This place is wonderful!! They are knowledgeable and very skilled in their craft! Dustin was great in making sure my car was safe to drive. I feel as though he treated the repair as if he was doing it for his mother or a daughter. It is nice to know as a woman there is an auto repair shop that will treat you with the same respect as a male!! This will be my go to place for all future car repairs!!

This is a great trusty auto shop. They may not have a website or a way to make appointments online (call them), but they don't need to. With expert service at reasonable prices, word of mouth is enough to keep them plenty busy. If you own a non-US car, this is where you need to have your car serviced.

Honest, straightforward mechanics with integrity. Steve, Brian, and now Steve s son Dustin have been taking care of our family s Honda s for nearly 30 years. I wouldn t think of taking our Honda s anywhere else. I wish I could find mechanics this trustworthy and personable where I live now.

Went there for Blue Man Group show. We were 10 minutes from show start time. We stopped at the front desk to ask for direction. Instead of telling us where to go, they keep trying to sell us promo packages. Eventually, they gave us the wrong direction. Other groups experienced the same issue. We fmrun into other people in the building trying to find the same show but got lost.

Dropped my 1999 Lexus Ls 400 off in the afternoon for an oil leak . They called the next Morning with the diagnosis. No More Leaks !!! Very reasonable pricing , Very nice people Great customer service !!! I won t take my car any where else after this great experience!! Thanks for everything

Came in to diagnose a sound. Got a good quote for shock replacement and they completed it quickly with an itemized bill that made sense. Polite but not slick. I will return for any more repairs or maintenance on my Honda.Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

These guys are the best! If you have a foreign made car, I highly suggest this business. As a woman, I've had a range of interactions with vehicle repair places, and they don't treat me any differently than a man. They charge for the work that they do (in troubleshooting an issue the first time I brought my car in, they could have probably charged me thousands more for troubleshooting, but didn't ), and weirdly, they *only* recommend work that does need to be done (weirdly they don't try to get you to pay for "all the things" like dealerships). They're patient and HONEST. if you're looking for a great mechanic, give them your business!

I'm only giving a 5 star rating because Google won't let me give any more. These guys are quick, have fair prices, but (most importantly) are honest and ethical. It's occasionally inconvenient that they aren't open on weekends, close by 4pm, have very little parking, and don't have a key drop box, but i would never take my Toyota anywhere else in the area... unless they suggested doing so for a particular job. Absolutely the best I have worked with in anywhere in the Maryland/Virginia/DC area.

Interact with mechanics who explosion everything. Best prices and so honest. Have even been told that a service thought needed was not. Several times free inspection if bad work by area dealers (in. HoCo). Our go to place for hybrids & regular . So honest & helpful re what can & can t do . And when repairs no longer are $ sense.

This is the ONLY shop to consider when needing a Honda, Toyota etc repair. I've been patronizing them for many years and they are the reason I've driven a Honda Civic to 310k miles and an Accord to 472k miles. They absolutely know their stuff and are all great, honest, and fair people!!

This place is fantastic and I trust them completely! I discovered them when my car brakes quit and they were the closest tow. Their service is professional, excellent and priced more than fairly. I brought my car back for an oil change and the service was equally excellent. This is the only place in Maryland I'll take my car to for now on. They are the best. Really efficient and really honest. I have always been very satisfied with all the work they have done on my cars. I am very very impressed by their honest assessments and estimates on all the repairs they have done. I honestly believe I have saved thousands of dollars since I started going to them for all my car repairs.

I own a popular reliable Japanese car. My dealership wrote me a lengthy tune-up report more than two years ago saying my brake pads were worn down to .1 in. Since they'd been pushing $1400+ repairs on a fairly new car with low mileage (I work from home) annually, and the brakes felt fine to me, that was the last straw.My neighbors who used these guys for years recommended them. They told me to wait on the brake pads, and lo and behold the pads held out until this week, when they changed them for a reasonable rate. Another two times I took the car to them because I felt something was off (the tire light was on, etc.) and both times they gave me a clear bill of health and didn't charge me a penny, even though times are hard during the pandemic and they spent time looking at the car. Lovely people with impeccable integrity. They own my business now.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Most honest group of mechanics you'll ever find anywhere. Family run business that we've been using for over 15 years to service our Toyotas and Hondas. I hesitate to write this review only because I don't want them to get busier than they already are...you cannot go wrong with these guys and that's a fact!!

Foreign Auto Experts is the HONEST car repair place I have been looking for for years! They have helped me with my car and saved me a lot of money compared to the dealership. One of the parts they replaced ended up having a manufacturer defect and they fixed it at no extra cost to me, not even for the extra service and time it took them to do it.My husband recently took his car there for an issue and they actually sent him to another place because the other place could do the work cheaper for us. Who does that anymore? Love that we can trust our cars to them and know we're not getting ripped off. Also love that they respond to Facebook messages and Steve who I often speak with on the phone is super helpful and kind. Highly recommend!Services: Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I broke my mirror and casing on my 2016 Honda CR-V. I called the Honda dealership and they were going to charge me a high price and I had to go to another dealership to get the mirror. I knew there had to be a better option somewhere else. My relative told me that Foreign Auto experts had good reviews on Nextdoor and they specialized in Honda repairs. I decided to give them a try. I m so glad she told me about this place. The guys were so nice, professional, and gave me a more than fair price on my mirror. It took no time for the parts to come in or for them to install it. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone with a Honda looking to bypass the dealership. Thank you guys!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Hands down the best auto repair shop in this State. Brian, Steve, and Dustin are honest and decent people. They will never suggest a repair that isn't necessary and always attempt to do any repair the most cost effective way. They use quality parts and workmanship on all repairs is excellent. I can't say enough good things about them.

I had my first experience with Foreign Auto Experts today, as they worked on my Nissan. I needed a new mechanic around the Columbia area, and had heard about them from a Howard Co social media group and a Google search. The two owners of Foreign Auto Experts were communicative, incredibly fair with pricing, and honest in what work needed to be done and what did not. I tried them out based on reviews saying they were honest and pricing was reasonable although not the cheapest around (according to others). Honestly I found the pricing amazing; they didn t charge labor for what they considered something minor. I felt respected and would describe them as honest and fair. I highly recommend them and will be returning for future maintenance needs.

By far the best service and price I have ever received from an auto business. The staff have always been courteous and have always done amazing work on my Honda Accord. Best of all, the owner is always upfront on his honest opinion on what should be done and doesn t try to up-sell unnecessary maintenance. Highly recommend to anyone!

I used to have my oil change at a dealership and the bill was always over $200 each trip, based on the technician's recommendations. I fell in love with this place after a referral from a church friend and have been taking my car there ever since. They are awesome and honest folks, and they only service Asian cars. The price is very reasonable - less than $40 for an oil change on my civic. Many of my friends also take their cars there. Highly recommended!

I paid over the market rate for break pad & rotor rotation - about $100 more than other mechanics. However, the owner did a great job of explaining to me that the high price comes with premium parts that will get the job done for as long as they say they will. In a machine that controls whether you live or die - that is paramount. I really appreciate the work they did. High price. Premium Parts - better than what you'd get anywhere else except the dealership!Service: Brakes

My family has been going there since the 90's and I have recommended them to EVERYONE. Even when I was working at Dealerships in the Service dept. I would tell my customers about them.They have always treated us fairly and honestly. They will tell you what needs to be done now and what will need to be done down the road. If Brian and Steve say it NEEDS to be done it does. If they say it can wait a bit it can. They will always do their best to steer you in the right direction and never try to pressure you into un-needed work!Service: General repairs & maintenance
