Had the tensioner go on our car this morning. This was the only place open had us fixed in about a hour or so. Very professional and reasonable. Thanks again for saving our mini vacay!

Yes we went in a budget I have the best vacation ever in my life with my family we went to a lot of places the people are very nice and very friendly. He was very pleasant!!!!

In 44 years I ve never had an issue with my vehicle s while visiting Ocean City, Maryland. Needless to say I had an issue and my alternator went out on us while on vacation. We had less than 24 hours till we had to check out and this shop was outstanding with help. I explained my situation with check out time and they hit a grand slam for me and my family. The price was fair and work was beyond fast considering I pushed it in the lot at closing time. They were professional and honest!! Highly recommend them for your automotive needs in OC!!Service: Auto battery replacement

I came to Ocean City by myself on a budget. My car had some issues on the way there. I was anxious to find out what it was. The owner was very kind and friendly. He had my car fixed the next day. He was very honest and the repairs were cheaper than I expected:). Thank you!

Couldn t start my vehicle and brought it to OC Affordable after I got a jump start. They took me in right away and checked my charging system and discovered I needed a new one. They had the exact battery for my 2018 Suburban and had me on my way in 30 minutes! Cost was extremely reasonable! They made my stay in OC that much more pleasurable!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Awesome service. Had a flat front tire and they immediately diagnosed the issue fixed and had me on my way in no time. Price was reasonable and the peace of mind for the ride home from vacation priceless. They even have a sub shop on site that cooks a great breakfast too, while you wait.

Daughter was in town her brakes were making noise she thought front but was actually rear and rotors which is what I thought when I saw them that morning. Called when they opened, dropped it off, responded with estimate even let me leave it overnight as parking on the street in old school OC is a lucky shot. I would recommend them any day. When you remember it as the last gas station before the bridge and the Trailways bus station is now a 7-11 I ve been around a while. Definitely a 5 out of 5

My front tire abruptly started leaking air rapidly. As I retrieved the donut and jack I called my wife to get her to find a replacement ASAP. Before I finished we called OC affordable and they said they were equipped and ready to take care of it in 10 minutes. As I pulled in I was greeted as the boys pointed to the work area. I hopped out and began reorganizing the trunk and they got straight to work. The finished product was perfect, and I was elated to learn about the excellent price. The man with the tattoo of a flag on his arm is a guru and I was happy to show appreciation after he explained everything to me.Service: Tires

I did not go to this place because when I called them to ask how much they charged to plug a tire, they quoted me $35! I made the mistake of telling them I was from out of town (I was hoping they could come to me since my tire was flat). I felt taken advantage of. Therefore, I recommend Ocean Area Tire in Berlin, as they were very kind and helpful.

Super thankful for the staff and owner of this shop! We were visiting from out of town for our two daughters birthday, when the alternator in our van went out and drained our battery on a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully they were still open, and was able to get us in! New alternator was installed by noon on Sunday and we were back on the way home shortly after! A very stressful situation was not so bad knowing they were open and able to work so fast and efficient :)Service: Auto maintenance

We took a nail in our tire during our drive down to OC. I called OC AAR telling them the situation and asked if they could fit me in on a Saturday. Mind you it is Memorial Day weekend and I was expecting an hour or two. He said bring it down and had it plugged and ready in 5 minutes! Extremely friendly folks who genuinely seem to care about their customers. Highly recommended.Service: Tires

I can t say anything but great things about this place. While on vacation I ended up breaking a tie rod on my truck. I got it towed there and was given an extremely reasonable price for the job. These guys definitely don t take advantage of tourists that are at their mercy. I had my truck back in less than 48 hours and I was back on the road again!!!

I can't say enough kind things about the service I got here. My tire light warning had been going on and off for a couple days. Filling tires didn't do the trick so I knew something was wrong. I was extremely stressed trying to figure out how we would find a trustworthy auto shop, that could get me in at a reasonable time, at a price I could afford. This place was it. Donnie was amazing. Even after I had to go back a second time because I had asked him to examine the wrong tire. They were kind, thorough, and quick. And the price was outstanding. So glad I found them and that they were able to resolve the issue. I am leaving OC with a fully functioning tire and a souvenir.

Bummed I got a flat tire on family vacation. I rolled up and the technician found the nail, sealed the tire, inflated and in 10 minutes I was back up and rolling. Fantastic service, affordable, highly recommended.

Arrived in Ocean City with a screw in my tire. Thankfully, this shop was open on Sunday. I was there soon after they opened and they dropped everything to repair my tire. Grateful for their excellent customer service.

We were supposed to be called with a quote prior to any services rendered. Needless to say, that did not happen. For front end brakes ONLY (and rotors apparently because they "don't do brakes without new rotors" )....$436. When we told the guy whom identified as the "owner" our issue, he was like "we can put your old parts back on." .... it is VERY telling when you put a disclaimer on your receipt stating you'll charge $68/day for any refusals to pay. This is CLEARLY not their first time.I do not recommend at all.

My little Scion IQ got a nail stuck in the tread a couple of days ago, so after I called around, I found that OC Affordable was open in our off-season. The entire staff on -hand was so nice and professional. Got my tire plugged and they even offered a locals discount, which was so helpful this time of year! Oh, and they're the ONLY auto shop in OC. Before you read, please take note I live 10 hours away from this destination. I m from out of town, here on vacation. I am getting ready to leave and I see that my tire is dangerously low. I find a gas station with an auto shop attached to it and decide to drive into the parking lot. Before I even pulled into the parking lot there were two political flags (blue lives matter and Trump 2024) that I personally think should not be allowed in business. As an African American, I did not feel comfortable and almost had to ask my white niece to go in and ask them for air. I called to get air in my tire, I mentioned that I was in their parking lot, they simply told me to go to any destination with an air pump. When he was speaking to me, it was clear the boy had an attitude problem. Horrible customer service, I don t care what any of these reviews say. Again, clearly I am from out of town. So, it would be helpful to know where any destination with an air pump is.Update: there is no confusion from me. You re an auto shop and customer service should be your top priority. I work with people and would never suggest they go somewhere else for a service that I deliver. You re inclusivity did not show that day. I could care less if you were in the middle of the thruway or were the only shop in OC. I needed help and could barely get to the other side of the bridge where Jiffy was able to help me. They were shocked by your businesses response. I called the resort where I stayed at who recommended you and advised that she not do that again as I wasted time. She was shocked.PS- my tire didn t just need air! A large piece of metal had punctured the tire.Service: Tires

When you can't do something yourself and need a professional... This place came through for me. It was really ideal, I imagined how much it might cost and it was exactly what I was hoping. I didn't even need to wait. The technician simply had me back up after I told him what I needed, then he did the fix and I was off in less than an hour.

I recently had an unexpected problem with my 1989 chevy suburban on a trip to Ocean City. My truck became completely disabled on Friday afternoon and I was feeling pretty panicked about how I was going to get my family and my kids' friends back home to Baltimore on Sunday. I found OC Affordable Auto Repair on google and called them at 5:08 PM on Friday - to my amazement, they answered the phone. I described my problem and his reply was "we can get you fixed tomorrow, drop it off with our night drop and we'll take care of it" My mood was actually lifted right away at his confidence that they would get it done. Sure enough, they called me at 10:30 the next morning with a diagnosis (new alternator needed) and estimate, said it would be ready early afternoon. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told my old belt was able to be reused, which took around $75 off of the bill. I was also able to pay a portion of the bill in cash, saving me a few more bucks. In all I found the people there to be friendly and appreciative of my business - and for me, I got my truck fixed for a reasonable price on a weekend in Ocean City with zero notice....I feel very satisfied with that. My son was in OC for the day and hit a curb and busted his tire. I did a search and found OC Affordable Auto. Great tire reviews so I called and spoke with Rhonda. She said to send him over and they would check for a matching tire. Less then two hours later he made his way there and they replaced his tire. He was so happy it didn t take all day and He could get back with his friends. I highly recommend. They really care and I truly appreciated it. Thank you.

Great shop, polite, andabove all they put the customer first. Affordable, repair everything good that you would expected when you're paying for a service? OCAAR is the shop, don't go to any other shop in this area except for a starter repair.

They take walk-ins and the service was fast. They helped remove a screw that I drove over during my trip. They charged a decent price and we re helpful.

Husband and I were on a quick lil vacation for a couple of days, ended up getting a complete flat tire, thankfully AT the hotel we were staying at. Google searched the closest tire shop, and it said you guys were 500 ft away. Talk about luck! lol We drive there, and the wonderful woman there legit took our spare tire off, patched our hole in our main tire and put it back on in less than 15 minutes!! The best part, she yelled at my husband to get out of her yellow box that was laid out on the ground. I was laughing so hard. Having another woman yell at him was priceless. I highly suggest this shop. She(I wish I got her name) was fast and extremely knowledgeable. I wish I could give ya'll 10 stars. Thank you again for helping us.Service: Tires

I do like the fact that they are open Sat and Sun but the service was bad. I had a tow truck towed my SUV it to the shop Sunday morning because my SUV stop and lost all power while driving I figured my alternator was bad. But the shop's computer was saying the battery was old/ bad so they replaced it with a new one. But the next day I had to stop at a different shop 30 miles away because my SUV was showing the same signs and warnings that my SUV was going to die on us again while driving. And they're computer show the alternator is the problem.So I spent $250 cash only and 4hrs for just a battery change and still had to stop at a different shop and waste more money and time to get the problem solved.
