Ive had a great experience with A Amigo for almost a decade now. The repairs are done properly. All my work is done quickly. The prices are very fair. Im always treated kindly and with respect. I would recommend anyone to go get repair work done or a vehicle inspection.

Absolutely amazing! I came here for a vehicle safety inspection. I failed for a couple of things but he was able to squeeze me in to have them fixed so that I could get my car registered. They are very friendly and the price isn t ridiculous. I would highly recommend if you re in the area and need your vehicle maintained, give them a call.

Went in for an auto inspection. Didn't pass, asked me to fix some items. Fixed items, came back for re-inspection and passed. Fair practice.

I was having issues with a recent car purchase, so I took my car to this place. At first I thought I was dealing with some honest people. They are very knowledgeable mechanics, but they are not honest about their pricing and don't listen. I would call on the phone about a service that was needed and One guy would give me a good honest price. When I arrived the guy named Will would always give me a higher totally different price. I asked him to diagnose my vehicle and said not to do any work. I made that very clear. He said, okay pay when you return. I said, no I'll pay for the diagnostic now, but he insisted I pay upon my return. When I returned to get the results from the diagnostic, Will hands me a $250 dollar bill. I respond, why am I being charged for extra services when you were only suppose to do a $50 diagnostic. He says to me, Oh I didn't hear you say that. I said, I'm not paying that because I told you not to do any work, just the diagnostic. Long story short, I paid $200 when I was supposed to only pay $50. I will not recommend this place or ever return for their services. You lost what could've been a loyal customer.

I got my state inspection done here and i want to warn every person who plans to go there that they don t care about how many bad reviews they get, inspector William can tell you himself. He told me to replace a couple things and I gave him no issues doing so. Came back next week and he told me the alignment was off when I came from getting the wheel aligned same day, he made me go back to firestone and requested they do it again and they were looking at me like I m the crazy one. Using the same alignment I promise you the wheel is straight and doesn t move, yet he was so stern on telling me otherwise. During our argument I mentioned how their reviews are saying similar things and William the inspector says he doesn t care about google reviews and why would I come to a place with bad reviews. His manager was next to him and gave him a look, I m assuming this is the only reason he passed me that day.

This place it no good at all.As of today had to get the MD State TroopersEvolve.They failed my truck 2 days ago for 2 things INew was good.Remind you I am a auto mechanic.Trooper re inspect and pass me.My wife paid 4 the inspection.So I guess they was thinking its her truckAnd i no nothing.Lady's and all do not go here.I GESS THEY MAKING USE A STAR?BUT NEGATIVE 100 STAR

They are cheap with state inspections BUT they will find 4-5 things that are wrong with it. I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler that needed an inspection. Took it there they failed me for ball joints, control arms and a couple other components. At first I believed it and they told me they could fix t for cheap because I already did an inspection. I told them to wait and I will bring the car back. i took it to another respectable mechanic shop and they told me only one of the ball joints would need replace nothing else. Unfortunately they could not do another state inspection because that would be going against the other shops inspection. All together I had to take it back and got the work done. They are scamming people for extra parts that they probably never even replaced. My Yellow Jeep Wrangler and I will never step foot at that shop again

Orlando was incredibly helpful and Very accommodating! Willing and able to take care of me on the same day of my call! I was referred by another mechanic nearby who did not do MD State Inspections. This place does Maryland State Inspecitions at a Great Price and without the need for an appointment ahead of time!

I called a day ahead to verify they do inspections on Saturday. I get to the shop for them to tell me they won't inspect the vehicle has been inspected by someone else previously. Um, I'm a new potential customer. Of course my vehicle has been inspected by someone else . Why wouldn't you want business?

I went there for Maryland inspection on a vehicle I bought from Virginia 2 days prior that had a valid Virginia inspection. A amigo charged me $90 for inspection & told me that I needed rf & lf ball joints & a alignment.I asked them how did it pass Virginia state inspection just 3 days prior if I needed all that. They proceeded to tell me that Virginia state inspection & Maryland state inspection is different but from research Virginia is more rigorous. A amigo told me that it would cost $800 to fix my vehicle if the dealer paid for it or they would give me a 10% discount if I paid for it & they would reinspect it for from. I went & got a second opinion somewhere else & my vehicle passed with no issues. I m glad I got a second opinion. A amigo is a bunch of crooks if u ask me. Always get a second opinion if your going to get a vehicle fixed at A Amigo

I went to have a diagnostic ran on my engine because it stopped working. He said he would charge me $90 for the diagnostic. I had to keep calling him during the 2 days he had my car because he stated that I needed to change the engine entirely when I knew there was no way that was the issue. I asked him to check again and he said there was no other way to fix the car. He was charging me $4700. After he didn t even try to properly diagnose it, he charged me $250 when he said he would only charge $90. He is a scammer. After I took the car to another auto shop the mechanic said that it was a misfire in two of the 6 cylinders and fixed it for 700 dollars.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

The company tried to scam repair work from me when I asked for a routine plate inspection. After keeping the vehicle a day, they scribbled a list on a paper, which was not even close to legible. One individual met with me and up with numbers in the thousands, while still claiming that they can't see everything needed until they "get in to it" further.Luckily I know vehicles well and asked questions to uncover the b.s. Don't trust these crooks. They still charged over 100 for the fake assessment. The vehicle had no problem passing at a credible inspection station, at a fraction of their cost.

Orlando is courteous, knowledgeable and thorough in his diagnostics and explanations. He takes the time to answer questions and consider all of the variables. His pricing is fair and he has never tried to sell me services or parts I don't need. He is very responsive; fitting me in on short notice -- once on a holiday weekend, even.Glad to have found a reliable mechanic in the neighborhood, and to support a local small business.

These guys are extremely nice and fair priced. They communicated with me every step of the way so I knew exactly what I d be paying for. Definitely a good place to go if you want a more mom and pop shop that gets the job done right.

This is the WORST most UNPROFESSIONAL scheming repair shop in Maryland. This guy allegedly fixed my car. Just after it was "fixed", he told me the noise I heard would go away with some driving. That never happened, in fact the noise got worse over time. When the car was brought back to him he refused to accept acknowledge the causal relationship between his "fix" and the "new" issue with the car. If you want a professional job, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, take your car to this place!

The worst auto repair place in the DMV area. Orlando is not honest and sold me tires in the worst condition that broke after I left their facility. Did not want to replace them and wanted to charge me again, he claimed that there is no guarantee in used tires, those tires that he forced me to buy them to pass the inspection were sold to me by him , my previous tires were fine. He is not a reliable person or mechanic . He definitely only cares about selling , but sold me a tire with a hole and the other ones in terrible condition and thought because i am a woman I don t know and sold me the worse tires. Do not go there! No vayan ah�, ese se�or Orlando no es honesto y solo quiere vender, me vendi� llantas en mal estado y luego quiere cobrarte de nuevo porque dice que no hay garant�a.

DONOT Go There! This is by far the worst place to get any auto service. The owner was so disrespectful and rude. He curse me out saying he doesnt like people from my country. After spending all morning at the DMV I found I needed inspection done, I looked up a inspection station and found this one was closer to Largo-DMV my car passed inspection thanks God. This shop is 100% honest, all customers were welcomed and I got my inspection done fast which allowed me to go back to the DMV!! Time is money!

Guys BEWARE! Very bad service. They stole my car parts. They will ask you to go to the office and sit there so they can easily steal your car parts. I told them i want to stay with my car the guy said we don't allow anyone in our workshop. I don't remember the guy's name and I don't want to remember his name. They suck! The Amigo Auto Repair shop are thieves!

They seemed honest, but the place look more like a junk yard than a Auto Repair. The waiting room is filled with (stuff) not pleasing to the eye at all. Almost no parking , because of all the old junked cars ALL OVER

The staff were very helpful and friendly! They gave me an estimated time for my state inspection and it was on the dot! Highly recommend this place! Recommend going earlier in the day for great timing!

I never ever recommend this place I make an appointment to do inspection my var and the person who is doing inspection is not there .I west my time and gas I drive for 1 hours its un acceptable.
