I met Eric almost 2 years ago and regret NOT having met him 20 years ago. I would have saved a lot of heartaches and money.I loved my SAAB 9.3 and he recognized that! But, after a few bad experiences with people who were not honest about their SAAB knowledge, I saw a bleak future and decided to buy a new car after 16 years. I purchased a BMW 2018 and as I was signing the loan papers, the financial officer says: "OBTW, if you want a good SAAB mechanic, go see.....". I did.I decided to hang on to the SAAB a little longer, as I was attached. I nearly returned the BMW, as Eric fixed the SAAB very reasonably, and its zest returned. In a nutshell: honest work, honest charge, trustworthy, and thorough. Be sure to have a little time on your schedule to give him enough time to do a good job. Can't say enough about this shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Eric has been servicing my SAABs (900s & 9-3 Aero) for many years. His knowledge of these peculiar cars is extensive and he is a true SAAB specialist. He looks for ways to save you money with OEM used parts if available, and warranties them after installation, and his prices are very reasonable. I Highly recommended Viking Automotive.

I'm a Saab owner and stumbled across this shop by pure luck online looking to get my oil changed. I saw nothing but stellar reviews and decided to give them a shot. As many others have mentioned in their reviews, these guys know their stuff. From oil changes to..."my car made this weird sound and I'm not sure what it is", they do it all. I haven't been to another mechanic since I started bringing my car there which was nearly 5 years ago. Reasonable, professional and knowledgeable. Everything you want in a great shop.

Trustworthy, honest pricing, knowledge and value. Don t take your Saab anywhere else. I have had nothing but good experiences there with my 2007 9-3 2.0.

Went here the other day and got to speak with David. Told him the problem on my Saab 9-3 '07 Aero which was throwing codes suddenly and he immediately got his Tech2 without further questions. He spent sometime looking at the codes and decided that Eric would know more about one particular code. Eric corresponds with me on email. Which I thought was amazing since what car shop mechanic/owner would ever take the time to do that? No one else. I give their service much respect even not having had actual work done. Thank you David and Eric.

I have been coming to this place for a few years now. If you have a Saab, finding QUALIFIED mechanics is difficult, and while Viking is a 45 min trip (on a good day), it's well worth it. Eric is definitely helping the NOVA/MD/DC area keep their Saabs on the road.

Eric is Awesome! Super-knowledgeable and helpful. This guy is the Saab guru,and i'm sure he could fix anything.Spent almost a whole day with me letting me pic his brain about parts and Saabs in general.Just go here. Trustworthy Techs are hard to find. Tell him I sent you :)

Viking Automotive has serviced both of my SAAB 9000s over a period of at least 10 years or more. This place is what everyone is looking for in an auto repair facility, particularly for SAABs. Nothing fancy, just knowledgeable mechanics, HONEST and very reasonably priced. If you have any model, any year, SAAB this is the place to take it.

I took my 2008 Jaguar XJL in for a cabin heat distribution problem. Viking replaced the auxiliary coolant pump and did oil change service at a reasonable price.

So these is a place that I was refer to by another mechanic when I was looking to have my car .the place its small and theirs only one mechanic the owner, but he's a pro on Saab cars.
