This is in reference to their QuickLane staff. It was mostly positive though the actual work needs work. So let me start by stating the customer service is phenomenal in fact this rating would be 3 stars for the work done but I have to hand it to Quick Lane. They do employ some great people there.I don't know if it was a misunderstanding or a miscommunication but they didn't fill my brake fluid at all. Who ever was doing the work on my vehicle did miss an item during the inspection process but given I was having their optional recommended work done to the vehicle they caught it and were nice to fix that free of charge. But the thing that really makes me overlook the inexperienced mechanic is just all the other workers providing the best customer service as possible. I saw an old man come in with concerns about his battery, the man at the desk had someone check his battery and gave him insights that the battery was good but the man just needs to run his vehicle longer and didn't charge him at all for this service. But what makes it phenomenal is the man at the front desk listened to this old man about some complaints with the technology side of things. The man at the front desk let the mechanic know to not pull the vehicle out and that he would do it once he takes care of a few more things for the customer. He went out there and adjusted the settings that bothered this old man again at no cost.Huge respect to the staff there, doing the right thing when they believe no one is looking. I will continue to come here for service, but I may repeat myself about the work being done and seek double if not triple confirmation.

Quick Lane destroyed my 26,000 mile engine with a routine oil change, and 3 different people lied to me after the fact when I brought up that something was very wrong. I knew they did not fill the oil from the dipstick being dry, smoking oil tube, low oil light, and absolute racket my car was making just from pulling out of the lot. Yet they denied it and shoved my car back into the garage for SOME kind of mystery repair, the receptionist being sure I stayed in the lobby. They made up an excuse that the VCT solenoid was acting up due to being dirty, and sent me on my way. Few days (100 miles) later my car is misfiring. I pull an oil sample and it is disgusting. So I call them back because what the hell did they do if it wasn't no oil. Still getting the run-around so I have the REAL mechanics at Ford take a look, lo and behold yep engine's toast. Oil's black, metal shards all over the place, they really gave me "the works". Quick Lane never did put oil back in after the initial change, and the mystery fix in the garage was, you guessed it, filling it back up with oil. FML. Also they broke my hubcap during the tire rotation and stripped some screws and didn't let me know. At least Ford is being champions through all this. Never ever ever ever EVER go to Quick Lane.Service: Tires

The individuals who interact with the customers are great. They are courteous, honorable, and honest. The "mechanics" who work on your car are BAD.I brought in my car for new rims to be put on. They scratched one of my brand new rims deep, about 7 inches long on the edge. They also torqued the lugs WAY over spec (double!) to around 200 lb/ft!The customer service individuals were great and took responsibility for the issues and fixed them free of charge.2 bent rims (darn potholes) initiated this whole ordeal, and to send 1 off to a company to check if it was even fixable (it wasn't) took from Monday at 7am to Thursday evening. (I blame the 3rd party company they use for this.) They then were able to get all 4 tires mounted on new rims on Friday. (scratched 1 wheel and over tightened lugs) I had them fix my rim scratch (another 3rd party company) in about 8 hours on the following Thursday. In all, I was w/o a car for about 5 total days, and made about 6 trips to the shop in that time.TLDR: customer service guys are good, mechanics need work

"The Works" package has almost doubled in price due to the cost of a quart of synthetic blend jumping from $4.10/quart to $13.73/quart. Called back today, 1/3/23, to double-check that increase was correct and was told that yes, in fact it was. Last service I was out the door for $84.79. This time, it was $148.76! Yikes!!! I will say that service has always been outstanding.Services: Tires, Oil change

Although I have never been overly thrilled with my service at Quick Lane I have continued to go there since I purchased my new vehicle in 2017. I also purchased a utility work van for my business 6 months ago from Hagerstown Ford. Due to the last 2 visits at Quick Lane I will only be returning one more time to get my first free oil change for my work van. Six months ago I was told at the time of my oil changed that I needed new tires and brakes and was given a print out of the tire options available. Earlier this month I had another oil change and was told everything looked great. When I ask why I was told something different last time I was there the reception person (who I think was a manager) left and said he would check it out. He then comes back and says the tires and brakes will actually need replaced soon. So was I lied to 6 months ago in order for the company to make money or did the service tech this month not look at anything he was supposed and just write whatever he wanted to on my ticket. Either way I cannot afford to continue to bring my vehicle somewhere where people cannot be honest with me. What if this was something much more serious. FYI, when the desk person returned he had no apology nor did he have an explanation of why things evolved the way they did.Service: Oil change

Hagerstown Ford Quick Lane has been going down hill the last 6 months or so. I ve been coming here since September 2015- 6 years. I ve had a Fusion, and now an Escape worked on numerous times. Never had a complaint before. But recently the receptionists have been short with me, and almost non-transparent.I got 4 brand new tires put on my escape in June. Yesterday one of them got a hole in it. I took it off the escape, and brought it down to the shop. When I got in and told them about the tire I was told it would be at least an hour and half before they could look at the tire. I looked in the garage and there were literally no cars in any of the 4 doors. Nevertheless I decided I would wait. When the receptionist realized that my tire was in the truck he said he could look at it real quick, rather than have me wait. Good news! Or so I thought. He, not a mechanic, went out and looked at the hole. He said, the hole is too wide, and can t be fixed. Didn t even take it into the shop. I asked if I would have to replace all 4 tires and he said, it depends on the tread ware of the other 3 tires in other words, I would have to pay over $1000 dollars to get 4 new tires that I just replaced in June!So I left and headed up to a tire shop near my home. Took it in, told them the problem. They had it patched in less than 10 minutes! They only charged me $10 to patch it. Ford quick lane was going to charge me $45 if they would have been able to patch it.Hagerstown Ford quick lane is going down hill quickly. Customer service is getting worse, and to be honest they only care about screwing the customer to make an extra dollar. I won t ever get tires there again. To be honest, after 6 years I am probably done with them altogether.Service: Tires

The whole experience was fantastic! I needed a routine oil change, however I also had a noise in my rear tire. They found it was a break cable rubbing. They fixed it and I was in and out under an hour. A job well done thank you!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I am very disappointed with the customer service it has been 3 times that I been told they can not help me because they want to get home on time. 1st time I got there for oil change at 4:20pm. Sign on the door says they closes at 7pm but they couldn't do it. I took my car to Jiffy lube they did it in no time. 2nd time they told me I needed to replace the tire nuts. Got there at 4:20pm, they close at 7pm, but they couldn't do it. Recently, this past Saturday I was going to the store when I realized a nail with a washer had embedded itself into the tire, I was told by the same person that "Sorry, we can't take any more".....blah blah blah. Same old line he gave me twice before. This was at 3:10pm. Yes, 3 PM. Once again the door says they close at 5pm on Saturdays. I took my car to Sam's club they replaced my tires in less than 40 minutes. I will never go here. I bought a car here but can get any services here. Again, I don't know if they are discriminating against me or if they have some issue against me. It's always been the same person.Service: Oil change

My son is in a power wheelchair and we have only one vehicle to transport him. They had it in and out, diagnostic and fixing the issues, in 24 hours! We've been taking this vehicle to them for years and have always had good service.

In the past when I've had (The Works) service it's been okay but this past week I had the service performed and the customer service never mentioned that they did not rotate my tires. They let me know that my brakes and tires were good and let me know they filled the window washer fluid after I asked if anything needed topped off. It wasn't till I got home that my wife saw they did not rotate my tires due to swollen lug nuts. I tried calling twice to ask about it but could not get through.

There have been two issues with them recently that soured me on this place. First, My wife and I were diagnosed with swollen lug nuts, so they would not rotate the tires. They wanted nearly $300 to replace them, so I purchased two sets for $10 on Amazon. My wife went there to have them put on when her oil was changed, they charged her $90 to do it. When I went in, they did not charge anything.Second issue happened a few weeks ago, the guy with the beard and tattoos was behind the counter. I had just come from visiting my wife at the hospital and was there an hour before they closed. Asking for an oil change he said "You are pushing it there bud, as I have them cleaning up the bay." There was no one in the bay and I had to explain that my wife was in the hospital and I needed an oil change before I went back to work. I could then here him arguing with the tech about having to do it. If you don't want to do oil changes while you are open, put a sign on the door stating a stop time for service before you close. You would think by the rudeness that people had no other options for service. I had three cars serviced there, I will take that business elsewhere from now on.Service: Oil change

Oil change, spin balance tires and rotate. Simple taskI was told no problem. Then "all we can't spin balance tires Mechanical said he doesn't want to take a chance this late"..... Your open till 7pm.Then comes all we can't rotate tires trucks to heavy for lift. This is same location that had my truck on a lift when I wanted to buy tires. That wasn't a problem. The only problem tires were to expensive. Manager call next day all our lift only goes to 12,000 pound. My truck only weights 8900 pounds. Sounds like someone wanted out early. Amazing I can go across town and they had no problem balancing and rotating tires.Quick lane real joke and a bunch of Lies. Said truck was sideways on lift. I was there nothing was sideways. Think twice before you waste your money here!!!

Since I use factory service on my newer vehicle purchased at Hagerstown Ford. I have them complete oil and filter changes. They don't work on appointments, so plan being there around 1 1/2 hours. Price is reasonable considering they rotate your tires and check brakes, etc . They also work on all brands, sell tires and complete other maintenance. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions.

Quick lane was able to get me in and out in a timely manner. Only problem was the mechanic left black smudges, probably from his hands on my white suv. I understand that their hands get dirty but the smudges could have been wiped off.

A shop that proudly carries on the tradition of shady mechanics, up selling unneeded services and trying to replace parts unnecessarily. I dropped my vehicle for a oil change today and received a call saying I needed to replace my air and cabin filters. Only problem being I replaced them 7000 miles ago. I pulled both for inspection when I arrived home, both definitely did not need replaced. I took photos to document the scam.

Literally every time I take my car to Hagerstown Ford for repairs is has to be returned to be fixed again, they never fix it right the first time. This time they made me miss Easter with my family because they wouldn t answer the phone to give me my car back. Now I m missing my entire day off plans cause they had to come get my car again and now they re saying they don t know when I ll have it back AGAIN!! Worst experiences ever, quoted me one price charged me another, just all around bad.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

If you are looking to get an oil change this is a great place. Allow 2 hours because it always takes longer than they say. If you want other items taken care of it's hit or miss. I always have problems when I go there. That is why I am looking fo a new place.

Terrible service They replaced a tpms sensor in my truck and sent me on my way Half way home the low tire pressure light came on. Went back and was told the sensor needed too be reset but they couldnt do it because they dont have the tool beings that the truck isnt a ford product. I was told they were gonna get the tool and would contact me when it came in. I never got a call back. Thought id give them a second chance and when i went there too get the front brakes replaced i asked them if they got that tool. I was told they did. So i asked them too reset it. Then i was told they werent able too reset it still. Instead of offering too take care of it by taking it somewhere too reset it after they replaced it i was told I would have too take it too the dealership of the brand of truck that it was. They should never have replaced the sensor if you couldnt reset it. Will never go back again.

Any oil change will find a $500 issue. Ironically, if you have them wait until the next oil change, they don t even know that problem exists the next time- the whole dealership and quick lane is a scam and I d never recommend this to anyone - go to the Frederick ford
