We have been going to lucky s for years. The service has always been great and we have never had any issues afterwards. It your local mom and pop shop with 3 bays. They fast and prices are good. If you have the parts yourself they will put them on also unlike those larger auto repair places

Was supposed to fix alternator and beltThey didn t call me to pick up my car at the pickup time that same day so I dropped in the next day to find out they broke my radiator so they was trying to repair it but I got there before the glue dried smh livid now this happened on the day after Mother s Day which is in may. They claimed they didn t once I showed them they did due to the wet glue the owner says he will repair it is now June 11th and I m still riding around with no air !!!!! I WLD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR NOTHING.this shows me they break things to get u to come to them to fix it or they breaks things as fixing your first issue!!! Save yourself the pain go somewhere else!!!

Do Not Bring Your Vehicle To This Shop...In The Past They Have Completed Some Simple Tasks Without Any Issues So I Allowed Them To Complete Another Simple Task...Changin' Some Spark Plugs And Wires...The Vehicle Was Not Ready When They Told Me To Pick It Up...He Finally Brought The Vehicle Out After Waiting For About Another Hour....The Vehicle Cut Off Before Pulling Off Their Property...I Then Told Lucky That He Needs To Rectify This issue. Two Days Later He Calls Me To Inform Me That He Cracked One Of The Spark Plugs Attempting To Remove It. I informed Him That He Is Respinsible For Repairing What He Damaged. He Disagreed And Refused To Rectify The Situation. His Communication Is Terrible...I Am In The Process Now Of Gettin' It Fixed And Will Take Him To Court To Be Reimbursed. I Am Stickin' With My Regular Mechanic From Now On Even On Simple Tasks. Again, It Is A Gamble To Take Your Vehicle To Lucky's Even For The Simplest Tasks....He Gets No Stars But This App Would Not Let Me Post This Review So That Is Why My Review Has One Star....Stay Away From This Shop...

UNLUCKY Auto Repair sold my boyfriend a used tired that had a hole in it! The tire went flat the same day he got it. He took it back the next day and they told him "somebody" poked a hole in his tire and refused to replace it. Don't come here!!!!

My son's vehicle broke down on 95 and the tow driver recommended he gets his car towed to Lucky Auto repair. They took care of his vehicle promptly at a fair price and it was done the same day. This just occurred a few days ago so we will see if the job was done right and all is ok. So far so good. His fuel pump was replaced.

Friendly service and fast. Called to get price for wheel alignment, dropped car off and in no time was called to pick it up. Price was exactly what I was quoted! I was a customer of this shop for many years. I occasionally had repair issues, which were fixed, and the prices were always reasonable. For that reason, I was always a happy customer and spent upwards of $20K on maintenance and repairs for 4 different cars. But based on my multiple interactions with them in 2023, I would strongly recommend they be avoided.In 2023, I paid lucky to replace a bad alternator. Immediately after the replacement, my car became dangerous to drive. It would shut off in the middle of the highway, fuzes would blow, and lights would flick off. I made three visits in a row to lucky to fix the issue. In every visit, they told me they fixed the issue, I would drive away, and then the car would shutoff again. Finally, on my fourth trip to the shop, they admitted that they had installed a bad alternator and replaced it.Immediately after this, my AC compressor broke. I went to a different mechanic, who told me that it an alternator and belt was installed incorrectly, breaking the AC compressor.Lucky said he wouldn't reimburse me the cost of the AC compressor.

This place is horrible. The previous reviews are either fabricated or written by the mechanics themselves. I told the mechanic that I heard noises when I would back up my car. I even showed them the video I recorded of the noise that I heard while in reverse. The mechanic initially claimed that he didn't hear it, then he said it probably was coming from the back brakes. Never offered to look at the brakes at all. Then they told me that it was Sunday, so I should pay for my oil change in cash. I'm like what the hell? First and last time I will ever go to them. You've been warned.Service: Oil change

Service was very fast. Went in for an oil change and tire repair. Was in and out in about 45 minutes. And all without an appointment. Very happy with the service.

This place is awful. Charged me 250 dollars to put in a water pump that I bought that day from Advance and the very next morning, after driving three miles home the evening before, I had water gushing from the bottom of the water pump and the radiator was empty, as well as the coolant reserve. I called him the next morning to tell him what was happening and that I need to have it looked at immediately. I was able to bring it in that morning. When I got there, nobody seemed interested in speaking with me at all and when I finally starting getting loud about the situation, he had another mechanic look at it, who maybe glanced at the engine for three seconds and said it was everything but the water pump that they installed. He said my block was probably cracked and the timing chain cover was where the water was coming from, even though there was no problem with any of those components the evening before when they installed the pump. He also blames Advance for selling me a faulty pump and that he would not be able to work on it because there was no warranty. I asked why he could install the pump to begin with, but then not fix the problem. He then tightened the bolts to the water pump with an air rachet and not a torque wrench and then sent me on my way after saying I was not able to get my money back and th pump still gushing water. I then drove out of the parking lot and it proceeded to overheat and smoke from the engine. I have a feeling he made it even worse after he tightened the bolts. I believe they knew they had made a mistake, and that's why they tried to not even look at it to begin with and were so rude and making every excuse they could to avoid responsibility. Do not trust your vehicles with these people.

I've been going to Luckie's for my oil changes for years. This is the only place aside from the dealer I trust with my car. He gets me in and out no appointment necessary. Even for simple things such as a brake light or air for my tires he takes care of without hesitation. This will always be my go to for my basic maintenance needs.

Absolutely one of the best mechanics that I have been to in this area. Prices are extremely reasonable and they get the work done fast. Where most other mechanics take their time to bill you for extra hours, Lucky and his team do everything as fast as possible to get you the best price. After some major mechanical issues they got my car back to me within 24 hours and for hundreds of dollars less than other mechanics would charge. Quality service at a great price, no doubt.

I have Mercedes GLE 350 there was a noise coming from the engine one of my friends refer me to go and check with DEE he is a very good guy ,polite and experienced ,he took the test drive and tell me the exact problem and get that fixed in an hour with very reasonable labor ..I recommend everyone to go one time and check LUCKY AUTO REPAIR ,and meet the owner DEE ..

The Stuff we re good but OMG and oil change literally took 18hrs! I came in at 4:30pm and they told me is going to be 45 mins. I said okay , so I went shopping for an hr and they still haven t started on my vehicle. 30mins pass by and still Nothing. Eventually I assume it was going to be 20 more mins so I decided to get food. While I was coming I decided to call them to see if my car was ready and they told me that they broke my oil filter and that they have been trying to find a new one, but haven t bc my vehicle is new I told them I was going to try to find one, when I get on the place again with the filter it didn t fit my car eventually he told me to wait until tomorrow around 9am and my car would be ready ! I explain him about me working at 7am and they had the audacity to say you can take the day off . This was just to much for an OIL CHANGE !I come in this morning around 9:15am and my car was still not ready. The dude said 10 or 15 more mins! At this point I was MAD this is unacceptable I know things happen but they could of let me know the whole time I was waiting! My Dad recommended me this Place but from my experience is a NO GO ! Everything looks unorganized and the front desk dude is always on the phone not even helping customers. I had an emergency to change my oil but If you have a 2020 OR NEWER VEHICLE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE !!!Service: Oil change

I've had mechanics work on my cars all over MD, VA, PA, AZ, TX, etc., and Lucky is by far the finest mechanic bar none. Extremely friendly staff, very informative, they escort you you to your vehicle to point out if there is a problem and offer you choices of plans. Since I moved to Baltimore, I've taken my 2012 Mazda CX-9 and '07 Odyssey van; each time received top-notch service. The waiting room is quite spartan and noisy and there is a small TV to kill time while waiting. In the winter, the waiting room can get quite cold with the one door constantly opening and closing . Summer? Yup, hot and stuffy. Better leave your vehicle and come back when it's finished. f you are ISO comfort, try a car dealer and try those whopping repair prices! Otherwise, Lucky's is the place to go for exceptional auto service.PS. It opens on Sundays and has state inspection.Update: Lucky's has grown immensely since I posted this. The parking can fill up fast. Go early or you may have a long wait.

I took my car to this shop two years ago and was told by Lucky, the Owner, that my transmission was going to fail within the next 6 months. Here it is, two years later, and my car is still running. I took it to Mazda to look at it and they said all the transmission needed was to be reprogrammed. This man is no mechanic. He's a fraud, a con artist, a scammer, and a liar. DO NOT GO HERE! SAVE YOUR TIME, YOUR CAR, AND YOUR MONEY!

Folks, this is the first time I am writing a review for a business. I normally don't have time to do that. My experience at Lucky's was so terrible that I decided to give them a review. I wish I could give them zero stars. I really hope this place goes out of business soon.Our car broke on a highway not too far from Lucky's. We had it towed over there as this was the first place that came up on my search. We were told by Dee and his father that we need to leave the car as they don't have time to check the car today. Dee told us that an inspection would cost us $88. My brother and I made it clear to him that if there were any additional costs, we wanted them to call us first to let us know before they start working on the car. The next day, my brother gets a call from Johnny, who says the car has been fixed and we owe the shop $438. Needless to say, we were astonished. Not only did they not call us to let us know there would be additional $350 charge, but also they couldn't even properly explain what exactly they did on the car. When we came to the shop and explained Lucky, the owner, that we never got a call and that they were in violation of the uniform commercial code, he said that he doesn't care about any laws and that we either pay the bill or get out of his office. He even threatened us that if we leave without paying the bill, he would call the police and report robbery of our own car. After an hour or so argument with Lucky, we paid the bill just so we could take the car. But, we are in process of suing this guy and his shop. It is not just a matter of money, but also of principal. I value my time and if I am writing such a long review and in process of suing him, you can tell how horrendous my experience was with his repair shop. If my review saves even one person from dealing with Lucky, I will consider my time well spent. I really hope that no one will have to deal with what we did.Also, I would take the 5-star reviews with a grain of salt.

They broke my flipping truck. Even after they were told how to drive it.They don't care about you only making money. No more from me. White Ford Ranger. To bad they don't have anything less then 1 star.

I would recommend this place to anyone! They were prompt, honest, and very competent. I have never had such good car service than this place. I am not from the baltimore area, but my car started to break down as I passed through the community. They definitely could have utilized the situation to their advantage. But they took such good care of me. If it wasn t for Lucky s Auto Repair, I don t know what I would ve done!

I once had a repair done by lucky and walked away with my car worse then when I went in and I gave them a bad review. However I couldn't have been more wrong . That car was so messed up no one could have fixed it. I have had other repairs done here since then and I believe them to be one of the honest and best auto repair shops in the Baltimore .I would and do recommend all my family and friends to use lucky for all auto repairServices: Electrical repair, Engine repair

Took my vehicle here for a simple state inspection. It had just been inspected a few months prior to an auto accident. Insurance company gave me a salvage title and made me reinspect. This place came up with all kinds of lies. Made up false issues with my vehicle. Such as I was leaking power steering fluid. Which I never was. My brakes were good when I brought car there. Two days later I had no pads and it was metal on metal. He said he could fix it for 800-1000$. Kiss my bumper. The biggest cons out here. Don't ever go to this rip off repair shop
