I been a customer ever since I could drive. But ever since Charlie retired in the Hagerstown office, it has gone down hill. I brought 6 tires to be fixed on Wednesday last week just got them today. Only fixed 5. Tried to charge me for 8. Messed the 6th tire rim all up had to replace it. Like I get being busy or things happening. But no call no nothing till I seen the tire and rim. I m not one to complain but seems like someone has no clue what s going on. They told me tires be ready Thursday I go in Friday and they weren t even touched.

We were traveling from Rhode Island to Florida and had a flat tire on the interstate ,While I changed the tire, my wife called around and got a hold of Rice tire. They were 5 miles away.When we got there, they pulled us right in even though the tread looked all right on the other two tires I had them replace all three. The mechanics were professional, and did a through inspection of the trailer.We were there for a total of 45 minutes and back on the road to our vacation.I would recommend tire to anyone I give them a 10 out of 10

Very pleased with Rice tire. From 1st phone call which was answered by a Real person, thank you. Helpful suggestions and information on which tire was best for my vehicle. During installation a different tire was put on my car instead of what was ordered, I wasn't the one who noticed. Rice tire called me to let me know of the mistake and asked me to come back so they could correct the mistake with an added thank you of an alignment for my trouble. THAT is customer service and was and is appreciated. I have recommended them,(Rice tire) to others and we have 3 other vehicles we will be getting tires for in near future. Hagerstown has a history, and some of that old history is still alive and well at this location...Therfore I will never do business at that location again...I'd rather drive farther away into PA or VA to a commercial tire shop who actually appreciates my business...

Had a appointment at 730am for a alignment was told it be about an hour and they would call when ready. Called them at 10am and was told they had to incomplete the service because there Mechanic went home do to being sick.. I understand stuff happening but need to do better in communication. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time in 2 months I had problems with there communication

Thank you Rice tire for helping me out replacing my two front tires. I am a OTR truck driver for FedEx who had to leave and got a flat on my way home and so I drove back up on a spare and had to leave soon after I got up to Hagerstown. I dropped it off and they took care of the rest. I appreciated being able to come back after being on road all week and being able to drive my 4 hours home safely with the great tires they recommended and installed! Thank you so much.I just had before photo. If I can I ll add the after. But they are great looking,handling, and feeling tires.

Shoutout to Melvin, the off-road and night-time tire tech! Just finished a repair on my trailer. Second time he s worked on my equipment in the last month. Very fast response times and very fast service on site. It s good to know I m in good hands when I m within the Hagerstown service area!

I told em I needed 14 ply tires. They put a 12 ply on and when I asked if they would do $180 on a gladiator tire st235/80r16 because they cost me 30 min they said they couldn't do it. So now I'm late for my drop and cost me a late fee.

Rice tire charged me 181.00 to install 4 tires that I had brought myself. They also quoted me over 420.00 to have one front rotor and front brake pads installed. This is 86.00 in parts at Napa and the store manager wanted to charge me 125.00 for the rotor alone. This is all with an "apparent" veteran discount. I Definitely won't be back and I wouldn't advise anyone else to do business here either. Semper Fi to the store manager. Thanks for looking out brother!!!!

I had a great experience at Rice Tire in Hagerstown, MD. I went there for a suspension issue on my semi, the mechanic named Ed was very helpful and courteous to help us . He went the extra mile to help us. In addition, when they give you a time, they are always on time. I would definitely recommend any truck driver to go there! Two thumbs up!

I was traveling for work and absolutely in a jam as I had a three hour drive home and one very leaky tire. After Tires Plus in Hagerstown changed the wrong tire on me, I called Rice Tires at 730 to have 3 tires replaced. They did not have my tires in stock but ordered them to have them delivered between 1 and 3. They came as they said and were put on my car. Charlie and RJ were absolutely fantastic with the entire experience, even though their shop staff was very short staffed. I would absolutely recommend Rice Tires and am very appreciative for them helping me out in a jam and making sure I was able to get back home safely.

They are always good, I was a mechanic myself and always go there.Even the bathroom is very clean.And they do use torque sticks on the lug nuts so you don't have a wheel removal nightmare along the road, I watched.I highly recomend them and the load force balance too and they are all nice people too.

If I could give a 0 star I would. I called these people yesterday to order a tire and they quoted me a price and then said it would be ready the next day (today) my fianc� called and and they said they never talked to us or even ordered the tire and then tried to charge us even more than the quoted price. Obviously don t have competent staff.

JR fixed me right up. New upper and lower ball joints, front end alignment and 6� 22.5 traction tires. Great place!New problem! Needed tires for my motorcycle trailer. Again JR fixed me up. 4 new tires in a matter of 3 hours The next day, which is good for 15 inch wheels. Look awesome. Rice tire will always get my business place for all my tire needs.

This guys helped us. Driver came with one bolt on Turbo, nearly staying. They tight it with some bolts so the driver could get home. Thanks guys

My husband stopped in yesterday with a coolant leak that he had been bounced around from shop to shop nobody had any time. Rice got him in right away. Did great work and there is no way any other shop could have done it at a better price! We have multiple big trucks and PKB CARRIERS will definitely be back!

Darrell was just great!! My husband and I were in Maryland on business from West Virginia. He was able to repair our tire quickly, and we were on our way. It is so nice to find such HONEST customer friendly folks nowadays!!

I would highly recommend Rice Tire . We had a flat tire on our trailer on the interstate and they were able to help get us back on the road. They were very professional and friendly. If I was local to them I would be a regular customer. A plus business.

Good guys! Great work on my company truck wanna get them to do my family vehicle also! My father and i run a successful auto repair shop but for alignment or tire work I trust these mechanics with my 80k lbs rig abd my family ride with my children

Plz be aware of this place and take my story . I brought my car hauler trailer at 8am morning friday to have mechanic look at suspension and when problem found fix and change two tires . . Called 11am to check and being told axles need to be adjusted because manufacturing issue and come by end of today and we get u sorted away. I came 4pm and mechanic told me they just looked at it and leafspring is broken and need to change and now im putting two tires in!!!! When spoke to management and being very nice to all 3 of them they said u wanna pay for tire or put old one back on because we gotta leave !!!! I told them to put old tires backup and good luck to me if tire blew out but i have to drop Monday and pickup same day loads and i explained that when i got 8am in morning. I hope management understand their customer more than money and profit and employees there are good guys but management partner inside dont have a good communication.you can go to resley tire which is about 5 miles away, great ppl there.
