Kenwood exceeded my expectations by far! I had an earlier very disappointing experience with a body shop, so my expectations were very low. I had a damaged left fender on my Toyota Corolla from a minor accident. Kenwood was recommended by a friend.I spoke with Mike who was very helpful. No problem with insurance, and the body shop works with Enterprise Car Rental just up the road, which made things pretty easy.I was told the repairs would take two weeks. Got calls every two days with updates. In fact, the car was ready in 11 days. And the repair job? Car looks almost new. Impossible to tell it was damaged. And the interior was clean.Cheers and thanks to Mike, to Carla at the front desk, and to the team that did such great work. I will definitely tell others about Kenwood. They deserve all the high marks they ve gotten!

Be careful with these people hidden fees I didn t read all the bad reviews but trust me alll of them are true my pay up 6,000 to get my car fixed also was my ac included they took over a month to do it they have all that time to check it and see if something they could do but nope they did tell they couldn t fixed even tho we pay for that to get fixed THESE ARE THIEFS!!! Never coming back here and hope people could read this review before coming here.

If there was a minus star to rate this place I ll put it trust me they charge a lot of money for bad work lack of communication and bad customer service I took my car here which was repair but ending with some many troubles if you re looking for a body shop don t waste your money here it seems that if hound come with insurance claim they don t do a good job worst place tbh.

Tucked back up in the cut of Alternate Route 1, McDonald Auto Body is a great find. The quality of the work, friendly service, detailed information and pricing and coordination directly with the insurance company was top notch. Plus they have the best in office signage, ever!

I had a 9:30 appointment on 5/13 to have an estimate done. My front bumper had came completely off the night before and I wanted to see how much it would cost to get it put back on. I arrived at 9:15 & filled out the paperwork. The guy didn t even look at my bumper, he looked only at the front for 30 seconds before informing me that I would need a whole new bumper & I should go through my insurance because that s the only way he would give me an estimate. It seemed to me like he was trying to get more money for a pretty simple fix. Later I went to Tommy s Auto Body in Suitland and they put my bumper back on within 3 hours for a very reasonable price. The picture below is from 5/13 from (TOMMYS BODY SHOP) at 1pm. Had the gentleman from McDonalds Auto looked at the bumper I had he would have known it was a simple fix however I guess they rather overcharge peoples insurance and get more bang for the buck. Very disappointing situation. Would not recommend.

Got involved in a car accident I was doing my research with my car repairs and I found this business. From beginning to end they ve met and went beyond my expectations. Brenedy and Carla Handled everything perfectly from detailing my car in the end to talking to the insurance adjuster and getting what was necessary to get my car in perfect shape. I absolutely recommend this business with any car repairs.

Ever since Kenwood took over this place, there has been a shift in energy...as in bad. The workers in the garage area are absolute idle-minded pigs. They stand around cackling like high school cheerleaders and cat call female pedestrians who they know are way out of their league at least once a week. (I have it on video.) If you don't like this review, then you need to reevaluate certain employees and / or watch the company you allow to hang around your business because they're a bad look. McDonald Auto Body, the previous owners, did not behave in this crass manner.

First time using this body shop. It's a new location for them but they have been doing business in the area for 30+ years. Great customer service. Neighbor put a grapefruit-size ding in the quarter panel over the driver's side front wheel of 2012 Cadillac. Kenwood made it look better than when we bought the car a couple years ago but still blends in with rest of the car. Can't comment on price since neighbor's insurance covered everything but would definitely use again.

This is the 3rd time I have used their service. Each time I have been extremely pleased. I picked up my car today. They repaired the front end damage and major rear end damage which include the under carriage. The damages were from being hit in the back and the force pushing me into the car in front of me. As soon as I picked up my car I took it to friends who do the same type of work on race cars they build and repair them. My friends put my car on a lift to get a good look at the under carriage. They said the work was very well done, they do really good work. I was very satisfied. I would recommend McDonald s Auto Body to anyone who needs to get body work done. Kenwood auto did an excellent job repairing my car after it took some serious damage when it hit a deer. Car was returned in excellent condition. All panels look correctly aligned. Very satisfied with the end result!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I went in to get an estimate or even get help with my 2007 Chrysler PT cruiser I had a leak from the sunroof and I wasn't sure what was wrong. so upon bringing it into the shop they told me they seen things like this all the time and it just probably was clogged. the line was clogged after careful review of the car that was the issue. ever since I have not had an issue with the car or leaking inside of the car due to the sunroof. my car is perfect and I'm so thankful I ran into this shop than any other shop. the price was reasonable it literally was only $40 to check and clear my line I was speechless. I literally gasp when he told me the price so I say to anyone if you're looking for people who are very knowledgeable and they care about the people and their cars, go to McDonald auto body. when you have things that need to be done to the car dealing with the body headlights even the line for the sunroof ,bumper, and little or big dents these people are family owned and they take pride in what they do they're not trying to price gouging. they are going to get the job done to specify level where you are going to be happy with the work and very satisfied I thank the whole team and Mr. John and his wife are the best.. l will be coming back to them

Their estimates are fast and reasonable, their work is to the highest standard, and their customer service is unmatched! I had a great experience with this Shop last month. There was some initial confusion with my insurance, but they worked hard to make sure everything was taken care of so that I could have as much of a stress-free experience as possible. The work done to my car was Exceptional and I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs body work done on their car. If I ever need work done again, I will be sure to come back!

Second time using McDonald Auto body shop. The first time for a previous accident on a Kia Rio. This time on a Honda Pilot. From the first job I realized that their services were excellent and standards were high. Like the first job, I felt extremely satisfied with the work they produced in fixing my car. They wash and clean your car on the interior and exterior which adds to their already great service. I will definitely continue to ask for their service if they time came again.Thanks John for your professionalism and punctuality for each and every job.

Loved my experience with this shop i was referred by a friend ...I got into an accident and messed up the back of my pathfinder and they took their time and even gave me gift cards for using them. I would recommend to anyone they know what they are doing and they keep you updated. They have great staff very friendly! Thanks again for fixing my car like new!!

Great service! They started working on my car promptly. Always answers my calls to update repair progress. After their work, the damage was 100% not observable. They also checked the fluids and cleaned the car inside and out!side The manager, John Brady, is very professional.

I found this place with a simple google search and it ended up being a lifesaver!!!! I went there to get my side mirror fixed and the owner John was great! I came for a FREE estimate first and then he gave me my options for pricing. I decided to get my own part but he had no problem having his guys put it on for me. They did a great job and I was out in under 30min! Not to mention he gave me an amazing deal on the price!!! Definitely recommend them and will be returning if I need any future repairs!

Even with the trauma of the previous day's accident, I still was able to notice that these guys have great customer service. Maybe because I was being expected, I didn't spend up to 7 minutes at the shop. While one of the staff was on the phone, attempting unsuccessfully to speak to someone at the car rental company on my behalf, another staff who introduced herself as Dorothy emerged from the inner office to give me a ride to the car rental office. The whole process was seamless. It was a great experience. They also did a great job on my Sienna. I would recommend these guys any day.

Great shop - they kept us updated on the repairs, and went above and beyond by repairing additional damage from an older accident. Repairs look great. Also got a nice customized note in the mail thanking me for choosing them. Customer service is apparently not a lost art. I'm hoping not to need body work again, but if I do, I would gladly be a repeat customer.

Everyone at McDonald Auto Body was extremely professional and did a phenomenal job. They were prompt, efficient, and communicated with me every step of the way, making sure that I understood the repair process and that all of my questions were answered. John Brady is the total professional! Unlike the sniveling crybabies at Toyota dealer in Landover who want me to leave and come back days later I was able to get in and out on the same day and get the bumper replaced on my Chevy truck. He ordered the part call me when it came in I drop the truck off and picked it up the same day. I would highly recommend them for anybody work, and will go back there always! These are pretty good folks that do nice work. I was rear-ended by a school bus, and could have probably ended up with a totaled car, which would have really stunk since it was in good shape before the accident. They worked with me to find some good used parts that kept the repair cost below the total loss threshold, and I'll always be thankful for that.
