Purchased a certified pre-owned mini through Marcus at HC Mini Boston and the experience was delightful. There was no pressure or discomfort during the process at all. I'd highly recommend dealing with Marcus if you're in the market for a mini.

We went to Herb Chambers Mini on Tuesday to end our current lease. We had no idea which way we wanted to proceed. David Lopez gave us 100% of his attention. He listened to all our thoughts and concerns. After hearing all our options we ended up driving home in a brand new Mini Cooper! New color, called sage, we immediately fell in love with. David made this whole experience pleasant and comfortable, unlike any car buying experience we have ever had. Need to buy or lease a Mini? I went to another MINI dealership prior to working with David at Herb Chambers of Boston and I was not pleased at all with the service. I made one phone call to Herb Chambers, and boy am I happy I did. I worked with Liz and David and they were both so helpful, friendly, and timely in getting back to me. If you are in the market for a MINI, I highly recommend working with the staff here.

One knows well how buying or leasing a car from a dealership can turn out to be one long series of botherments and vicissitudes. My recent experience with Abdou Merheb was quite to the contrary. To be sure, I had purchased a BMW from him four years back and found the transaction from its inception to its closure to be as smooth a ride has one might hope for. Abdou was cordial and ever attentive, eager to help me find what I wanted and not to press or push. It made sense that I sought him out this fall while looking for a Mini Cooper. Once again, everything proceeded with ease and dispatch; Abdou was his inimitably pleasant, patient, and helpful self. The only hitch in the transaction was caused by my insurance company that bungled the details of my account number and slowed down arrangements at the last minute. Abdou came to the rescue and drew attention to the problem and made certain that the car was ready when we had hoped and planned to pick it up.If you are looking for a congenial, agreeable, and unstintingly reliable person from whom to buy a car, Abdou Merheb is your man.

So happy with my experience at Herb Chambers MINI of Boston! I found my mini from a google search - certified pre-owned - and came in to test-drive it. I worked with Sam Hesketh-Tutton, who made the process super easy and fun! We test-drove my mini and I fell in love with it! He walked me through the process and within an hour, I was officially the new owner of a 2015 Mini Cooper! I noticed some dings in the side panel and bumper from the previous owner, so he agreed to have the bumper replaced and the scratches buffed out before I picked it up later that week! Overall, it was a great experience. Definitely ask for Sam if you're looking for a great experience buying a car - he really took great care to educate me about the ins-and-outs of my mini and was super patient answering all of my follow up questions. Thank you!!!

My salesman, Sam, worked hard to find the right pre-owned car for me- I had a long wish-list and he managed to find me a great low mileage car with all the bells and whistles that I wanted- everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful- it could not have been a less stressful experience- and I love my new (to me) Mini Countryman! Theo Turney is the most helpful person, I came here to get a oil change and he recommended I get the MINI Maintenance Oil Services plan which includes unlimited oil and oil filter changes for three years for $225.00. I would recommend to anyone to come get your service done here, they even send you a video clip of the work being done. All the workers here are great!

The MINI Cooper is excellent and fits my 2 primary criteria for a car, small and quirky.The first salesperson was Norm. The sales process was friendly, easy going, and no pressure. My only issues - I was told I would be able to choose from a list of available cars meeting my criteria. I was only shown 1. Also, at the time of my visit I was not aware that there are 2 models of the Cooper; Base and S. I was only shown (then sold) the Base model. I wish I had know what I was not getting. Buyer's regret there.The second salesperson was Samuel Hesketh-Tutton. Friendly and accommodating. I had to pick up the car earlier than planned and it was no bother. My only complaint is the racing stripes had not been put on the car as planned (with Norm). Although it was taken care of on the spot... I had to wait while they were "quickly" put on, Unfortunately, they are not symmetrical on the bonnet and the edges are already raising up. As this is a lease, the issue is theirs to fix. I cannot take responsibility for their workmanship.Under Coating Moment:As with all Car Dealers, there is a moment when you are taken to a room where a SUIT talks to you about the purchase and determines the final costs and payments, etc. Part of this was a full-press, hard sell of a very under described "Maintenance Plan". It gets rated as an Under Coating Moment because the cost was presented as "what the plan will cost per WEEK". Very sketchy sales gimmick. I asked for the total over 3 years - heard the amount and turned it it down. Then had to wait through continuous brow beating as the gentlemen proceeded to nickel and dime the price down. It was a real put off and has left a bad taste in my mouth for the Dealership.The low points are highlighted here, but the overall experience was very good and the car is great. I have not yet had to get maintenance or Dealer service, so no ratings there.

I had a great experience at Herb Chambers Mini of Boston. My salesperson David Lopez was wonderful! He answered my questions, sought the best deal for me, and matched me with the perfect car. The car I ended up choosing had only just arrived at the showroom, but he got the details organized immediately. We crunched the numbers, and my dream car turned out to be the most cost effective. He patiently showed me all the tips I needed to drive the car.Omar in the finance department was also most helpful and informative. Liz welcomed me to the Mini family with a Mini travel mug and a toy replica of my red Mini! Of course, Melissa Steffy was particularly gracious and happy to set me up with her stellar team.Best of all, I love my Mini! It looks great and is a dream to drive. It felt from the start like my car. I feel as though the people I worked with went above and beyond to match me with the perfect car for me.

I have been servicing my cooper from 2011 ever since I bought it at Herb Chambers. Mark Ravin has always given me the advice that was best for my car. This could even mean less service rather than pushing me into getting more things done to the car than necessary.

My experience buying from Herb Chambers MINI and particularly Rodrigo Moreno was great as all ways! I arrived around 11am to look for a pre-owned Mini Clubman, purchased and was driving it away by 1PM.2nd purchase from Herb Chamber s Mini, they make it easy.

I keep my cars for a long time, but also know when it's time to get a new one and usually, I'm 95% sure which make/model I want. I'd browsed the Mini showroom on my own (was asked if I would like help, but I'm a initial "I'm just looking" type.) When I went in the next time I was sure I wanted to buy, but had no previous experience with Mini (I'd been a VW owner for 20+ years). Brian could not have been more helpful, explained the options, took me on a test drive, and in general was not about pressure but about making sure I got what I wanted in my new car. He found one for me with the features I wanted and never came on heavy re options I wasn't really interested in. I arrived, test drove a few cars, and made the deal with Brian in one short afternoon. A week later, I picked it up and Brian made sure I knew how to operate it all. I drove off with smile on my face that returns every time I get behind the wheel of my new Mini. Brian's followed up a few times just to see that everything's going well. (I needed a notarized letter stating that my trade in still had my resident parking sticker attached in order to get a new sticker for the Mini. Brian took care of getting that letter, so now I'm all set with my new parking sticker ... above and beyond the call of duty!)

My most recent experience with the Herb Chambers sMini-Cooper service department on Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton was as successful as my previous experiences. I arrived in a sputtering 2014 Countryman and was attended to right away. Mark Ravin processed the car and told me 30 minutes later what the matter was and that 2-3 hours would be needed for repairs. I took advantage of the comfortable lounge and the proximity to Clear Flour Bakery to pass the time. I purchased this car used in 2015, and it has served me very well ever since. We always go to Herb Chambers and its representative Mark Ravin when our car needs service.

Mark from Herb Chambers Mini service is the absolute best! From the moment I walked in, Mark made me feel taken care of. His review of what was needed for my car was incredibly thorough, and his communication throughout the process was consistent and efficient. We don't really leave reviews but I got to say that Theo (from Herb Chambers Mini) is absolutely phenomenal! Always helpful! and always going above and beyond what is needed! We have had multiple maintenance and repairs, and Theo is always there to help and guide us. Very transparent, patient, knowledgeable, and customer-oriented. I was traveling in Boston from Missouri. My Mini picked up a nail in the tire and the tire needed to be replaced. I called the dealership and talked with Mark. He said to bring it in and they would take care of me right away. When I arrived, Mark quickly got me in for the repair and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Mark was very professional and genuinely cared about my needs, especially considering I would probably not be a repeat customer. Mark is a valuable asset to this dealership. The worst experience I ve ever had with a dealer garage. My car was here for over 5 months and I was told multiple times it ll be ready Tuesday & there s a part in Germany to the point of nauseam, until after paying the loan & insurance on a car for 7 months was I told (two days after it would absolutely be fixed) oh actually the engines broken . It s entirely understandable to not be able to fix a car, but to not know for nearly half a year is absolutely unacceptable. Not only I never return to this location I ll never touch a MINI/BMW again. Horribly unreliable service (from the cars themselves & the technicians)

This is where I purchased my Mini Cooper and recently stopped in bc one tire was losing air. I wanted to just add some air or have it looked at it. I didn't even have an appointment, but the service person Mark took me right in. He was super courteous invited me to sit in the lounge and have some coffee while waiting. Within 30 minutes they identified the problem and 20 minutes later resolved it and washed my car. Mark kept me appraised throughout the process, explained everything and found ways to apply discounts to the bill. I was really pleased with the outcome and hope I don't need to go back for service but when I do I will definitely go back to Mark at Herb Chambers Mini.

Our 2013 Mini Hardtop was facing some major repairs in the coming months so we did a trade-in with David. Really appreciated how David worked with us to find a new car that was in our budget and had the features we wanted. Our whole experience was wonderful and easy, from the initial visit to working with the finance department. If you are thinking of buying or leasing a MINI, I can, without hesitation, recommend Herb Chambers MINI of Boston and David Lopez. David clearly loves his work. Over a period of several visits, he patiently answered all of my questions and enthusiastically helped me build the perfect MINI Countryman for me. With shortages of everything from computer chips to ship s captains, we knew it would be a wait. But, David kept me informed all along the way- and, it was worth the wait!! Finally, thanks to David, I even know how to use all of the toggle switches!

I have been bringing my Mini Cooper Convertible here for service since I moved here in August 2019. The staff have always been super friendly, quick to get me in for service, thorough in their inspection, and efficient at fixing any issues with my car. They even looked up my registration online for me when I realized my inspection was due but couldn t find my paper copy. It seems to be on the pricey side (though I don t have much to compare it to since my car is a 2015 and only recently started needing service), but it has always seemed worth it because I trust that they will do a good job and I feel safe driving my car on long road trips after they have worked on it.Most recently, I had an issue with my car alarm going off unexpectedly. You can imagine how stressful it was when I was on the phone with the service representative, car alarm blaring uncontrollably in the background. I had, in the past 6 months, spent a significant amount of money in repairs on 2 separate visits (car hit the 5 year mark) and was frustrated that there was another issue. Admittedly, I was not my usual friendly self on the phone. Still, the representative was calm and professional. They got my car in that day, *everyone* was friendly and helpful (despite the fact that I lost it a little bit on the phone), did a thorough inspection (there was nothing wrong, but they did explain what they thought happened...made sense), and returned my car cleaned inside and out at no charge with a coupon for my next service hanging on the rear view mirror. They definitely have a customer for the life of this vehicle and I will be buying the next one from them. Great job guys!
