse saved my butt last spring when I botched a repair on my swingarm. Nick and crew were fantastic and sourced a used part and had me on the road in time for a big trip.Took my SMT 990 in this December for a valve adjustment and they found a mouse had chewed through the harness. Lovely. I worked with Rami -- who treated the bike like his own. He worked to get parts at cost to save me some money. He was also genuinely pumped on my KTM and the LC8 engine. Had a great chat about its aggressive cam!I'll be looking for any excuse to stop by the shop and talk to J and crew, and will definitely be bringing in my other bikes. Ride safe!

I made a special trip into Boston to visit this shop/ cafe, and it did not disappoint! All of the staff was gracious and helpful. The owner was onsite for questions and conversation. The food is delicious, and bonus~ you can watch the mechanics work their magic while you eat. I can t wait to bring my fellow enthusiasts here for lunch and motorcycle gawking.

Madhouse Motors is an excellent repair shop. The owner has always been there and she takes great care making sure I'm a happy customer and my motorcycle is in tip top shape. It's great to have a legit repair shop right in the City of Boston.

Such a cool place to see - I was on a work trip and had this on my bucket list. Although I wasn t in need of any repairs, the owner and staff were very welcoming and invited my wife, child and I to go have a look around at some of the bikes. I wish we had something like this here bc I would definitely trust them with my own bike.

I ve had my bike serviced here and the team obviously care a lot. I was fully informed along the way and the process and price was clear to me, and every one I talked to clearly took their job and my safety as a rider seriously. Not to mention this may be the coolest place I ve seen. A cafe next door to a bike workshop definitely makes me wish I could quit my job and hang out here all day.

Very rude, snobby, and condescending, the owner is a very angry woman, honestly I don't write many reviews but my experience with this shop was very unpleasant hopefully you have a better experience than I did but this shop is not very welcoming to the community. Good luck spending almost 300 dollars for 1 rim to be mount and balanced. As I said the manufacturer, the insurance company and the registry of motor vehicles all classify it as a motorcycle. Let me guess all black people look the same aswell? Unbelievable!Anyways cost 235 dollars to tighten spokes and put 2 little counter dollar weights on rim. Over priced services good luck guys.

Flying visit from the UK to the Cape with two days in Boston, so made a point of dropping into Madhouse for a coffee and a T-shirt. Spotting J pushing a toolbox out the window was like seeing a celebrity in the wild. Will return to set off on a bike trip across the US one day. Love to all at MHM.

I dropped my bike last May and searched on google for a good shop for bikes, J s Mad House Motors came up from its perfect reviews. She was super helpful, professional and went beyond what was her part to help me out from towing my bike to her shop, fixing it for me, store the bike throughout the the winter and even help me to sell the bike since I wasn t really keen on riding again after my incident. Her rate was very reasonable and performed professional work. All of her teams were truly bike lovers, I was lucky to found her shop and I appreciate her help all the way! 100% recommended!

Best coffee shop in Boston! I love going here to read, drink a unique Tahini latte, and eat feta and spinach pies and delicious lemon cakes! The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. You can come here and meet someone, chat with the friendly baristas, or sit and read the cool collection of National Geographics and history books. Thankful to have a place like this to visit.

I had a bike that had no problems which had been sitting for 8 months.. before even looking at the bike was told it would be $1000-3000 based on a computer algorithm they use. prior to that brought a bike in to get mirrors installed & left with brake lights and left turn signal not working.. then they tried to charge me for that smh. Not many bike places in the city.. but would not recommend this 1

Simply the best!!These guys (and gal) are SO good, AND, so helpful, AND so cool, it's almost a treat to have an excuse to swing by the shop - and I mean, as a North Eastern biker with a short motorcycle season, you really don't want too many excuses. But that's how fun - and efficient - any visit to the shop is. Plus, you can wait in the cafe (with AC) that has recently been rated as best new cafe in Boston (rightfully so) by can't-remember-which Boston magazine. The drinks (best decaf latte) and pastries are perfect/delicious, and if J is around, there will be some oriental pastries (at least baklavas) freshly baked by her mom and that are to die for.

So I went for my bike inspection there and thought of fitting some 2 accessories after reading all the good reviews. The staff were kind and the place has a good vibe and all of that. My inspection was done but for some odd reason they said they will not fit the accessories on my bike since it's a royal enfield and it is their policy. I mean it's a motorbike workshop and it takes just 2 bolts to remove for getting both the accessories installed. I don't understand what they have against royal enfield.Anyways got my inspection done. But still confused about the reason they gave me for not installing the preload adjusters and air cooler cover.

I recently put my 2019 Aprilia Tuono in for a service with Madhouse, the service was fairly extensive including new carbon wheels being fitted and balanced, new tires, a new exhaust being added with ECU flashing, oil change, brake fluid flushing and new reservoir and a coolant replacement. The work was immaculate, and fast, and the bike looked amazing but the real change was when I took it out on its first ride. It was night and day, the team had finessed the bike and it is a dream to ride, smoother acceleration right across the range, better cooling and a more balanced feel to the bike. Cannot recommend Mark and the team more, they are highly experienced, and obviously passionate about bikes, and it shows. Thanks Madhouse team.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Amazing shop with great service. Worked with Nick who was extremely helpful. He answered all of my questions by sharing his professional opinion and not trying to sale me something. The shop has a nice calm energy to it which helped me feel more comfortable. Prices are great as well. Highly recommend this shop and will be returning for as long as it s around.Services: Tires, Oil change

I want to give a big shout out to J and MadHouse MotorsMy story: I am brand new to riding, last season a BMW 300 and this season a Sportster Harley 1200.My problem: I purchased my bike at a HD dealership that, it is now confirmed took advantage of my inexperience. The most concerning thing was they installed 10 inch hangers in such a tilted low position that it was actually dangerous for riding safety:Mad House: I showed up the shop after the handle bars started to have play in them. J was 100% the best professional I have interacted with so far in the process. She educated me and reassured me, I was definitely feeling like a dummy, and most importantly she started a trusting relationship. Conclusion: Don t get Harleyitis and spend 5K on improperly fitted accessoriesLocal shops and local connections are the best.I would recommend Mad House to anyoneThank you Mad House for being a part of our community

This is the best repair shop I have experienced by far. Much prefer taking my bike here over the dealer. I've had madhouse help me with tire replacements, winter storage, and general services and every time it is a breeze! Mark gets back to me via email extremely fast. My recent visit was for my Triumph Street Triple, all the dealers were not easy to communicate with nor helpful with my issue. Madhouse replied to my inquiry within 15 min, gave me an appointment within 30 min, and had me on my way in another 15 min! Mark got working on my bike right away which I can't say about any other repair shop I've encountered! Will definitely be back if future repairs are needed!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff doing excellent work on bikes. I did have to make an extra trip back because they made a mistake on their tire inventory, but at least they fessed up and didn t try and pass the buck.

Mike and the entire crew at Mad house is amazing. they run the best bike shop I have been too across the US and UK. I love this place. As soon as you walk in, you get the sense that the people that run this place love their job. They will let you know in advance exactly what they will need to do along with the price estimate. They are very knowledgable, super friendly, honest and transparent. By email they are very responsive, polite, and clear in their communication. Initially I brought my motorcycle that I bought second hand for a general inspection and to replace the tires. They did a great job and they were honest telling me that the bike was actually in top condition. The second time I brought it here was because I forgot the lights on and run out of battery. Mark was again very honest telling me that he did not have to change the battery but just recharge it. He did this for free despite the fact that I insisted I wanted to pay for the service. Moreover he installed a cable that allows me to charge the battery by myself if this happens again. He is also super helpful in answering all my questions and providing me with tips. I am very happy I have found this place and definitely recommend it.Services: Tires, Battery, Oil change
