I got to Boston late one night around 10:30pm. I was very hungry and started exploring what kitchens were still open. Decided to take a walk on Hanover Street. Around 11pm took a right on Prince Street and opened the door to Artu. There was no one there except a couple of people behind the bar that alerted me that the kitchen was still open. I had a very low expectation of what I was about to consume. To my surprise the food was phenomenal!I ordered a caprese salad that had super fresh mozzarella and tasty tomatoes. Short Rib ravioli was right after as a main course, and also amazing! As I was finishing my meal, Artu filled up with patrons looking to grab a drink and a late night snack.I was glad that spontaneity and a little luck landed me at Artu! Great place with awesome food.Update 12/21/2023Brought my two older sons here. Just as awesome as the first time!!!

Great Italian food here! I was very content with my meal and so was the rest of my family. Although it wasn t anything crazy special, I enjoyed my short rib ravioli. Our salad unfortunately was way too doused in dressing. As per the service though, they were great at refilling our waters, but it would have been nice if they had offered grated cheese on our entrees. Besides those small complaints, I was very happy and definitely recommend this place to try!

If you are visiting Boston from out of town, and want an amazing meal in Little Italy, I am forwarding this recommendation from a local to us and it did us justice! Myself, husband and our 7 year old son had a wonderful experience because it began with wonderful service. We had an amazing server Alyssa who offered amazing recommendations of the menu and wine list. The food was perfect just what you want to experience, we started w a meat and cheese board which was perfect! We had spaghetti and meatballs, stuffed veal and melt in your mouth short rib raviolis for dinner! It was awesome and Alyssa made our experience more awesome by giving us the perfect time to indulge and eat as a family but also spending time sharing stories and made us feel like friends from minute one to moment end! Thank you Artu!

Had a wonderful meal and excellent service. We had a large party that was easily accommodated and were seated quickly. We ordered the calamari, and bread appetizer, both of which were delicious. The Gnocchi, Shortrib Ravioli, lasagna, spinach manicotti, and tiramisu for dessert. The quality of the meal was top notch and (not sure if owner or manager) waiting on us service was really the star of the meal. Would absolutely recommend and would visit again.

Stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening, no dinner reservation needed. Food was flavorful, service was very nice and professional, and the food came out quickly. Dining area was simple, no frills. The dining area filled up quickly while we were there. When we left, the bar area was pretty busy. First time here, and highly recommend.Started with two apps, octopus and meatballs. For entrees, ordered the beet salad, spaghetti all amatriciana, puttanesca, and the fusilli + sausage + broccoli rabe.Prices were consistent with the other medium-range priced restaurants, but the food and service made every cent worth it!

Every restaurant in town had a long wait, but we were able to get in here pretty easily. It wasn't empty, but just not a wait time. Our service was amazing. I highly enjoyed the restaurant. I feel a bit mixed with the food. For appetizer, we had lobster arancinis. Just a warning, a little spice to it, but it's not noticeable until after you finish a bite. I had Fettuccine Norcina, which I was expecting to be a cream sauce made with black truffle cheese in it. It was a cream sauce and the truffle cheese was just added on top. I felt the cream sauce alone was just a little flat, but still decent. The problem may just have been my own expectation. Now my mom had chicken marsala. That marsala was absolutely amazing. I don't even like marsala and thought it was delicious. Wonderful flavor in the mushrooms.

Honestly i don't write reviews, so this says something. The taste of food was so bland, legit had no taste. I tried 3 different kinds of pastas and the clams, me and my peers tasted nothing from them. No flavor whatsoever. The service was poor, my napkin was dirty and he yanked it out of my hand when I asked him for a new one. He noticed I didn't even touch my plate and proceeded to keep in the bill for a bigger tip which he didn't get. Please go somewhere else, I went there 03/10/24 at 9 pm

We came last night for dinner, myself and my cousin after a show in the theater district. We love lobster so we got the Lobster Arancini and we did not like it :( it was too spicy and we didn t even taste any lobster. I got the gnocchi and meatball dish for my entree. The pasta was over cooked.Overall, the servers were excellent but the food wasn t so great.

Ended up doing the reverse pipeline, clubbing first, restaurant after. This was recommended to us by mutual friend, and trust me, it doesn't disappoint. The food was excellent, and the kitchen doesn't close until LATE. Being used to the typical fast food / quick options, it was an incredibly nice surprise to be able to get such an upscale experience. This will definitely become a staple spot whenever late night dining is a necessity!

We had the best date night dinner here about two weeks ago.Came in for pre-dinner cocktails (the Negroni is top-tier), ended up having dinner at the bar because the bartender was just so friendly and what a great turn of events it was! We shared an assortment of appetisers: the grilled octopus, country bread and a sort of bruschetta with tomatoes and burrata, all absolutely delicious! The octopus was perfectly cooked and tender and we mopped up ALL of the marinade with the bread provided (only thing I would change is the quality of the bread, it could definitely be improved -I was raised in France sorry haha- but it was complimentary so no complaints) and the bruschetta with burrata was so fresh-tasting and bright, we were tempted to order seconds of it. We shared an eggplant parmigiana as a main and it was the best I ve ever had, all in all SUCH an enjoyable meal, ambience was great, staff are lovely, great experience all around.

Pasta was OK.. lacked flavor some, but the price was insane for the amount and quality of food recieved. Atmosphere wasn t so welcoming- definitely a lackluster modern Italian style. The lobster arancini appetizer dish was the saving grace of the night. Do recommend that dish!

First time visit, last minute reservation for a family of 5 around 9:30pm on NYE. Had a hard time finding the dining room section of the restaurant because the bar section was packed with people and blocked the entry. Didn t realize the kitchen closed at 10pm, but waiting staff and chef were patient with us which I appreciated. Food was amazing, it was great to have authentic Italian for our last dinner of 2023. I recommend the carbonara, calamari, and bruschetta. The tiramisu cake and cannolis are worth a try as well.

As the saying goes...every cloud has a silver lining and on Christmas Eve, after nearby Ristorante Saraceno gave way our reservations and then treated us like bottom-rung patrons over it, Artu became our silver lining. Everything was perfect, from our waitress to the food...even the atmosphere. My mushroom tortellini was made to perfection complete with a savory cream sauce. My daughter who eats so much shrimp, I swear some day she's going to turn into one -- said the scampi dish she ordered at Artu's was some of the best she's had. It was as if, all along, this was where we were intended to spend our special evening. Thank you fate and thank you Artu. It is quite literary a mouthwatering jewel of Prince Street and now a "sung" hero in our book!

Restaurant was fine. Nothing was bad, but nothing was very special. All food and drinks were okay. Food was fine but didn t match the higher price. Service was friendly, atmosphere was fine.

Wish I could show you my food but I ate it so fast the staff is nice and talked with us beyond just what we were ordering. The vibe inside is great. It s right off the main road so it s a little more chill which I liked

Do not order online (especially that BS DoorDash is fronting with Caviar) poor packaging. The tiramisu was tightly packaged over hot lasagna and it melted. Scallops weren't fresh, an expectation I had for a restaurant like this. Not worth the price.

Pollo Donato is amazing. Exceptional service, great location just off Hanover St, good ambiance and food is always delicious. Nice variety of menu options and apps. I first started coming here 25 years ago when I was dating my wife- this was our go-to place when we worked in the city and even though I now travel all over the US, I would still put this on my short list of favorite restaurants. Highly recommended!!!!

Low quality food, low service (please stop smoking weed when you work). Tourist trap. Cheese and cold cuts have low quality and the tagliatelle with pork and cheese truffle were very heavy to digest. The truffle cheese . Has no truffle in it and barely taste of it. This is not Italian cucine.

Mediocre food. Weird music choices for an Italian eatery. The Negroni was good.

I would highly recommend Artu to anyone seeking Delicious Italian Cuisine while in Boston. Tucked away on Prince St. The Octopus was Up there with the Best I've ever had. Prepared perfectly and the marinade was SUPER Delish & this Lasagna was out of this world.. The feeling of, just one more bite because of all the flavors and the quality of Cheese was noticed with every bite. Thank you Kelly for your service and recommendations. Maybe they deliver in California.. j/k.. 5 Star
