What a great guy! Jeff was accommodating of my schedule, and tipped me off to some potential issues while giving my Civic a needed alignment. No upsell involved. Just great service.Now keep in mind this is a SMALL garage. You're not going to be greeted by customer service staff. There is no customer service staff. Just the automotive mechanics here doing the work they love.

Jeff and the team do a great job at a reasonable price. I like to use a local and knowledgeable mechanic when i can, and A-1 meets that need.

Reserved and confirmed pickup of a UHaul van from A-1 well in advance. Was given instructions to access key in lock box at pickup. There was no key inside the box at pickup. There was no response from the business to the fact that the box that was supposed to contain the key was empty, even after spending over an hour on the phone with a UHaul representative who was trying to reach someone for us. It's pretty easy to take the reservation. But if the business that takes the reservation does not follow through on the reservation, which is the point of the reservation, it causes extreme hardship, especially on one of the busiest moving weekends of the calendar year. We never got another truck. This is an obnoxious and unprofessional way to run a business.

They have NO PROBLEM giving away your UHAUL reservation to someone else, leaving you in a lurch!!!! My husband had to drive to Northborogh to get another one after we had made our reservation over a month ago with A-1 Automotive, only to find out they gave it away our trailer someone else the night before even though we clearly had a reservation - NOT AN ERROR. Then, when I called the agent to complain about this, he just put the phone aside and refused to talk with me about it.

Tried to tell me a lower balljoint and my tie rod was one piece told me it would be $900 this guys a rip off and i was charged $300 for a alignment save your self alot of money an dont go here
