Great experience with them. Small local business and they do things right. Harder and harder to find, especially a good one. They are very thorough and professional, but they're just good people and they're always available. Very happy with their work on my truck, I'm taking my son's old bronco in for some work. If you want a quality job done definitely go there, I highly recommend. I'm a return customer, that should tell you all you need to know.

Took my 2014 charger to these great group of guys and had a transmission replaced as mine would jump in and out of gear/ slip gears. They gave me a time on when it would be done and a price on how much it would be. They exceeded my expectations and made the time as well as the original quote price. I couldn t be any more happier with their work and will be a repeating customer for all my transmission work from now on. My charger shifts better than ever! Well we are now 1650 miles away from Accurate Transmission Shop in Hagerstown. We pulled in there on our Dodge b250 van for a filter and fluid change on the transmission, trying to do the right things you know. They lifted the van on a Friday, pulled the pan letting me watch.. we doubt spoonfuls of metal chips, magnetic... these guys understood that we are living and traveling in the van so on my request they immediately pulled the transmission, striped it apart and by end of day Friday knew exactly what was needed to rebuild and upgrade. They worked into Saturday but we found the torque converter isn't available... however these wizards knew that the converter available would work but with a different flywheel , so they ran to the junkyard and pulled the needed parts from a donar van, to be sure to get this all back together one time right. They upgraded the valve builds, installed a large cooler and had me off down the road the next day. Service, friendliness, willingness to make my problem theirs and solve it and on top of all that, a dammed fair price too. I would drive or ship parts to get these guys on it, and highly recommend. Thanks again for getting us to Colorado, and beyond!

I ended up stranded in Maryland on a friday night coming from Maine. Had no idea what to do, towing a truck and trailer back was out of the question financially. I started calling around to local shops and found these amazing folks. They had my truck torn down the next day, diagnosed my issues and had me on the road 2 days later. Couldn t have asked for a better group of genuine people to work on my truck. Thank you doesn t put it into words how grateful I am to these people.

Got my gears done hear front and rear. Great family owned business. Highly recommended. Definitely will be going hear for now on. Friendly and honest. Was told by other shops I need a new engine. They let me know my engine was strong and running right. Just needed a new gasket.

Everyone was great,I have known them for a while and have towed many people here for work. Keith found things that most may have overlooked or just flat out missed and got me going again,can't thank this business and employees enough. I know if anything happens they will diagnose the problem before dismissing it and saying "Not our problem." like another shop I had work done at 3 months ago.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Alow me too say I sent my suv to this shop through salame ave auto and once I got it back it had a flat tire and when it was sent there it didn't have no flat tires and it has a scratch on the bumper and I would never trust these people with my vehicle at all and I have a 4wd vehicle and transmission was act up and rpm was gone high and they said its the ad and how is that when it's a 4wd vehichle...

Was little bit worried at first but ,my 2007 Toyota tundra took 2 more days than expected but ,that's was the leat of my problem.it work great, they kept in touch with me the entire time, kept me up to date with progress and in the end I am very satisfied with the job they did thank you .

Sent the wife's car to this place cause a buddy referred me. Its family run business from my understanding but anyway got a full rebuild on my wife's transmission, it only took them a week to complete it and the vehicle runs better then when it was new. The overall price wasn't to bad. It's affordable for all new parts. A complete rebuild. So far so good as of 1/23/21 . If anything happens I'll update this post. Wanna give thanks to everyone at this place who had a hand into it.

I was told what I needed was simple and wouldn't take long. They had my car for almost 3 weeks and never touched it. When I spoke to the owner she got angry and cussed me out. Won't be going back there.

I had my transmission rebuilt here and my car has been running amazing! Very knowledgeable and honest people, price was fair for the work done, they had my car done in a timely manner. Overall great service, great people and I would highly recommend this business to anyone for your transmission need's.

Very Professional and honest people. I highly recommend this shop for all of your automotive needs. I was quoted a way higher price by another shop which misdiagnosted my truck and Keith was honest and broke down in detail what was going on. They are very good with transmissions bit they are also very good with everything else as well when it comes to fixing your vehicle. If you need something fixed go here.

I needed a new clutch and had called around to several other shops, including a dealership (I know they're more expensive) but all pricing seemed to be well over my expectations based on previous clutch/flywheel replacements, as well as looking at OEM prices online. After speaking to Accurate, I received a "worst case" quote, which was still less than half of any other quotes I had received, even comparing to other local shops in the Hagerstown/Smithsburg/Waynesboro/Greencastle area.I always like to wait a few months before posting for services such as this to allow for any potential issues. With that said, I can 100% recommend Accurate Transmissions based on honest, quality work, while also providing excellent pricing for parts and service. Should I keep my car long enough to need another clutch, I will undoubtedly be bringing it back to Accurate.Service: Transmission

Great old school mechanics. Excellent customer service and fair pricing. They just don't do transmission service. They do all kind of jobs small ones to the big ones. Your one stop shop for your vehicle. Great family owned and run business. Can't get me to go no where else.

Great Mom and Pop type of shop. The transmission on my van went out and they were able to get it fixed with no problems. They really know their stuff and can do more than transmissions. They do not have normal 9-5 hours though.

This is a great place to have your car fixed. Just make sure you have another means of transportation because I think he fixes all of Hagerstown's cars. They are honest and reliable.

Absolutely the best place for car repair always took the time to talk and work with me even have done things on my ol 86 Chevy pickup with no charge they are just easy people to work with but are always super busy which I would say is a good sign...

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE AND WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY WAITED A MONTH TO DIAGNOSE MY CAR AND LIE TO ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM. CLEARLY HAD NO INTENTION OF REPAIRING AND WORKING ON CAR EVEN WHEN I OFFERED TO PAY FOR EVEN MORE OPTIONS AND REPAIRS . HAD ME THINKING MY CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS ONLY TO LATER FIND OUT FROM ANOTHER AUTO MECHANIC SHOP THAT MY CAR WAS PERFECTLY FIND AND ONLY NEEDED A NORMAL REPAIR. TERRIBLE SERVICE NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!! WASTED MY TIME AND EXPENSIVE TOWING FEES FOR NOTHING. EVEN AFTER THAT THEY ONLY GAVE ME A WEEK OR SO TO PICK UP MY DISABLED CAR OR IT WOULD BE IMPOUNDED AT A $500 PRICE. THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN .
