I took my car there to get a Maryland State Inspection and needed repairs. The service was exceptional - very fast and reasonable. Donny the Service Manager and his team are excellent at what they do!

I came to Liberty because my car was stalling and the engine light was on. Donny communicated throughout the whole process and made sure my car was taken care of at a reasonable time. I will definitely be back and would recommend Liberty Auto Repair.

WARNING: This is a very dishonest and misleading auto repair place. Went here for help with my window and ended up with a broken door. The service manager Donny was upset that I declined service because of the price so he proceeded to sabotage my door. The mechanic i took it to today showed me how they zip tied my wiring and removed fuses to make the job more complicated for the next person. Please do not go here if you want an easy and honest car repair

Well I have had AAA for over 20 years, My battery died and when I contacted them they took over 40 min to respond then informed me that I would have to wait another hour before they could get to me I walked over to Liberty. The very kind professional staff drove me back to my, jumped my car, tested my battery (which was a goner) replaced my battery and had me on the road in under 30 min. Useless AAA called me to say that they were on the way while I was at home eating dinner thanks to Liberty... Liberty staff thank you!!! You are really GREAT

Cheapest place in the area, i only paid 89.95$ for MD safety inspection and my car didn t pass However i was quoted reasonably to have my car fixed and not only that ,they hooked me up with 100 days Finance with no interest (same as cash), Great experience from A to Z.I will be back soon.Note: Very busy place because they have the cheapest Gas price in the area

Hands Down,i got 3 different coupons when i was pumping gas so i decided after few days to give those people a shot because i like to support my community so i went there to get an oil change and the mechanic noticed that my tires are bad so i was called and he showed me that it is time to get new shoes for my car.I was offered 4 different options from the cheapest brand to the name brand Tires so i decided to get the Kumho Tires as the upfront guy suggested me the Brand.I tried to call Mr Tire and another local Tireshops and no one was able to match the price and besides that i was able to use one of the coupons for Free Alignment with the purchase of my 4 new Tires.I will be telling everyone about this spot and Thank you AgainServices: Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

There is an employee named Mayra who always is turning off and on the gas when you are pumping your gas. She thinks it s funny to do that to customers and she is the reason why many customers never get gas at this station.

Cheap gas. Dishonest service.During an oil change, the shop called and said I needed 4 additional services, all of which I declined. Two had been done 3 months earlier by another mechanic, and the other two, when I checked on my own, weren't necessary either. The shop said the latter two would have to be done within a month, but, nearly two months later, they still don't need to be done.Go for the gas; skip the service.

Brought my car in about a week ago for an valve cover and spark plug repair. The car was smoking very badly and I thought many other issues would arise. They assured me the car was fine and replacement parts were needed as expected. Best fuel prices in town, 9/10 times they will have a lower price than all of the other Gas Stations in the area. Even when fuel prices were insane in the spring and summer of 2022 they almost always were 10 cents cheaper than everyone else in the Montgomery Village area of Gaithersburg (not to mention the rest of Montgomery County)

This should be a zero star rating. Tried to get my vehicle inspected. They told me it would be done the same day I dropped it off, but then called me later to say the inspector had to leave early and it wouldn't be done until the next day. When they called to tell me it was finished, they said several items failed that had just been replaced. When asked to put it on the lift and show me what was failed, they said they'd show me in the parking lot and they'd call to tell me when he was available, but called me and left 5 minutes later. When I got to my vehicle to pick it up one of the lights they said failed had been unplugged. They told me one price for inspection initially, but then later mentioned a higher price because my vehicle was a 3/4 ton truck. When I went inside the station their sign posted about inspection only mentioned one price.

This auto repair shop is the definition of shady machanic s. Do NOT! I Repeat Do NOT PAY for the repairs until you drive the vehicle. They will say everything is fixed , have you pay for the work at the gas station because they won't be there when you pick your car up, only for the car to still not be working.When you confront them, they'll say they fixed something on the car that needed to be fixed but not fix what was needed to actually make the car run!Then say they will give you a $300 refund. Duck you for days and then say they meant to say $300 off your next repair.They have no integrity so there is nothing to trust about this place. You've been warned...Service: Engine repair

Gas price is always the lowest here compared to anywhere else in the area. I am yet to find a place with lower gas price. Only thing is that it is always crowded with cars waiting to fuel up. I guess this is a side effect of the great price.

The head of the garage is very patient and caring. I do see a lot of inconsiderate customers who treat them as if they are "the help". I'm very appreciative for the service and support they have show when I take my car to the shop.

I did the review below like 3 or 4 years ago when this auto repair was owned by Ray and Tom. They have moved their auto repair to Olney (Olney Car Care at 501 Olney Sandy Spring Road). I cannot speak to the service provided by the current owners of Watkins Mill Liberty.For auto repairs, I have been taking my 2001 Chevy Prizm to Montgomery Village Liberty since about 2003. �In those 16 years, I have gotten OUTSTANDING car repair service from every mechanic there. �I bring my car there every 12 months and there have been years that they have recommended zero maintenance work. �After several years of owning my car they did recommend brake work and it was very reasonably priced. �The brake work and everything they have ever repaired on my car has been 100% satisfactory. �My car is 18 years old and the mechanics have only recommended that I change belts and other parts when actually needed. �I know the mechanics there have saved me a lot of money versus what the dealership would have had me spend every year. �Also, whenever I call for an appointment, I am generally told I can come in the next day. Please note that the waiting area for customers is not an expensive auto dealership waiting area. �It is a �waiting area for a mechanic that would rather spend money on paying its mechanics rather than new furnishings. �Some of their mechanics have been there for many years so they are definitely keeping their employees happy. �I highly recommend the auto repair work at Montgomery Village Liberty. �Otto Gonzalez, Bethesda, Md.

Staff is a bit rude & because of price the place can get crowded. Other than that my vehicle doesn't seem to like the gas here. Runs a bit ruff regardless of what grade I choose. Kinda suspect if you ask me.
